The CEE Graduate Application Assistance Program (GAAP) is
a volunteer-based student mentoring program that aims to assist SM/PhD program applicants from groups underrepresented in STEM and students with non-traditional academic backgrounds.
Participants will be paired with a current graduate student in CEE who can answer questions about the department and provide assistance in preparing a strong application. Participating in GAAP is completely voluntary and will not affect your graduate admissions decision. We are unable to evaluate your chances of admission.
Please feel free to reach out to us at cee-gaap@mit.edu with any questions about this program.
If you have questions about admissions requirements, please first check the graduate application FAQs, and then reach out to cee-admissions@mit.edu. We are unable to advise you on admissions requirements. Questions about admissions requirements will not receive a response.
You will receive a copy of your responses to this form. You may edit your responses after submission. Do not submit this form more than once.
UPDATE AS OF SEPT. 27:
This program is now full. Responses to this form will continue to be accepted through November 15, 2025. All responses received will be added to the waitlist.
