Hi everyone. I just wanted to let everyone know that Julia is in the hospital, and will be having minor surgery tonight here in Fredericton to remove her gall bladder. We were returning from Hazel's show in Halifax and got almost all the way home when she started to feel bad, so we took her to the hospital early this morning. No need to be too worried; this is a relatively minor procedure (20 mins.)and gall bladder operations are very common. Julia is in good spirits (as am I, other than being horribly tired) and she will be back home (i.e. at her dad's place) tomorrow. We don't think this rather nasty turn of events is going to affect our plans to return home this weekend, although we might be staying a couple of days extra if she needs a little more time to recover.

Rob - if you were looking for us at all today, this is obviously where we were.
Hilary - we have no idea yet whether we'll be able to come to the barbeque.
Peter - hope you haven't killed all our plants. How's your count now?
