My desktop is officially on it's last legs which means I am moving my games and what have you to my school laptop which is either a really good thing or a really bad thing, I have yet to decide. It does mean that my day off has turned into an backing up and installing day.

So far the backing up is done and the installing has just started.

Upon his death, Lord William Grayson willed several thousand acres of uninhabited wilderness to a research team at Sim State University. The donation came with a few specific instructions, the jist of which was the research team would be in charge of selecting nine sims to settle the donated land as part of a social and cultural experiment called 'Looserock Bay'.

Gamma Solarus was never one for adventure, in fact, she really wanted nothing to do with the Looserock Bay Project. She joined the project because it seemed to be a reasonable excuse to escape from a rather large mess in her apartment complex that sprung up via her love of being in love and her indiscriminate making of said love. Problems are bound to arise with the project and there's no telling if her 'gotta woo hoo the whole lot' ways will be at the center of any of those problems. Especially since she was chosen as the de facto leader of the bunch.

The driving force between the three life long friends choosing to partake in an adventure like the Looserock Bay project was Jake Green. Having just suffered a broken heart when his high school sweetheart and fiance left him for another guy, Evan Worthen and Milo Moore weren't about to let their friend go into the wilds alone, especially since they didn't have anything better going on. So the three filled out their application and were much to their surprise selected. The question becomes, will the stress of trying to survive in a new town make or break their friendships?

Crescent Moon always played on the edges of society. She grew up with her grandmother in a small house on a lake, miles from the nearest town. Next to this small house was the Grimes' family cottage that would only be occupied during the summers, it was in these brief yearly trips that Crescent befriended the family that would take her in after her grandmother died. As teens, Seth fell hard for her and she didn't notice his adoration coming her way. The minute Crescent heard about the Looserock Bay project she knew she wanted to go and Seth wasn't about to let her go alone. Will Crescent be able to find peace on being out the edges of society again? Will she ever notice Seth's advances?

The Odeur sisters have always enjoyed attention and being surrounded by other sims, they just differ on the variety of attention they receive. Big sister, Jasmine, is the first to offer a friendly hand and joke, while shy she does her best to be everyone's friend. Little sister, Lavender, is the first to flirt with any man with a pulse and isn't shy about telling them how it is when it comes to keeping her attention. They joined the Looserock Bay as a pair, the question remains how long will their similarity keep them together or will their differences drive them apart?

Always called an odd little man, Parmesan Flavell joined the Looserock Bay project after his mother passed away. His dream of being a scientist seemed distant and far away without his mother and the project seemed like something it could be a new place, a new start and maybe he will be able to find his passion for science once again.

	Crescent Moon Wealth + Pleasure Wants to earn 100,000 simoleons. Has a thing for unemployed werewolves. Isn't a fan of facial hair. Is sloppy, outgoing, active, serious & nice.		Seth Grimes Knowledge + Romance Wants to max out seven skills. Has a thing for redheaded vampires. Isn't a fan of chubby sims. Is sloppy, shy, lazy, serious & nice.
	Jasmine Odeur Popularity Wants to have twenty best friends at the same time. Has a thing for athletic robots. Isn't a fan of black hair. Is neat, shy, lazy, serious & nice.		Lavender Odeur Romance + Wealth Wants to have twenty lovers at the same time. Has a thing for charismatic sims in swimwear. Isn't a fan of chubby sims. Is neat, shy, active, playful & nice.

It's been an excessively long time since I used this journal and I am attempting to jump back into the Sims community full on - well full on now that I have a month of only work since finals are finished and I am on winter break as of an hour ago.

Anywhosit. Since playing 'The Evers' which has been deleted because the hard drive it was on had a fit and refuses to let me have anything off of it. And the game I was playing is lost to a worm my computer picked up playing in the dirty back alleys of the internet - I am starting fresh and from square one.

As a result, I am attempting to put together a pixel-trade BACC and legacy which at the moment is mostly me wading through so many pretties from PT, finding CC and trying to remember which stuff I absolutely loved need to replace. I will likely be having a handful of preview shots of the Legacy coming up in the next couple of days, as I have the founder all ready to go - just have to decide on the last name and the play style I am going to attempt.

EDIT : Did a little photoshoot with my new legacy sim... therefore new banner and default icon time.
