Basic moving head controll

Hello,

I work with the Elation Emulation Software.
I have 30 moving heads and want to control a Live Show

before I bought this software I have worked with grandMA on PC
Now I have a basic question.

Is it possible to put single DMX Channels on the go Buttons/Fader?

Example:
I choose with button 1 on bank 1 a group of Moving light.
With a second button I configure the position of the lights.
The third button is for the color.... and so on.

Hey Nikolaus

Yes, with Elation Emulation, you can assign individual DMX channel values or presets (like position, color, gobo, etc.) to different buttons or faders using Cueists or Executors. It's a bit different from grandma but very doable once you map your cues correctly.

Just make sure your fixtures are patched properly and grouped as needed. Happy programming
