Everytime I hop on here, it's always different. Granted, I only come on here once in a blue moon nowdays, but whatever, lol.

Looking at this journal provides a lot of nostalgia and I didn't even realize that I've been on here for my entire adult life, that's weird to me for some reason, lol. I made my first account in late 2003 and I was 17 going on 18 then.

I'm sure I'll do a long ramble-y post at some point, but not now because I'm not in the mood to get into that.:P

So, I think I can say that this year has been the worst so far. Sandy passed away sometime during the night. That is 4 cats lost in just one year. I'm extremely heartbroken. I was hoping there wouldn't be another loss soon, but alas. This year has been one gut punch after another, but I'm trying to hold on as best as I can, as difficult as it may be sometimes.

So, this year has been pretty crappy so far. Luna had to be put down today and I am heartbroken. It's really hard to lose 3 kitties in a year and also within a few months of each other. Things have just been really hard and overwhelming lately.

At the beginning of March Chilly Willy passed away from a stroke and then just a few days ago her sister, Erika, passed away from cancer. So, within a month two kitties were gone and that is really difficult to process. They were both 20 years old, but those 20 years seemed to just fly by so fast. I still remember the day they were born along with their brother, who passed away a few years ago. This is the only downside to having pets, because it's just so hard to say goodbye to them when that time comes. It's just so weird that they're no longer around. The house does feel emptier without them. There are only 4 kitties left now and they're all seniors, too. So I'm hoping they'll be around for a little longer, but who knows.

So my weight loss has been going pretty well so far, which I'm pretty surprised by. I've been eating kinda badly this past week, but still managed to lose almost 2lbs. I'm hoping to be 100lbs lighter by mid March, I hope I can do it. I only have 13 lbs to go before I've lost 100lbs, that's amazing to me. I've already lost almost 86lbs now. I can't believe it. This is the first time in my life that my weight loss has actually been successful. I'm just hoping I'll be able to keep it off for a long, long time. I think what I'm doing is sustainable for life, so I shouldn't relapse and gain it all back. But it is hard when you have a food addiction like I do, so it's like a constant fight between myself. I'm confident I'll win, though. :)

Yesterday I took a few full body pictures and I was shocked to see how small I have gotten. I really couldn't believe it, lol. I have come a very long way from where I was in July. I'm going to try my best to get to my goal weight by the end of this year, if I did that I'd be so happy. I already feel very proud of myself. :)

I'll be 30 in a few weeks, how crazy is that? Time feels like it's just flying by and that scares me, haha. I never thought I'd get to 30, to be honest. I certainly don't feel like it, which is probably bad.

On Sunday I had to say goodbye to another of my cats. He was around 18/19 years old. I miss him like crazy. Right now things feel like a really bad dream.

I haven't posted here in forever, so I decided to update this thing since I'm bored anyway. My cat is doing a lot better, it seems she had a sinus infection, but it't all cleared up now. She's back to being herself, there's still a few things she doesn't do anymore, though. For instance, she would always jump on my lap when I'm on the computer. She acts like she wants to do it, but she can't quite seem to do it. Makes me a bit sad. But I'm glad she's okay.

Nothing really exciting has been going on so far, just kinda 'blah' lately. Not sure what else to say, I guess I'm done for now.

I'm extremely, extremely upset. One of the cats is very sick and we don't know what is wrong with her. I googled her symptoms and it could be a lot of things. We noticed her acting strange on Christmas Eve evening, so it was too late to take her to the vets then. She seems to be getting worse today. Not sure if any vets will be open the day after Christmas, but we're hoping there are. There doesn't seem to be any emergency vets in our area, either. :\

Basically she is stumbling when she walks, sometimes she'll stop and turn in a circle or just stop for a few seconds and continue to walk. She'll eat food when we put it in front of her, but she won't drink water or cat milk, so we have to give the liquids to her by syringe. She'll also roam around aimlessly throughout the livingroom and walks close to walls, the couch and even the other cats.

I'm so scared and worried, because it seems serious. I hope some vet is open today. I really don't want to lose her. :'(

I wish my life were more interesting so that I would have stuff to post about, but unfortunately it's not. But I'm still alive. I guess things just have been kinda 'blah' lately. I want to get back into using this thing, so I'm just going to ramble on about whatever.

I remember when LJ used to be really fun and exciting, well maybe exciting isn't the correct word exactly. But I do miss having random convos with people on my friends list whenever I'd make a post or they'd make a post. It's weird that a lot of them don't seem to be around anymore. I guess that's how online friendships tend to go. I still miss the people I knew from when I was around 14/15. I used to make random (crappy) websites back then, those were some interesting times. I've been thinking about re-teaching myself HTML again and get back into that stuff. When I was younger, I wanted to do that as a career. Depressing to think about how if I had pursued it back then, maybe I'd be doing that now. It feels like I've wasted my life.

Now everything is just... quiet. I guess with Facebook and Twitter, things have changed. I wonder what the next big social media thing will be in 5, 10 or even 15 years from now. When I first joined LJ I thought it was super awesome and met some great people. Now it's kinda dead, at least from my POV. I've been a bit of anti-social online the past few years, as dumb as that sounds. ha

Despite life being 'blah', things have been... okay. I'm surviving and that's the important thing.

Ugh, why do people pull crap and then completely blame it all on you?

Years ago someone I was friends with online randomly stopped talking to me. We played WoW together and then one day he had transferred off the server and wouldn't reply to my e-mails. A year after this, he contacted me and totally blamed ME and asking me why *I* didn't keep in touch anymore. I had sent him multiple e-mails after he transferred off the server in WoW, with no reply from him, so I gave up. I told him this and he basically he "I don't remember it happening that way". Ugh..

Now, this has happened again with a different person, who I had known for many years online. We added each other on Facebook in Summer of last year, chatted quite often and kept in touch. In october of last year, he took me off Facebook with no warning. And now he's got in contact with me again on there, asking me why *I* took from off. Wtf.

Why do people pull this crap? I don't understand it at all. I just can't stand when people blame me for their stupid actions and try to make me seem like I'm a bad person. :\

I went to the Doctor yesterday and got my blood test results back. My iron levels were low, not low enough to be anemic, but still pretty low. So I got some iron pills and hopefully those will help. I'm also taking some meds for my stomach and those, plus the iron pills really give me bad gassy pains and it sucks. But I guess it's worth it if it'll make me feel better. Not sure how long it'll take before I start feeling better, I hope it doesn't take too long. Still been feeling really crappy. Dizzy and light headed and my heart is still really poundy. My body hates me.

The results from the Holter Moniter I had to wear should be coming back in a week or two.

So yeah, not much else to say I guess.

So I had the blood test and ECG done, haven't got the blood results yet, but I got the ECG. Everything looked normal, except my heart rate was way high, it was 105. So I have to wear this thing called a Holter Moniter and then write down everything I do in a little diary thing. It's not uncomfortable to wear, but it's kind of annoying. I feel like I have to be careful with every move I make and I know sleeping will be a bit annoying. But I get it taken off tomorrow morning, so I'm looking forward to that.

Hopefully I'll get my other results soon. My Doctor thinks it's iron deficiency and that would kinda make sense. I felt absolutely terrible the other night. I felt so weak and my heart was hammering. It really sucks. This is the sickest I've been in a while. Hopefully it'll only be the iron thing and not anything else.

On Tuesday I had some blood tests done and yesterday I went to the Doctor (finally!) and the results came back clear. They mainly tested for gall stones and thyroid. However, he thinks I maybe be iron deficient, so I have to get more blood tests done on Monday. Also have to get an ECG done. I've been feeling pretty terrible lately, so I hope whatever is wrong can be fixed. I've been pretty worried about it too, which probably isn't helping much, I'm trying not to worry, though. My body hates me. :\

I had kind of an annoying day today. Worked outside for most of the morning and a bit of the afternoon. By the porch stairs there was some overgrown bush, so I decided to clip it down a bit. I saw bits of fur, I couldn't really tell what kind of animal it was from (I knew it wasn't from the bunnies though) and as I kept clipping and the weird smell we had been noticing for the past few days kept getting stronger and it turns out it was part of a dead cat. :( I have no idea what it got there or how long it had been there, but it was really depressing to see, considering I love cats so much. I went and buried what I saw the best I could.

Now I'm kinda scared to continue cleaning out around there. I really don't want to find any else like that.

I haven't written in here in over a month, so I decided I'm bored enough to do make an entry, although it won't be exciting. lol

So for the past 2 weeks half of the house has been without power. The circuit thing blew, thus knocking out the power to the important, necessary things, such as the oven, microwave, bathroom (which includes washer & dryer). Not only that, but it also knocked out the hot water heater, so we've been without proper hot water. Having sponge baths and washing my hair in the sink with water I have to heat up by the kettle, is not fun. We've pretty much been relying on our Wok to cook things, which is a pain. We've been calling around to get someone to fix it, but it seems all the electricians in the area are busy. We bought a new circuit board, but the installation will be expensive. I reallllly hope this gets fixed soon, because I am really, really dying for a proper hot shower.

So yeah, things haven't been too fun lately.

This afternoon our oldest cat was put to sleep. The vet told my mom he had a big ball of cancer in his stomach. My guess is he probably wouldn't have made the night. I just feel extremely lost and empty inside. I love and miss him so much. They took him in at around 1PM, but it's now just starting to sink in. It just doesn't feel real. He was the first cat we ever owned and having him helped me get over my phobia of cats. He was so loving and totally laid back. He wasn't shy or scared of strangers; he loved everybody. He was so adorable, too. I know he's in a better place and free of pain and suffering, but I wish he were still here.

I'm also sad because it's a reminder that all of our cats will eventually die and that really kills me. I'm just not good at handling with situations like this. We had two cats pass away almost 10 years ago and I still cry and feel sad over it.

I just wish good things would happen for once.

I'm one of those people who tends to push people away. I say shit that I don't always mean in the long run. I think I push people away (sometimes consciously and sometimes not), because I feel in the end they'll be out of my life, so instead of them leaving and abandoning me, I try to prevent that by pushing them away. Doing so makes me feel a million times lonelier and depressed. I tend to take my unhappiness out on others when I'm feeling really bad and I don't always mean the hurtful things I can say. This doesn't happen all the time, but it seems to be happening more and more lately. I've been hurting pretty bad lately and I really think I am beyond repair. A part of me is just tired and has pretty much given up on having/keeping friends. I've realized I'm a horrible, horrible friend and that's why I'm going to end up alone forever.

I have to go to the Doctor tomorrow for a flu shot. I am not really looking forward to it. It's not really the needle I'm worried about, I just dislike being anywhere near doctors. I don't know. I'm weird, I guess. This entry is pointless, I'm just stalling because I don't really want to do house work. -___-
