I guess he must trust me

Someone just sent an e-mail inquiry after finding my web site, asking if I knew a word meaning 'to win by fighting'. He then gave me his e-mail and explained that the reason he wanted to know the word was because it was his password, about which he had forgotten everything except the word's meaning. Now, I don't know about you, but I think you'd have to be pretty trusting of a complete stranger online to give him (me) a very good idea of what your password is, along with your name, e-mail and country of origin. I mean, I admit I'd have to go to a lot of effort to actually do anything with this information, with no guarantee that I could do anything useful, but even so: why would he even TELL me that it was his password? It's not like I, the word guy, would need that information to answer his question. Ah well, I guess that anyone who would pick (I suspect) a simple English word as a password, then forget that word, then ask strangers on the Internet what his password might be, deserves whatever he gets.
