We are a 501(c)3 (Not-For-Profit) organization incorporated within the state of California for the purpose of holding an annual convention, Anthro SoCal, to provide a forum for attendees to gather to experience, learn, share, and celebrate anthropomorphic art.
Anthropomorphics is the exploration of non-human characters, often animal-inspired, that are given human qualities such as intelligence, speech, and community. These characters are a creative medium for storytelling, visual art, and expression, while also encouraging reflection on the diversity of sentient life and the idea of worlds beyond our own.
Our annual convention, Anthro SoCal, brings this creativity to life for the Southern California community and beyond. Formerly known as Another Furry Con, the event provides a welcoming space where fans and creators can connect, share their work, and celebrate anthropomorphic art and culture together. Dates and location for Anthro SoCal 2026 will be announced soon.
