UmbraCity-Paris is a real-time, 3D pedestrian navigation system that routes people through the shadiest streets in a city. It uses actual building heights, tree canopies, and sun geometry to calculate where shadows fall at any given moment, and colors each road on the map by how comfortable it is to walk on.
