Itinerary musings

For the past week, I've basically kept my work to a minimum as a sort of vacation. Not that we went anywhere, but by that definition, my last 'vacation' was rushing around to a funeral, so I'll take this vacation any day. So, indeed, Witch Hazel was up visiting until Friday night, and then John's wedding was on Saturday, so it was a given that I wouldn't be too busy on the work front. Over the weekend, I've been reading Douglas Hofstadter's Le ton beau de Marot, which is really quite excellent, and which I'm planning to foist on various friends. But starting tomorrow, it's back to work I go, in a (probably futile) effort to finish another chapter before leaving (on a real vacation, this time) for a week or so at the beginning of August.
