Canon Point:
Post-Episode II, but before he became a Testament. This is essentially to tone down his insanity a bit, as it's implied that his death in Episode II has reigned him in to a reasonable degree and especially tune back the more rapey overtones this character had in the first game. It is not my goal to make players uncomfortable or triggered nor do I want to make myself uncomfortable, especially since Albedo has the potential to be a very triggery character in canon. It'd be a good reason IC and OOC to pick him up after his mind is cleansed of U-DO's corruption. He's still a horrible bastard, though. :V

August 6th, Leo. No canon birthdate; pegged him as a Leo as it fits his personality best -- he's arrogant, childish, lazy, pretentious, brutally honest... basically every negative trait listed. :P

Tattoo:
A Leo symbol on the nape of his neck, approximately two inches wide and three inches tall.

Suitability:
Albedo would get along quite well in this setting, as he is a perverse and charismatic creature who revels in raw physical contact, power games, and of course, mountains of kinky sex. He is nonmonogamous and hardly one to turn away the prospect of a good lay or participation in group sex (not to mention his open mind for oddball kinks, having a few of his own), making him an ideal candidate for worship. Also of note, with his regeneration and extreme masochistic tendencies, he'd be a great playmate for the more sadistic residents of Zodion... :X

Power:
Regeneration. When Albedo was created, he was among four variant URTVs with special abilities -- and similar to his twin brother that can control his aging, Albedo was genetically modified for immortality in the form of complete, perfect cell regeneration -- his DNA is encoded with infinite telomeres that do not shorten when the cells split in his body, enabling lost parts to grow back completely. Thus, he is capable of regenerating <i>any limb.</i> This includes his head, as there are multiple instances in-game where he has either ripped off or blown off his head and grew it back within seconds, much to the horror of those present. There has even been an instance where he was shown regenerating from getting blown into mere particles, albeit with the help of the local behind-the-scenes demigod and his Testaments speeding along the process.
That said, he's still capable of being incapacitated if need be and charring the wound site will slow down his regeneration a little. He can also control his regeneration and when he regenerates, so for example if someone really wanted to amputate all his limbs and have him walk around on his stumps like some terrible puppy for a few hours, they could without worrying about his arms growing back (until he gets bored, of course).

Obviously, as this is biologically encoded into him, he cannot extend his healing to other people, only himself.

Personality:
Although Albedo exhibited extreme psychosis in the past, since his death he has become more or less at peace with himself and cleansed of U-DO's contamination of his mind. He's still not perfectly sane, of course, as he isn't about to go stalking little girls (not that he really can in Zodion, for lack of underage girls period), but he does tend to display rather eccentric behavior patterns. He is very predatory and unpredictable, and at the core more animal than man -- a civilized monster, if you will.

Albedo is learned and intellectual. Through his contact with U-DO he obtained vast stores of information that would not be readily available to others in his universe, as book reading long since fell out of fashion and became obsolete. Held within his head are untold amounts of historical knowledge, cultural expertise, understanding of philosophical movements, world religions, dead languages... he would make a good professor of the humanities for all that he knows, were he not such a sociopath in his waking life. At first such knowledge was overwhelming to the young URTV, which pushed him over the edge and sent his psyche rolling downhill at breakneck speeds, but over the years he began to unravel and analyze the organized chaos in his mind, quoting dead philosophers and referring to songs that hadn't been heard in thousands of years that nobody would know about unless they actually went looking for it. On top of this, Albedo is very curious and enjoys learning everything -- learning about those around him to play off their fears, things that make them angry, things that bother them in order to turn that back around on them (in other words: he's a troll who enjoys goading people into reacting negatively towards him because he gets amusement from it). He's quietly analytical and calculating -- he will listen to your problems, he will tell you what your problems are, but he won't tell you how to fix them. He has an interest in those around him, especially others like him that show a degree of madness or sadism and are able to hold a conversation with him.

The URTV shows a degree of playful confidence, much like the way a cat would play with its food. Harking back to his curiosity about the world, he gets amusement out of poking people and things until he's satisfied and this extends into his sex life as well -- he loves power games, battles for dominance and submission, and the thrill of exerting his will over someone else (or vice versa!) in the bedroom. He also has a bit of a tendency to claw up the scenery, metaphorically rolling all over your newspaper or jumping up desk demanding attention, and is very grumpy and indignant over any (admittedly brave) displays of affection directed towards him. He's more likely to be attracted to someone who DOESN'T want him around, but gives in to his dubious charms anyway -- he prefers a challenge over someone who will throw herself at him ass-first, although he knows that's not without its fun, either.

Although Albedo is hardly monogamous (he'd long given up on the concept of romance as he did not want to open himself up to more heartbreak when he inevitably outlived his partner), he is very clingy and possessive over those he considers 'his.' He gets jealous easily, and when he notices a partner giving someone else more attention than he, he gets upset. Really, really upset. Wibbly, angry levels of upset as he begins to yowl for that person to notice him again and remind them that he's still there. And while this can and likely will be offputting to the other person, getting rid of Albedo is like getting rid of a case of herpes and he'll come waltz his way back into that person's life whether he is wanted or not. The gods may have to invent restraining orders just for him. 8|

In a nutshell: Clingy, creepy dude with a god complex who behaves more like a cat in a man's body than anything.

"Zodionlogs" Third-Person Prose Entry:
When Albedo first cracks open his eyes since his demise, it's not the bleakness of space greeting him but warmth and sunlight and the feel of soil and grass beneath his fingers as he lays face-down on the earth, along with the dull ache of something just at the base of his neck. When he comes to, he is alone, and not even the Kirschwassers that carried him off had been with him. He sits up, shielding his eyes from the bright light to get a good look at his surroundings -- a temple courtyard, stylistically reminiscent of the ancient Greeks of Lost Jerusalem -- albeit not in ruins, given how well-kept the area is.
Albedo rises to his feet, dusting off his skin and-- it dawns on him that he is completely naked, as though he were born anew in this slice of temporal anomaly. Well, that's interesting. It's certainly not the first time Albedo's returned to consciousness wearing nothing but what Yuriev gave him the day he was cloned, to say nothing of his habits when he didn't care what U-TIC thought. His violet eyes catch sight of an altar in the middle of the ring, with a chest perched tantalizingly on top, as though begging him to come over and open it. It's-- well, tempting to say the least! The URTV takes a confident stride towards the center, and as he walks, the wall of mirror-like water begins to well up around him, the pain at the base of his neck now <i>burning</i> and making itself known to him.
The water is enough of a distraction that he halts his approach towards the box, narrowing his eyes suspiciously at his reflection. Yes, he gets it, he's not wearing anything and this is getting kind of silly and -- since when did the back of his neck glow? He reaches behind his head, pressing his fingertips to the area where his skin burnt so, comically wheeling in circles like a cat with tape on its back trying to get at whatever's bothering him before he stops and catches a glimpse of what he recognized as a Zodiac symbol branded into his skin -- the sign of Leo -- in his reflection in the water.
"...Oh." He stares at himself in the mirror-like surface, patting the sign as the pain begins to subside and the water returns to its dormant state. Where'd that come from, anyway?

Please keep Albedo's canon point in mind when providing crit: He is taken from AFTER his death in Episode II, but BEFORE he becomes a Testament. For clarification purposes: He is NO LONGER TAINTED BY U-DO and therefore relatively sane and mellowed out, but does not possess the godmode Testament powers nor would he have experienced being a Testament, so he would presumably act more human than as seen before.
