Jimmy Park is a Vice President at Forgepoint Capital, where he focuses on developing investment theses in AI and security. He serves in board roles with Converge, GetReal, Hyperproof, ReversingLabs, Rafay, and RapidFort, partnering closely with founders on fundraising, go-to-market strategy, and scaling operations. In addition, Jimmy drives strategic business development initiatives with key partners across the Asia-Pacific region.
Prior to Forgepoint, Jimmy was an investor at Charlesbank Capital Partners, a New York- and Boston-based private equity firm, where he focused on software, cybersecurity, industrials, and business services. He began his career in investment banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch and previously served as a Sergeant in the Intelligence Command of the Republic of Korea Army.
Jimmy holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where he focused on entrepreneurship and venture capital. He earned a BS in Statistics and Finance, summa cum laude, from the Wharton School and a BA in International Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. Outside of work, he enjoys golf and mindfulness meditation and serves on the alumni board of the MIT Sloan Club of Northern California.
