Hi ho, hi ho
Off on our 2-week vacation today. We're going down to New Hampshire to stay at a cottage with many of Julia's relatives over the weekend, then her dad's going to drive us to F'ton. I suspect we will go up to Blackville for a day or so (woo-hoo ;). We will also be going to Halifax for Witch Hazel's show, which should be cool, if we can find our way around the city. But for me, this is mostly a working holiday, and I'm carting a bunch of stuff so I can do some serious work on my thesis while we're away.
We have asked Peter to look in on the apartment and water the plants every few days, because we suspect he's the least likely of our friends to hold a wild party in our absence. Fortunately, our plants seem to be pretty hardy, and it's pretty rainy anyway, so all should be fine. We will be back on the 17th, I think. During our absence, I will have e-mail and internet access, so I may update the LJ. Then again, maybe not. Bye!
