Franklin Elementary is a bilingual school where students learn in English and Spanish while building strong academic and social skills. We offer reading, writing, math, and hands-on learning in both languages, along with daily support for student well-being. Teachers partner with families and create a school culture rooted in respect and care. As part of OUSD, we prepare students to succeed and feel proud of their language and identity.

As we head into the winter holiday break, I invite us all to slow down, recharge, and embrace the peace this season can bring. I know this isn’t an easy time for our district as we continue to make difficult decisions about our budget, and many of us are still processing recent tragedy in our city.
