Kindness begets kindness. Andrew Sniderman, whom I have never met, is on my short list of guys I want to chat with over coffee, beer or both. He expressed admiration for people who draw well and in return, well ... I just like hanging with people who are smarter than me.
Brian gets it right. People are busy and appreciate efficiently written posts. I look forward to his weekly Monday commentary the subject of which is always a surprise. In a good way!
Where do I start? I am a longtime fan and subscriber to Brad Guigar and Dave Kellett's Comic Lab podcast, which is chock full of good business advice and humor, but THIS subscription is a "must have" for cartoonists and even writers looking to gain traction on the Substack platform. Subscribe to it! You won't be disappointed!
I don't have enough superlatives to describe the prolificness (but there's one) and magnanimousness (and there's another) of Mr. Brad Guigar, a.k.a. Mr Duzzitall. Evil Inc. is where Brad puts it all together. He writes and illustrates a top flight example of how great a webcomic can be.
This is a no-brainer of a recommendation and since I have no brains, I am recommending it. Tom's prolific output is something to behold. I used to find such quality production intimidating, but now I find it inspiring. So much so that I finally bought his book https://www.tomrichmond.com/product/the-mad-art-of-caricature/. It is an unbelievable bargain for the price. Take it from this boomer - you're never too old to learn something new. OK?
The landscape is full of wonderfully talented editorial cartoonists. I find most of them to exhibit unique looks as distinct as the personalities behind them. Then are are some that are just plain FUN to look at even before I get the message. Graeme is one of them. His creative cacophonies of color stand out from the pack Take a look, it's a feast for the eyes.
