Windrunner
The world’s largest aircraft ever built, Windrunner, runs on sustainable aviation fuel to deliver wind turbines directly to onshore wind farms using Radia’s aerial logistic capabilities.
Expanding the scope and scale of onshore wind energy, Radia can deliver around the world to what might be difficult-to-access and low-wind locations via ground infrastructure, Windrunner can touch down in areas that may only have about 6,000 feet of a semi-prepared landing strip.
Clean energy
Radia’s innovative journey in aerial transportation solutions is crafted through a film by FutureDeluxe, capturing the revolutionary expansion of onshore wind energy, and the unique visual language. The film features photorealistic renders of the Gigawind—the largest, most powerful wind turbines ever deployed onshore—and the Windrunner aeroplane. Set against a minimalist black-and-white backdrop, highlighting the immense scale and technological advancements in wind energy and sustainable aviation.
Research and development
During the research phase, the team experimented with two key elements. The first was how to showcase the scale of this category-redefining aircraft. This involved testing many different camera angles, lenses and overall scenes to convey the large nature of Windrunner. Plus, the design of the clouds and how they interact with the blades as the clouds move show the realistic scale of the blades.
The other aspect was how to communicate the premium nature of Radia to the key audience of leaders in the energy industry around the world. The team explored elevating the film to feel like a title sequence, experimenting with the typography, layouts and music.
