Hello, lovely femslash writer! It's that time of year again! I'm so excited to be a part of this exchange once more. Included in this letter is a general outline of stuff I enjoy and stuff I'd rather not get as well as fandom and pairing-specific ideas to get the creative juices flowing.

General DNW's

First person POV

Fics with little or no dialogue

Sensory deprivation (blindfolds, handcuffs, gags, etc.)

Detailed vomiting (weird to say, I know, but just in case!)

Prostitution, prison, or slavery themes/backstories

Whips or canes used in bondage/impact play (all other toys are a-okay!)

Soul mate/bonding or bodyswap AUs

Squirting

G!P/futa (that being said, if you think any of these ladies are trans, that is totally fine! I just hate the lazy G!P trope itself)

Requested Fandoms

Riverdale (TV 2017)

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (movies)

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (TV)

GLOW (TV 2017)

Here are some fandom and ship-specific ideas. I hope they inspire you!

Riverdale (TV 2017)

Requested ships:

Cheryl Blossom/Josie McCoy

Veronica Lodge/Josie McCoy

Mary Andrews/Hermione Lodge

Alice Cooper/Hermione Lodge

Hermione Lodge/Sierra McCoy

Cheryl Blossom/Josie McCoy

I remember in an interview with either Ashleigh or Madelaine that they said Cheryl and Josie's friendship was almost "political," like they needed each other's influence/popularity to rule the school. I'd love to see that calculated friendship blossom (pun intended) into something with real feelings, even if both girls try to resist it.

Parental reactions (Penelope is delighted--such a good girl from a respected family!--but Sierra is skeptical of Blossom motives)

Two queen bees ruling the school side by side

Those moments when frenemies become friends, friends become crushes, and crushes become girlfriends--and all the angst that goes along with it

Veronica Lodge/Josie McCoy

I'm so in love with the Josie/Veronica/Reggie dance club scene and the heart-to-heart that follows. I don't mind a poly ship with the three of them, but I'd still want the focus to remain on the ladies. Josie and Veronica seem to be the same type of girl at heart--they have big dreams and long term goals, but they still want to be happy in the now.

An AU of the dance club episode where Veronica brings Josie home with her afterwards (maybe it starts as something to make Hermione mad but turns into a fun hook-up)

Josie and Veronica start singing together more, which causes a little drama with the other Pussycats before they realize what Josie has with Ronnie is totally different

No-strings-attached FWB relationship--they're total buddies, but their romance is strictly casual. Writer's choice if it remains that way or they catch feelings.

Mary Andrews/Hermione Lodge

I'm such a sucker for teenage flashbacks with the parents. I get the vibe that Hermione and Mary were more rivals than besties in high school, so I'd love to see how that trope could be made more original.

Academic rivals turned girlfriends (Knowledge Bowl partners?)

They actually did go to a school dance as dates one year, which is why Alice was so surprised to see them with Fred. Maybe everyone thought they'd be endgame and not Mary/Fred? Did they raise some eyebrows in the early 90s?

Deconstructing the "good girl" trope and letting them be young and free and experimental together

Alice Cooper/Hermione Lodge

These two would have such an interesting dynamic in high school. With what small bits we get from canon, we can tell they both had huge personalities as teens, and seeing those clash would be amazing.

More playing with tropes--Alice was the "bad girl" from the South Side and Hermione was the "good girl" from a rich family, but how true were those stereotypes?

Writing that goes back and forth between "first times"--the high school first time and the getting-back-together first time

Seeing themselves in their respective daughters and wanting to set a better example for them

Hermione Lodge/Sierra McCoy

Sierra McCoy is another character I wish we saw more of! She's a woman who wants to remain on top of the food chain--and Hermione is a woman who is seeing herself slowly slipping. I love the idea of two scheming, power-hungry women using each other as a means to an end.

They lock themselves in Sierra's office for a serious discussion and things escalate (I'll let you decide in which direction!)

An examination of how they see one another--parenting styles, fashion choices, body language, etc. I see them trying to get a feel for one another before they make a move.

AU where they're Riverdale's power couple--married mothers with two beautiful, successful teen daughters. OR, if you'd like, they estranged spouses and Hermione has just returned to town with Veronica to try to reconcile.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (movies)

Requested ships:

Queenie Goldstein/Seraphina Picquery

Queenie Goldstein/Seraphina Picquery

I'm in love the idea of bubbly, warm Queenie bringing out the softer side of powerful, stoic Madam Picquery. They are two very unique female characters who could really compliment each other. They're also so aesthetically lovely next to each other with Queenie's pink dresses and Seraphina's somber robes, so I've requested fan art for this ship as well.

Starting a family together with two working mothers in the 1920s--does the Wizarding world see their arrangement differently, or would they meet the same obstacles as No-Majs would?

Queenie finding out how Seraphina feels about her through legilemency but not knowing how to go from there

Queenie knowing something is wrong as it happens to Seraphina with subsequent angst/HC (like how she knew Tina was in trouble in the movie)

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Requested ships:

Mantis/Natasha Romanov

Nebula/Aleta Oogard

Gamora/Jane Foster

Mantis/Natasha Romanov

Imagine exactly what Mantis would feel after touching Natasha for the first time. There's a lot of room for angst in this ship, but Mantis could also be a therapeutic character for Natasha and allow her to feel all those bottled-up feelings.

Natasha, who is trained at controlling her emotions and movements, teases Mantis by getting her turned on with only a touch

Natasha helps Mantis assimilate to Terran--and Mantis takes to Earth traditions right away

Playing with the Battle Couple trope--how could their skills play off each other?

Nebula/Aleta Oogard

There's a lot of room for plotty goodness and post-GotG vol. 2 headcanons. They are both women who are trained for war in different ways. How could their paths cross again?

Nebula thinks Aleta is just seducing her to be a part of her Ravager crew, but Aleta's motives are a little more complicated

Aleta gives Nebula exotic gifts from her travels--gifts that don't have anything to do with modding Nebula's body

Introducing each other to their respective teams to varying reactions

Gamora/Jane Foster

Jane wants to know everything about the world around her, but Gamora lives each day just trying to survive. I could see tension arising between them--knowledge vs. action, seeing vs. doing.

Gamora thinks Jane sees her as nothing more than a science experiment, but in reality, Jane just wants to get to know Gamora as Gamora. She's had enough of "aliens" to last her a lifetime.

AU with Jane as a grounded scientist on a foreign planet and Gamora as the Guardian sent to keep her safe with the rest of the team

Jane has somehow landed herself through a portal of some sort and appears on the Milano--much to Gamora's interest

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend (TV)

Requested ships:

Rebecca Bunch/Heather Davis/Valencia Perez

Rebecca Bunch/Heather Davis/Valencia Perez

These are three women who are such total human disasters that they would need each other to survive. This can be humorous--Heather just wanting her girlfriends to chill already--or rather serious--the girls not knowing how to deal with Rebecca's mental illnesses right away. They make great friends in the show, but adding a romantic element would be even better.

Revisiting Rebecca's disastrous meeting with the polyamorous lovers and trying to make if work for her in her own way. How does she approach it at first with the girls? How does she put her foot in her mouth?

Since this is such a self-aware show, play with the tropes. Does Valencia see herself as the Hot One of the group? Does Heather snark against the Confused Bisexual trope?

If you're feeling really ambitious, how would their relationship play out in the muscial of Rebecca's mind?

GLOW (TV 2017)

Requested ships:

Ruth Wilder/Debbie Eagan

Carmen Wade | Machu Picchu/Rhonda Richardson | Britannica

Ruth Wilder/Debbie Eagan

Oh, the angst to be had between these two! At the end of the series, Debbie says they're not there yet, but I think it will definitely happen in season two. There's too much history between them.

Trying a new wrestling move leads to awkward body positions and even more awkward this-shouldn't-turn-me-on friction

Liberty Belle and Zoya the Destroya apparently have "sexual tension" according to fans, which everyone can see but Debbie and Ruth themselves

Total and complete hate!sex that slowly drifts into something gentler and not-so-hateful

Carmen Wade | Machu Picchu/Rhonda Richardson | Britannica

These two are both so irresistably adorable. They show innocence and naivete in different ways. I love how their relationship has grown and wish we could've seen more of them together.

Rhonda offers to be Carmen's first time. The sex is excellent, and Carmen is confident and happy to continue her sexual education with other people, but for once, Rhonda can't seperate feelings from sex and pines for Carmen. Happy endings all around after angst ensues!

Rhonda sticks up for Carmen in front of Carmen's dad and brothers when they start treating Carmen like a kid

Totally adorable PDA--Rhonda has no problem kissing/hugging/snuggling her GF in public, especially when it makes Carmen blush

If you like the ships but aren't feeling the prompts, no worries! Here are some of my favorite femslash-oriented tropes, AUs, etc. that always make me smile.

SFW

Historical, college, musician/punk, werewolf, and tattoo shop AU's

Slow courtship/dating

Domesticity

Epistolary (texts/social media included)

Sharing clothing

Meeting the parents/family/friends

Playful/mild jealousy/possessive behavior

Humor/girls being playful/silly/funny with each other

Female friendships on the side, especially between characters we wouldn't expect to be friends

Proposals and weddings

Pregnancy and new motherhood

Bubble baths, spa days, and pampering

NSFW

Dom/sub

Sugar mommy arrangements

Dirty talk/consensual verbal humiliation

Spanking

Pet names during sex (sweetheart, baby, etc.)

Edging

Sex while menstruating

Consensual "voyeurism" (Skye sex, stripteases, watching the other masturbate, etc.)

PDA with marks of possession (hickeys, etc.)

Holding wrists down during sex

Vaginal fisting

Anal play (rimming, beads, plugs, etc.)

Not wearing underwear

Hello, fellow writer! Thank you for taking the time to check out my letter, and thank you for writing for me. While I am a longtime lurker in the YoI community, I have never dipped into writing for it, so this is exciting all around.

General DNW's

First person POV

Fics with little or no dialogue

Sensory deprivation (blindfolds, handcuffs, gags, etc.)

Detailed vomiting (weird to say, I know, but just in case!)

Prostitution, prison, or slavery themes/backstories

Whips or canes used in bondage/impact play (all other toys are a-okay!)

Soul mate/bonding or bodyswap AUs

I hope that doesn't sound like too much! Many of these probably wouldn't even come up, and none of them are SUPER hard limits...I just wouldn't prefer any of them as a central theme. I also have no aversion to underage!Yuri, but if you want to age him up, that's completely your choice. Anything is fine with me!

Requested ships:

Jean-Jacques Leroy/Yuri Plisetsky/Isabella Yang

Katsuki Mari/Okukawa Minako

Lilia Baranovskaya/Okukawa Minako

Mila Babicheva/Katsuki Mari

Mila Babicheva/Sara Crispino/Isabella Yang

Otabek Altin/Jean-Jacques Leroy/Yuri Plisetsky

As you can see, I'm all over the board with types of ships. I love femslash, poly ships, and age differences. I love characters who challenge and antagonize each other. I love ships with characters in different circumstances on different tracks in life. Anything from G-rated fluff to E-rated porn is just fine.

Since you are probably matched on a specific ship, I'll save you the reading and outline some specific prompts/ideas for each ship!

Jean-Jacques Leroy/Yuri Plisetsky/Isabella Yang

Ever since I saw some fan art on Tumblr for these three, I can't get them out of my head. Isabella is seen as a haughty character with a hidden heart of gold, so I bet she out of anyone could get Yuri to loosen up a little bit. And Jean-Jacques is just happy to be here!

Isabella getting Yuri all dolled up to impress JJ

Isabella and Yuri making out/flirting/snuggling to get JJ all jealous/riled up

The epic arguments/lovers' quarrels they all have (and the eventual making up)

Katsuki Mari/Okukawa Minako

They are such polar opposite personality types! Mari is laidback, crynical, and "alt" while Minako is outgoing and very disciplined. They probably see each other nearly every day, but we don't get much canon interaction between them. Their snarky banter and intimacy would be amazing.

Pre-canon with Mari taking ballet lessons just to impress Minako

They have a friends with benefits relationship that goes on through the entire show. No one ever notices.

Minako helps Mari quit smoking. Angst ensues.

Lilia Baranovskaya/Okukawa Minako

It took me a long time to warm up to Lilia, but she's just the kind of female character I usually end up adoring--she's made of stern stuff, but she's incredibly dedicated and caring. I'd love to see her and another disciplined, talented ballet instructor like Minako making a life together.

Minako holding her own with Yakov and earning his respect

Ballet as foreplay

Lilia may be skilled at doing her pupils' hair, but she only lets Minako touch her hair

Mila Babicheva/Katsuki Mari

We pretty much only see Mari interact with Hatsetsu folks (+ Yuri), so I'd love to see her get to know someone outside her hometown. And Mila's been pretty insulated with training as well, so she deserves a sweetie who exists outside the skating/ballet sphere.

Long distance relationship AU

AU with Mila visiting the onsen as Yuri's chaperone; she ends up being smitten with Mari

Mari freaking out about Mila enduring a small fall/injury on the ice

Mila Babicheva/Sara Crispino/Isabella Yang

I feel like the skaters tend to stick together, even when they don't all necessarily "like" each other, so I'd love to see Mila and Sara as the dynamic duo who give Isabella the ice queen treatment (pun intended) before realizing how much they really like her.

Mila and Sara "share" Isabella as a girlfriend. They've stopped trying to explain it to people.

Isabella planning non-skating dates for the three of them (I could see them all at the beach!)

Isabella cheering for them both with elaborate signs and tons of flowers

Otabek Altin/Jean-Jacques Leroy/Yuri Plisetsky

I love the dynamic possibilities among three such strong personalities. Otabek's quiet strength, JJ's star power, and Yuri's hot-head tendencies would make for an explosive relationship on all fronts.

Trope aversion where they are actually very domestic and vanilla

JJ prides himself on being both Otabek and Yuri's "first"

Going clubbing/dancing together

None of these ideas/prompts doing it for you? No problem! Here are some general tropes/AU's/kinks I always enjoy no matter what.

SFW

Historical, college, musician/punk, werewolf, and tattoo shop AU's

Arranged marriage

Slow courtship/dating

Domesticity

Epistolary (texts/social media included)

Sharing clothing

Meeting the parents/family/friends

NSFW

Dom/sub

Sugar daddy/mommy arrangements

Dirty talk/consensual verbal humiliation

Spanking

Pet names during sex (sweetheart, baby, etc.)

Edging

Sex while menstruating

OT3 voyeurism with two characters having sex and the third watching/masturbating

Smut Swap 2017 Author Letter

Hello there, fellow smut writer! I'm so excited to be sharing this letter with you! I'm hoping this will be a helpful guide for whatever delicious dirtiness you are willing to cook up for me.

I usually begin these letters with some brief AUs/tropes/DNWs I normally go for, but since this is such a specific challenge, I'll keep it brief.

General DNWs
-First person POV
-Gags, blindfolds, and any other sensory deprivation
-Forced feminization (consensual can be sexy, though)
-Soul mate, bodyswap, prison, or prostitution AUs
-Explicit vomiting/gagging--offscreen sickness/drunken mishaps totally fine, just nothing detailed

Here are some specific ideas for each fandom/pairing. If I don't say I don't want something, go for it--seriously! My kinkiness knows no bounds. Creative filth is my lifeblood.

Riverdale (TV 2017)

Archie Andrews/Jughead Jones

Kinky Tags included: Service top, watersports, submission, trust kink, naked cuddling, neediness to please, gentle dom, domestic discipline, masturbation, fingerfucking, dominance, obedience, humiliation

In this version of Archie canon, Jughead seems to know exactly who he is in a way that Archie doesn’t. I love the idea of Jughead being dominant over Archie in all aspects of their relationship, even to the point of being a smug dick about it. He knows when to give Archie space and when to coddle him, when to give him a firm hand and when to be sweet to him. He’s confident of his role in Archie’s life.

In the current comic run, Jughead is asexual, which I completely respect as canon for him in the show as well. If you wanted to write Jughead as an asexual dominant who “allows” Archie’s sexual release as a form of dominance, I’d be super into that. Maybe his version of “getting off” is seeing Archie completely boneless and strung out for him. Or, if you don’t headcanon Jughead as asexual, that’s totally fine! Any interpretation is alright with me. As a person somewhere on the aro/ace spectrum myself, I know being ace is all about grey areas, so don’t feel bad if that’s not a topic you want to touch. I certainly would be happy with whatever you choose!

Some ideas:

Service sub!Archie who only wants what Jughead wants and gets off on Jughead’s pleasure (sexual or otherwise)

When Archie is especially freaking out about Grundy/the girls/music/football, he wants Jughead to take over completely, including telling him when he can eat, use the bathroom, etc. Go all out for this if you want, including watersports.

Archie getting off on small displays of dominance/possession (Jughead touching the small of his back, telling off Moose or Reggie, saving him a booth at Pop’s). Extra awesome if Jughead is totally mystified by this, but keeps doing it to see Archie get worked up.

Jughead asking Archie to masturbate while he’s putting on the act of not caring or not paying attention—for example, asking Archie to get himself off while he writes a chapter of his book. Taking it a step further, Jughead hauling Archie over his lap and fingering him until he comes, all while acting like he’s more interesting in watching a movie/TV show than he is in his boyfriend.

The Nice Guys (2016)

Jackson Healy/Holland March

Kinky Tags included: Sharing a bed, dirty talk, rimming, body hair, age difference, fake/pretend relationship, spanking, beard kink

This goofy-ass movie hits all of my weird buttons. The characters are funny and fail-boaty and vulnerable in the best ways, and chubby, ass-kicker Russell Crowe and alcoholic single dad Ryan Gosling make the weirdest, most perfect ship in 2016 cinema (for me, at least).

Don't worry about violence if you want to go for a more plotty case-type fic. Channel Shane Black all you'd like!

Some ideas:

If you want to, pull out all the cheesy 1970s stops. Horrible body and facial hair. Terrible polyester clothing. Disco records on while they fuck. Mirrors on the ceiling over the rotating no-tell motel bed. Sweaty, half-drunk sex in the cramped cab of a Pontiac Firebird. A grainy homemade porno movie, complete with soundtrack. Make it cheesy and hilarious and nostalgically gross, and I will worship you.

They have to go undercover at a swinger’s party as a free-spirited gay couple. Holland is terrifyingly good at playing the part; Healy, less so. He wants to brass knuckle everyone who tries to put their hands down Holland’s pants.

They try to keep it quiet and classy at home, but Holly is smart enough to know what squeaking bedsprings and that high-pitched noise her dad makes means. Cue embarrassing moments. Canon itself allows for unhealthy father-daughter dynamics, so Holly knowing all about who her dad is fucking would seem to work pretty well.

They have a totally no-romance sexual relationship. They work together, spend all day together, and fuck at night, but there’s no roses or dates or touchy-feeliness happening. Love for them is a slap on the ass and sleeping in the wet spot. Older men falling in love for the second time is such a weird kink to have, but I’ll embrace it.

Star Wars Original Trilogy

Oola/Leia Organa

Kinky Tags included: Dancing, voyeurism, public sex, sex as reward, seduction, loss of virginity, xeno, tentacles

This ship has stuck with me for a long time, and they push a lot of buttons that aren't my normal kinky buttons. For example, I usually hate any kind of slavery/forced bondage theme, but the idea of Leia and Oola being enslaved together and using their shared smarts to get out ahead really appeals to me. Their dynamic totally does it for me--Oola is the slightly naive, scared girl who only knows she needs to survive, and Leia is the smart, wiley, scheming woman who knows she needs to get her hands dirty to make it out alive.

With this pairing, I prefer to see more of a degree of sexual agency. I'm not so much interested in just them going at it in front of a slobbering Jabba--I think their dynamic would allow for a little more depth, if that makes sense.

Some ideas:

Since this is Star Wars and canon keeps it PG, feel free to explore some of the more "alien" aspects of Oola's sexuality. Is she more sensitive in different areas? Does she try something with Leia that totally throws Leia off/turns her on? Does she use her lekku in creative ways? And if you're more into xeno/tentacles, go for it.

An AU with Oola as a professional dancer who has fallen in with a bad crowd and Leia as a spy undercover with her dance company. All the espionage/seduction tropes to be had!

If you want it to take place in/during canon, maybe Oola thinks she owes Leia in some way after Leia saves her from the Rancor pit. She offers herself as a reward, and Leia has reservations. I don't really prefer non-con or dub-con in this situation...I'd rather have them out of peril with Oola finally convincing Leia she wants to love her down and show her some affection.

I love the idea of Leia and Oola using their sexuality as weapons. Maybe they give a little show to one of Jabba's "guests," all while trying to distract them from the fact that Lando or Luke is sneaking around in the background. I'd love to see that voyeurism/exhibitionism played up as a means to an end between two intelligent women who trust each other with their lives.

Hey there! I'm so excited for this year's exchange. Last year, I had to drop out due to personal issues, so I'm really ready for this year's writing and reading.

Here are a few general things about my fic interests. I read anything from G-rated fluff to the smuttiest of smut. I love AU's so much, especially historical--50's, noir, hippies, Victorian, regency. Any and all historical AU's are amazing. I also like college, musician/punk, werewolf, and tattoo shop AU's. Arranged marriage as a trope is a guilty pleasure, and slow courtships/chaste romances always make me smile. If you're feeling kinky, I love dom/sub, age differences within age of consent, sugar mommy agreements, mating/bonding rituals, consensual humiliation, dirty talk, sharing clothing, spanking, edging, and menstrual sex. All of these kinks go for all pairings, and with this exchange, feel free to utilize any of them if any of my specific ideas don't click with you.

My only trigger is vomit, but I have a few squicks--non-con/dub-con, slavery themes, whips/canes (painplay/discipline not involving those is totally fine), gags, blindfolds, forced feminization, and sensory deprivation. As for AU's, I'm not a fan of soul mates, bodyswap, prison, or prostitution. I'm also not fans of relationships where one person is obviously into the other person way more--mutual affection is important to me. First-person POV isn't my favorite, either.

Without further ado, here are my fandoms and pairings as well as my wishlist for each one!

Star Trek: Classic Timeline

Ships: J.M. Colt/Number One, Christine Chapel/Nyota Uhura, Christine Chapel/Janice Rand, Number One/Janice Rand, Janice Rand/Nyota Uhura

I've recently been rewatching this show, and I forgot how much I love getting lost in the setting. I love the cerebral elements of the show, the fact that the action/sci-fi is portrayed through words and negotiations rather than explosions most of the time. I love fics that deal with emotional and philosophical struggles in combination with the sillier Monsters of the Week or classic sci-fi tropes (mind control, hallucinogenic visions, etc.).

I think my TOS OTP would have to be Christine Chapel/Nyota Uhura. These are both characters whose beauty and elegance light up every scene, while, at the same time, get pushed aside for the male characters. After a recent rewatch, I was surprised at how little screentime Chapel actually gets--I was always so drawn to her that I thought she played a much more prominent role. If you'd like, I'd love to see any episode told through the eyes of either of these women, who always seem to get lost in the background. I love the trope involving them sort of edging their way into each other's spaces--Chapel next to Nyota's comm station, Nyota lingering in the sickbay. I also love the idea of them being an established couple under the radar--at the end of the day, they're married, and it's just a known thing.

Then, of course, we have Janice Rand. Poor Janice--I would've liked to see her and her beehive in every single TOS episode from beginning to end. And she was in, what, 13 episodes total? That's so wild to me! She's probably the TOS character (besides Kirk) who makes the biggest impression on me. I'd love to see any multifaceted representation of her--is she the snobby little secret sex kitten fandom likes to think she is, or is she a painfully shy woman who just wants to get her job done? Christine Chapel/Janice Rand is always a pairing I've wanted to explore, especially since they were so far apart in canon. I can see her and Chapel getting along really well. They both just want to get shit done, but at the same time, they can be very vulnerable. When it comes to Janice Rand/Nyota Uhura, I can see a bit of mentoring going on. I think Nyota is a little more mature than Rand, and she'd have a lot to teach her (sexy and otherwise!).

If you're looking to really tackle a rare pairing, I'd love to see something for J.M. Colt/Number One. A year ago, I'd barely know who these characters are, but I have a newfound love for the alternate TOS pilot "The Cage" with Captain Pike (as well as the later "Menagerie" episodes that sort of blend those alternate characters/personalities with canon). In this imaging, Majel Barrett plays the cool, logical Number One (a role Spock would later take over, because, you know, sexism) and instead of Rand (and the later parade of one-off yeomen), there was the young J.M. Colt assisting on the bridge.

In "The Cage," the women are pitted against each other to see who would be the best mate for Pike, citing that Number One would produce the most intelligent offspring while Colt's "unusually strong female drives" would be an obvious benefit. The whole thing is sexist as hell, of course, but I do love the idea of Number One and Colt coming together to put their strengths to good use in solving problems on the Enterprise. I can see a rivals-to-friends-to-lovers dynamic happening with them, with a lot of banter and ribbing from Colt. If you like writing romance/smut, Number One would be a total dom with Colt as the bossy bottom of my dreams. As far as tropes go, I love the idea of Colt and Number One being stranded somewhere together and having to work together, culminating in a relationship. Along the same vein, I think Janice Rand/Number One would make an interesting dynamic--there would be a lot of sizing up there.

Teen Wolf

Ships: Laura Hale/Marin Morrell, Jennifer Blake/Marin Morrell, Braeden/Melissa McCall, Braeden/Marin Morrell, Kate Argent/Jennifer Blake/Kali

Teen Wolf is probably the fandom I've invested the most time and fannish love in, and I still never tire of it. For a long time, I was more focused on the teen characters (which is normal, of course--it isn't Adult Wolf, though that would be awesome), but now that I'm a little older, I tend to see a lot of potential in the adult characters. I especially love the women involved in the Druid/emissary business--Marin Morrell and Jennifer Blake. I love the magic and science elements of being in the supernatural community, so feel free to explore that mythology. With Jennifer Blake/Marin Morrell, I can see a huge amount of animosity and anger between them, with Marin siding with the sort of helpful aspects of being an emissary while Jennifer sort of went to the "dark side." There's a huge opportunity for drama there.

My OTP is definitely Laura Hale/Marin Morrell. Since we don't know a ton about either woman, it can be really fun to dig into what would be a rich history between them. Were they childhood sweethearts? Was Marin going to be Laura's emissary? What was Marin's reaction to Laura's death? A pre-canon fic or an AU with them would be amazing.

A character I always wanted to see more of was Braeden. I really wanted it to be revealed that she had an emissary history, especially history with Marin. Teen Wolf has always had a rough track record with characters of color, so I tend to go wild with headcanons and AUs involving Braeden/Marin Morrell and Braeden/Melissa McCall. There are a lot of great topics to touch on with these ships--age, background differences, mental vs. physical strength, fear, action vs. reaction, attitudes towards the supernatural, etc.

My dark, guilty pleasure OT3 is Jennifer Blake/Kali/Kate Argent, mostly because they would be so deliciously evil. There are so many differences in their motivations, and I love the idea of Kate sort of fitting her way into an established Jennifer/Kali couple. These three are far from fluffy, so grungy, dark AUs (vampires, punk, serial killers, etc.) would be amazing for them.

Crossover Ships

Ships: Jessica Jones (Marvel Netflix)/Vanessa Carlylse (Deadpool 2016), Ann Perkins (Parks and Recreation)/Rosa Diaz (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Furiosa (Mad Max)/Rey (Star Wars - All Media Types), Blanche (Pokemon)/Elsa (Disney), Gamora (MCU)/Rey (Star Wars), Meerkatnip | MK (Tanis)/Alex Reagan (Black Tapes)

These ships are so obscure, but I just know there's someone who will adore them as much as I do!

Right now, you'd have to pry Jessica Jones/Vanessa Carlysle from my cold, dead hands. Can you imagine how hilarious and kick-ass they would be together? They're such a wonderful match made in apathetic, drunk, foul-mouthed heaven. I love how they're such realized characters, especially in terms of their sexuality--they're sexual, but not in a way that is framed for the male audience. They love to fuck, but they aren't all pretty and moaning and soft for the screen. They're real, and I adore them. Anything with banter and sass and dirty sheets and shower sex and stupid voicemails and empty beer bottles just screams this ship.

I think Ann Perkins/Rosa Diaz is a ship I've seen in this exchange before, and the content is always so top-notch for them. I just love the idea of Ann being really sweet and pragmatic and chill to Rosa's cool, tough, emotionless exterior. There's a meta post rolling around Tumblr about a scenario where Rosa says she has a new partner, and everyone is expecting this tough-talking bad-ass biker who is just as scary as Rosa, then this soft-spoken cutie in a sundress shows up and makes Rosa smile. I could totally see Ann showing up to the 99 in her scrubs and a box of cupcakes from the bakery, just to see how Rosa is doing. I bet everyone would fall in love with Ann, and Ann would be appalled at Jake's horrible health. In contrast, if you wanted to place a fic in Pawnee, I could see Rosa and Leslie going head-to-head with how much they love Ann, with Rosa trying so hard to act like she doesn't know everything about Ann and how much she adores her.

I started writing a description for a fic with Furiosa/Rey, but I'm actually at a loss as to why I ship them--I just do. There are so many barriers they would have to break down in order to be close to one another. They both have a long way towards trust and true intimacy, they've both lived sheltered lives in different ways, and they both have different ideas of freedom and family and love. In all honesty, I just want a mix of their worlds. Furiosa in space and Rey on the War Machine both make me smile.

The above three ships are ones that I sought out and nominated myself, but I saw a few other crossover ships that I couldn't possibly ignore. One is Blanche/Elsa. Whoever thought of this is a genius! First of all, you could write a whole fic about what Pokemon Elsa would collect and how they would work in Arendelle. And then you have these two characters who are both the "ice queens" of their fandoms in totally different ways. How do they "thaw" each other? How do they meet? Do Anna and Spark get along? I think Gamora/Rey has the potential to be an absolutely hilarious ship. They'd each be a little afraid of each other in their own way, and then they'd bicker and banter with the best of them. I think they'd both consider each other "alien," which is always a fun trope, and they both long for a home and for family.

I practically squealed when I saw that Alex/MK was a nominated ship! I thought they were such an obscure ship that nobody else ever wanted them but me. I tend to ship pretty much everyone with Alex--she's curious, smart, funny, and (I can just tell) cute. She's also a bit of an innocent sometimes, which would mesh so well with MK, who I imagine has seen some shit. But I also like the idea of Alex being wickedly flirty and dorky and MK just totally falling apart with how cute she thinks Alex is.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Ships: Sharon Carter/Maria Hill, Helen Cho/Jane Foster, Peggy Carter/Natasha Romanov, Jane Foster/Nebula, Hope van Dyne/Sharon Carter, and Christine Everhart/Hope van Dyne

With a 'verse so big, there are so many awesome possibilities between these characters and their many alliances, enemies, etc. I ship a lot of the major ships (Nat/Pepper, Maria/Nat, etc.), but for this exchange, I thought I'd choose a few of my very favorite rare pairings.

Maria Hill/Sharon Carter would be interesting because they both fall into the less "super" end of the superhero spectrum. These are two human women dealing with very human issues--government corruption, figuring out who to trust and obey, shifting alliances, etc. They're both professional and devoted to their causes. I'd like to see a situation where they are finally settling into something resembling a relationship, and then, once again, the Avengers wreak havoc--and they find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict. Does logic or emotion prevail?

I pretty much ship Jane with any MCU lady, but I've yet to see her really shipped with Helen Cho. Helen Cho/Jane Foster would be the geek ship to end all geek ships--I feel like these two complete each other like Jessica Jones and Vanessa Carlysle would. They'd be so consumed by their work, but their commonalities would make them perfect companions. Fitting Jane into the Age of Ultron plot would be cool too!

If you're writing for the MCU fandom for this exchange and you have an itch to write a historical AU, I'd love a Natasha Romanov/Peggy Carter story. I've read some great comic-canon stuff with Natasha as a super-soldier like Steve who was near Peggy's age in the 1960s or so and then they get together, and I'd love to see those ideas transferred somehow to the MCU. These two were my OTP for the longest time, but I feel like I got a little discouraged due to lack of material. Femslash writers are nothing if not resourceful, so I'd be so excited to see something with these two.

As far as cracky ships go, I chose Jane Foster/Nebula, Hope van Dyne/Sharon Carter, and Christine Everhart/Hope van Dyne. Anything at all for these ships would make my year!

Star Wars Big Bang Story Outline

Hey everyone! I am currently participating in the Tumblr-run Star Wars Big Bang, and to be a writer, I need to provide a story outline for the first check-in. I am writing a medium-tier (20k to 50k words) fic that centers around a Luke Skywalker/Poe Dameron relationship that takes place before Force Awakens canon. Since I am supplying an outline, I'll put it under a cut for spoilers, just in case anyone wants to read the whole thing without this much context when I eventually post it.

This fic takes place when Poe is about seventeen years old. It crosses between his POV at his home on Yavin IV and Luke's POV where he is visiting Leia, who is currently stationed on the same planet. Poe is just discovering who he is as a person--he's young, smart, and handsome, and he enjoys hanging out with his best friend Jessika (who is about fifteen in my timeline) and working on the speeder his dad bought him. Though he's not Force-sensitive, he feels a strong connection to the Force tree in his backyard--the one gifted to the Dameron family by the famed Jedi Master, Luke Skywalker.

Luke, who is finally settling into a world without war as a Jedi Master, spends his time running the new Jedi Praxium (and reigning in his incredibly strong nephew, Ben). He has hopes for the galaxy, and he's ready to devote his life to the Force and everything it can bring him. But when he meets the son of his and Leia's old friend Shara Bey, he feels an instant connection to Poe, which isn't exactly in his plan. This fic will follow the canon events that happen before the Force Awakens and will end right before Luke's self-imposed exile. While I don't plan for it to be extremely explicit, I am aiming for a Mature rating with minimal canon-level violence, including deaths of non-canon Jedi Apprentice characters. Poe will be eighteen years old before he engages in any romantic or sexual content with Luke.

That's a general summary, and so far, I've written several sections. I've written an intro with Luke's POV where he dreams of Poe's voice and senses incoming danger, followed closely by him going with Leia to the Dameron home on Yavin IV and meeting Poe. I'm really interested in the Dameron family, and I've written extensively about their home, history, and family dynamic. I've also written a brief part between Kes and Poe that sets up their father-son dynamic, as well as a scene taking place later in the story where Kes expresses concern about Poe's growing relationship with Luke.

Much of the fic will contain tropes and fic elements involving age differences and forbidden love--it is a romance at heart, after all. Since I'm hazy on how to introduce Poe's induction into being a pilot, I am bringing in one of my favorite Original Trilogy characters, Wedge Antilles, to strike up a bond with him and strengthen his love of flying that he originally got from Shara. I also am employing Connix as an important character--she is a Force-sensitive young aid of Leia's, only a child but training with her idol, and she has a bit of a crush on Poe. Her non-canon older sister, Bannix, is one of the Jedi Apprentices killed by Ben, bringing the conflict that much closer to Poe (and causing that much more of a rift between Luke and Poe).

I do know that the fic will end on a generally unhappy note--Luke and Poe will have a romantic encounter, but before their bond is strengthened, Ben enacts his violence on the Apprentices and spurs on the events of The Force Awakens.

This is what I have for now, and I am definitely enjoying writing it! Let me know if you have any questions or if you want to suggest anything or inspire the process.

Galentine's Day 2016 Dear Author Letter

Hi there! I'm so excited for my second year doing this exchange. Last year was awesome, and I have high hopes for this one!

Here are so general fandom likes and dislikes. These can apply to everything I requested. All of these kinks go for all pairings!

For gen and friendship fics, I love serious conversations, banter, teasing, found families, hurt/comfort, wingman fics, and one woman being there for another during pregnancy. This exchange is so ideal for me, because I love complicated dynamics between female characters.

My only trigger is vomit, and I only have a few squicks--non-con/dub-con, slavery themes, whips/canes (painplay/discipline not involving those is totally fine), gags, blindfolds, and sensory deprivation. As for AU's, I'm not a fan of bodyswap, prison, or prostitution. I'm also not fans of relationships where one person is obviously into the other person way more--mutual affection is important to me. Incest is usually a squick unless otherwise stated, but non-blood "incest" relationships (like Gamora/Nebula) are totally fine with me.

Now for some specifics!

Marvel Cinematic Universe

(Jessica Jones/Trish Walker, Jessica Jones & Trish Walker, Peggy Carter/Natasha Romanov, Natasha Romanov/Sharon Carter, Laura Barton & Natasha Romanov, Darcy Lewis & Trish Walker, Maria Hill/Natasha Romanov, Gamora & Sif, Pepper Potts/Natasha Romanov, Jane Foster & Sif)

I love how different all of these women are and how their personalities play off each other's. For friendship fics, I love the idea of them talking about how they approach sexuality (ex. Jessica loves physical intimacy while Trish values an emotional connection, Darcy and Trish are both sex-positive feminists, Gamora is pansexual and Sif is a lesbian, etc.). These are just examples, but you get the idea.

Most of the fics I read for these awesome women are "heat of battle" fics...cleaning up wounds, hiding out from a baddie, banter over comms during a fight, etc. I'd love to see fics that focus on the more mundane aspect of their lives. What is Natasha's favorite ice cream flavor? What do she and Pepper do on weekends? What is Gamora's favorite thing about Terran life? What does Natasha get Laura for her baby shower? That sort of thing.

Agent Carter (TV)

(Peggy Carter/Angie Martinelli, Peggy Carter & Colleen O'Brien)

If you're comfortable writing smut, I will shamelessly request it for Angie/Peggy. I just love the dynamic between these two--Peggy is so controlled with a dry sense of humor and Angie wears her heart on her sleeve. I can just imagine the UST between these two being amazing.

As for Peggy & Colleen friendship, I'm just starving here! Any Colleen backstory would be amazing. How did she and Peggy meet? How did they become roomies? What was their friendship like? Maybe an AU where Colleen lives and learns about Peggy's job would be cool, too.

The 100 (TV)

(Octavia Blake & Indra, Clarke Griffin/Lexa)

I am relatively new to this fandom, so I haven't read a ton of fic for it. But anything about Grounder backstory/ritual/tradition would be amazing, for both Clarke/Lexa romance and Octavia & Indra mentor/mentee friendship.

Thanks for reading! Have fun!

Yuletide 2015 Letter

Hello, beautiful writer! I'm glad to be writing this and letting you know about my Yuletide 2015 preferences. Below I will outline some general things I like (all of which are applicable to any of the requests I make), a few things I'd rather not have, and a very request-specific things.

A few general things about my fandom interests: I read and write mainly femslash, with a bit of slash and a little het. Female relationships are always very interesting for me in fics--femslash, friends, sisters, mother/daughter, etc. I read from G-rated gen to E-rated smut with a lot in between. I'm a fan of poly relationships, age differences within the legal age, and queer domestic situations.

If you're feeling kinky, I love dom/sub, age differences within age of consent, sugar daddy/mommy agreements, mating/bonding rituals, consensual humiliation, dirty talk, sharing clothing, spanking, edging, and menstrual sex. All of these kinks go for all pairings!

My only trigger is vomit, and I only have a few squicks--non-con/dub-con, slavery themes, whips/canes (painplay/discipline not involving those is totally fine), gags, blindfolds, forced feminization, and sensory deprivation. As for AU's, I'm not a fan of bodyswap, prison, or prostitution. I'm also not fans of relationships where one person is obviously into the other person way more--mutual affection is important to me.

And now for some request-specific details! These are all listed in the 'optional' box on AO3 as well.

American Mary (2012)

All nominated characters

I'm interested in both character study and femslash for this fandom with any of the nominated characters. I'd love to get a bit into Ruby Realgirl's backstory, and a future fic where Mary lives would be awesome.

I also ship Beatress and Mary super hard, so anything with them would be amazing! As a huge horror fan, I have no qualms about gore or extreme violence, so if you want to play with the horror/body mod genre, go for it!

Reservoir Dogs (1992)

Mr. Orange, Mr. White

Ever since the first time I watched this movie, I shipped these two like burning. I love the idea of age differences between these two (old-school vs. modern, etc.). Anything playing with the cop/criminal dynamic would be awesome (though I'm not a fan of prison situations). Pre-canon and post-canon AU's work for me as well.

Since this is Tarantino, I would love to see experimental writing styles, timelines, and POV.

Bad Blood - Taylor Swift (Music Video)

Good lord, femslash all the way with these characters would be amazing. I especially like the idea of Justice and Luna as seasoned bad-ass women who mentor the other girls. Literally, anything with strong ladies doing awesome shit would be ideal for this fandom.

The Guest (2014)

I love playing with boundaries and limitations for this film. What if David's "programming" tells him to protect Anna and Luke at all costs instead of eradicate the threat? What if he takes them away and spends the rest of his life protecting them? What if he can't help but see them as the end-all-be-all of his existence, extending to romantic/sexual interest? What if Anna and Luke start believing him? I'm just loving a really fucked-up dynamic between these three, barring incest and non-con.

The Conjuring (2013)

Brad, Drew

Whenever these two are onscreen, I just can't help but think of Scooby-Doo. They just seem like polar opposites when it comes to seeing/experiencing/believing the paranormal, and that dynamic is always endlessly hilarious to me. A monster-of-the-week situation with these two would be awesome, as well as a date-gone-wrong situation. And even though I do ship them, snarky friendship is fine with me, too.

And like I said, these prompts are purely optional guidelines. Any of the AU/likes above would work for them, too!

Hey there! Here's a few very loose things I enjoy with any fandoms and pairings, but really, I would just love to see what you could come up with!

I enjoy all fic dynamics/pairings (slash, femslash, het, poly, etc.). Female relationships are always very interesting for me in fics--femslash, friends, sisters, mother/daughter, etc. I read and write from G-rated gen to E-rated smut with a lot in between. I read all lengths of fics but I don't normally write super long ones. I'm a fan of poly relationships, age differences, and queer domestic situations.

SFW Likes

-Historical (50's, hippies, Victorian, regency, etc.), noir, college, musician/punk, werewolf, and tattoo shop AU's

-Slow courtship/dating

-Domesticity

-Sharing clothing

-Meeting the parents/family/friends

-Playful/mild jealousy/possessive behavior

-Humor/female characters being playful/silly/funny with each other

-Female friendships on the side, especially between characters we wouldn't expect to be friends

-Proposals and weddings

-Pregnancy and new parenthood (mpreg included)

-Bubble baths, spa days, and pampering
-Playing up height/size differences
-Playing up age differences (within age of consent)

NSFW likes

-Dom/sub (kneeling, punishment play, obedience play, holding wrists down during sex)

-Sugar daddy/mommy arrangements

-Dirty talk/consensual verbal humiliation

-Spanking

-Pet names during sex (sweetheart, baby, etc.)

-Edging

-Sex while menstruating

-Consensual "voyeurism" (Skye sex, stripteases, watching the other masturbate, etc.)

-PDA with marks of possession (hickeys, etc.)

-Anal and Vaginal fisting

-Anal play (rimming, beads, plugs, etc.)

-Not wearing underwear
-Mating/bonding/courtship rituals (including A/B/O)

Many of my fandoms involve child and teen characters. I think shipping younger characters is just fine--queer kids deserve their first crushes and first loves, and I enjoy exploring those dynamics. However, I only really enjoy NSFW/explicit content for adult characters or aged-up characters. So go forth with your college/adult AU stories!

My only trigger is vomit, and I only have a few squicks

-Non-con/dub-con as porn (inclusion as a non-sexy fic element doesn't bother me)
-Slavery themes (roleplaying and otherwise)
-Whips/canes (painplay/discipline not involving those is totally fine)
-Sensory deprivation like gags or blindfolds
-Forced feminization
-Squirting
-AU's I don't really like: Bodyswap, soul mates, prison, and prostitution.
-Relationships where one person is obviously into the other person way more--mutual affection is important to me.
-G!P/futa stories, but that does not include stories with canon/non-canon trans ladies. Just the whole "futa" idea doesn't do much for me.

In terms of writing mechanics, I love experimental and epistolary works. I don't care for First Person POV or works with little or no dialogue.

Thank you for writing for me!

Galentine's Day Dear Author Letter

Hey there, writer! I'm looking forward to seeing what you can come up with, and I would like to say that these prompts are very loose and can be interpreted in many ways--I'm sure I'll love whatever you come up with!

1) I would love something either shippy Brienne/Catelyn or gen Brienne & Catelyn taking care of Sansa in some way...it can be canon era with Brienne caring for her Lady's daughter, or an AU of any kind (same-sex parenting, nanny AU, teacher/parent, etc.), literally anything with Brienne and Catelyn watching after Sansa.

2) I pretty much listed all consenting-age female Gotham characters for this prompt because I love them all equally...what I would really like to read is something about power-plays. Dom/sub, kidnapping, social ladders, age differences, etc. Any character combination is fine, any rating, femslash or gen, no restrictions. Just nothing with Selina or Ivy--I'm too protective over them! Note: Kristen Kringle and Sarah Essen could not be listed as characters, but they are included as well.

3) Put Abbie, Jenny, and Katrina in a monster-of-the-week situation together, no men allowed, just these three solving crimes and kicking ass. Shipping Katrina with either of the sisters would be totally fine, but I'm not a fan of incest.

4) This prompt is very open to interpretation as well, with only two caveats: One, it has to have Beth and Angie together in any way you see fit, and two, it has to be pre-canon (obviously). I just really wish we got to see more of their dynamic. Gen or shipping are both fine.

5) This may be a weirdly specific request, and it is obviously a wild card, but I'm so invested in Lila and Rebecca's pre-canon relationship, and the color pink really just fits them for me for some reason. So something that somehow includes pink. I really ship these two, but if femslash doesn't work for your idea, gen is fine as well.

6) This is one prompt I'd love to see some female friendship/mentor relationships with. Kate is such a complex character and so is Natasha in different ways, and I'd love to see them interact with one another more. Maybe Kate trusts Natasha with the secret of her assault, or she tells Natasha something she feels she can't tell Clint. I would just love seeing these two together.

I have very few squicks or triggers, but here are a few things I'd rather go without in my gift:
-Bodyswap
-Genderswap/Rule 63
-Prostitution
-Prison AU (anything that has to do with prison, actually)
-Choking/asphyxiation/breathplay
-Gags/blindfolds/sensory deprivation

I’m sorry if this is getting out a little past prime…I’m ashamed to say that though I’m a veteran fic reader and writer, I have not participated in exchanges or fests much, so I’m a little slow.

Some general things—when it comes to femslash, I love it all. Angst, fluff, domestic, dark, smut, anything. I, like anyone, have preferences and things I don’t care much for (which I’ll outline soon), but I’m extremely open about my femslash. I love seeing my fellow femslash writers follow their muse and write what they love to write.

That being said, here are a few things I adore, not fandom specific: Alternate universes of all kinds (noir, college, musician, historical, etc.), long courtships, chaste romances, bonding rituals, age differences (no underage, though), and dom/sub to all elements (emotional, lifestyle, scene, etc.).

Here are a few things I don’t normally gravitate to (but the only hard limits I have in fics are vomit and watersports): Bodyswap, prostitution, prison AU, non-con, slavery themes, choking or breathplay, and sensory deprivation. I’m also not a fan of incest, but I believe it can be done well. In the end, both these and my preferences are just guidelines.

Now, some prompt-specific things. I added a few notes on AO3 for Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Disney Princesses, nothing too specific. I left Hannibal, Teen Wolf, and MCU totally open because due to the themes of the media, I’m interested in all interpretations of those pairings and will read whatever (except for my two hard limits).

I do have to make a clarification for Once Upon a Time, though. I will say this in bold—any and all pairings are welcome. I love this fandom and every female character. However, in my notes I did say I prefer no incest, which isn't quite fair because I know it leaves out some popular ships. This is not a hard limit for me at all—the thing is, I’ve been cautious about it in the past, but I do believe that especially in this fandom it can work. That’s why I didn’t leave any pairings out. That being said, I have no pairing-specific prompts or suggestions, I just want to read what you love to write.

Thanks so much, I can't wait to read and write!
