1. About KnockBlock

KnockBlock is a homeowner solicitation protection and contractor verification platform operated by Hawk Ventures LLC ("KnockBlock," "we," "us," or "our"), accessible at knockblock.net and founders.knockblock.net. KnockBlock is patent pending under Application #63/999,226.

2. Eligibility

To use KnockBlock, you must be at least 18 years of age, a legal resident of the United States, and have the legal authority to register the property address provided. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

3. Founder Membership Terms

The KnockBlock Founder Program offers early access memberships at a locked founding rate. By purchasing a founder membership, you understand and agree to the following:

• Homeowner Founder memberships are limited to 2,500 total spots
• Contractor Founder memberships are limited to 200 total spots
• Your founding rate ($99/year for homeowners, $150/year for contractors) is locked for the life of your continuous active membership
• The platform is in pre-launch phase — full features will be available approximately 60 days from your purchase date
• Your physical sign will ship approximately 6 weeks from your purchase date
• Founder memberships are non-transferable to another individual
• Your locked rate applies only while your membership remains active and in good standing

4. Payments and Billing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize KnockBlock to charge your payment method for the membership amount stated at checkout.

• Founder memberships are billed annually
• Your founding rate will not increase as long as your membership remains active and current
• If your payment fails and is not resolved within 30 days, your membership and locked founder rate may be forfeited
• All prices are in US dollars (USD)
• Receipts are delivered to the email address provided at checkout

5. Refund Policy

We stand behind KnockBlock. If you are unsatisfied with your membership for any reason within 30 days of purchase, contact us at [email protected] for a full refund. After 30 days, memberships are non-refundable.

7. Homeowner Responsibilities

As a KnockBlock homeowner member, you agree to:

• Provide an accurate property address for sign shipment and protection registration
• Display your KnockBlock sign in a visible location at your property entrance
• Use the platform's reporting tools honestly and in good faith
• Not submit false, misleading, or malicious reports against contractors
• Keep your account information current and accurate
• Not reproduce or transfer your unique QR code to any other sign or surface

8. Contractor Responsibilities

As a KnockBlock contractor member, you agree to:

• Provide accurate business, licensing, and insurance information
• Respect all KnockBlock-protected properties and their registered preferences
• Scan the QR code and use the platform before making contact with any KnockBlock-protected homeowner
• Adhere to the KnockBlock Contractor Code of Conduct
• Not contact homeowners outside of platform-approved channels without explicit consent
• Maintain valid licensing and insurance throughout the duration of your membership

9. Accountability System

KnockBlock operates a public accountability system for contractors who violate platform rules or ignore protected homeowner signs. All users acknowledge and agree that:

• Verified violations may result in a contractor's business name being added to our public accountability database
• Repeat violations may result in public posting on KnockBlock's social media channels
• All accountability actions are based on documented evidence submitted by homeowners
• Contractors have the right to formally dispute any report through our dispute resolution process
• KnockBlock is not liable for business impact resulting from legitimate accountability actions taken in accordance with these terms

10. Sign Ownership and Portability

Your KnockBlock sign and its unique QR code are licensed to you for personal use at your registered property. You may not reproduce, copy, or transfer the QR code to another sign or surface. Your sign is portable — if you move, update your address in your account and your QR token and protection transfer to your new address automatically.

11. Limitation of Liability

KnockBlock provides tools and technology to assist homeowners in managing solicitation. We do not guarantee contractor compliance with your sign or platform preferences, and we are not responsible for the actions of third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KnockBlock and Hawk Ventures LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to property damage, personal injury, or financial loss resulting from contractor interactions.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for your membership in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Intellectual Property

All content, technology, branding, and materials on the KnockBlock platform are the property of Hawk Ventures LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including our pending patent (Application #63/999,226). You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any KnockBlock content without express written permission.

13. Account Termination

KnockBlock reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms of Service, engages in fraudulent activity, or submits false reports. Terminated accounts are not eligible for a refund of the current membership period. Contractor accounts found to have violated platform rules will be removed from the verified directory immediately upon termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Texas.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
