Did you ever accidentally hit Esc during a raid and got killed while you were staring and waiting for the Menu to open?
For whatever reason BSG decided to run the post-raid cleanup not on post-raid (why would you?) but upon entering the Main Menu.

This simple mod disables the cleanup process when opening the menu during a raid; afterwards, it runs as usual.
It won’t affect performance, since you likely wouldn’t open the menu during a raid anyway.

Installation

As usual, unzip to SPT folder.

Vanilla Linked Search only searches the flea market. This mod adds Linked Search in Stash — a new right-click option that searches your stash for compatible parts instead. The original flea market Linked Search is unchanged.

Features

New context menu entry — “Linked Search in Stash”, placed between Linked Search and Needed Search, using the same icon as Linked Search

Stash-only search — opens the built-in stash search window with a compatibility filter applied

Mod / weapon support — search for attachments from a weapon, or for weapons/rigs that accept a mod

Bidirectional armor plate support

From a plate carrier → find compatible armor plates in your stash

From an armor plate → find compatible carriers/vests in your stash

Smart filtering — results are narrowed using:

A whitelist of relevant item types (mods, magazines, ammo, armor plates)

Real slot compatibility checks (same logic as installing items), so barter junk like nuts and bolts is excluded

Raid-aware — the stash search button is hidden while in raid

Non-invasive — does not replace or patch the vanilla Linked Search behavior

How to Use

Unzip into your SPT folder

Outside of raid, right-click a compatible item (weapon, mod, plate carrier, armor plate, etc.)

Select Linked Search in Stash

The stash search window opens showing only matching items you own

Notes

Only shown for compound items (weapons, armor, mods, plate carriers, etc.)

Hidden on the flea market screen and during raids

Filters to items in your stash — even if hundreds of templates are theoretically compatible, you only see what you actually have

Auto-search on open — the moment you open a corpse’s inventory, searching begins automatically on all equipped containers (Chest Rig, Pockets, Backpack)

Configurable search order — set the priority of each slot via the BepInEx F12 config menu (default: Chest Rig → Pockets → Backpack)

Resume partial searches — optionally re-start searching slots that were interrupted and still have hidden items (toggle in F12 menu, on by default)

Manual cancel is respected — cancelling a search mid-slot stops the entire chain; no slot is searched without your input

Inventory-close safe — closing the inventory immediately stops any pending searches; nothing runs in the background

Skills Extended compatible — works correctly with the double-search elite skill

The constant failure notifications eventually got on my nerves so much that I created this little mod to silence the pop-ups without having to lower the overall UI volume.

Features

Silence notification sounds — Mutes the sounds for task and subtask completions, XP gain, and skill level-ups during raids. Notifications still appear visually so you don’t miss anything.

Hide XP notifications — Removes the XP gain popups (looting, healing, etc.) that clutter the screen during a raid.

Hide skill level-up notifications — Optionally hides the popup when a skill reaches a new level.

Hide skill progress notifications — Optionally hides the “Skill X increased by Y” popup that appears on every XP gain.

Notification duration — Extend how long popups stay on screen: normal, 2× longer, or infinite (click to dismiss).

All options are configurable via the F12 menu (BepInEx ConfigurationManager).

Notes

Sound suppression and notification hiding only applies during active raids. Hideout and main menu are unaffected.

Each feature is individually toggleable, and everything is designed to coexist with other mods

What it does

Feature

What you get

Profile save coalescing

Rapid-fire profile saves all get merged, at most one save in flight plus one trailing per profile. The trailing save always captures the latest state, so nothing is ever lost. Smooths the between-raid hitch.

Response cache

Fifteen static-after-load endpoints (item DB, handbook, hideout recipes, globals…) are cached after first request. Noticeably snappier stash, hideout, and menu loads.

Log filter

Drops chatty server log lines below a configurable level.

Thread-safe RandomUtil

Fixes a latent thread-safety hazard in the server’s shared random source. Prevents RNG corruption under concurrent load.

In-raid log suppressor (client)

Suppresses below-Warning BepInEx log noise during raids. SAIN is allowlisted by default so its diagnostics always come through.

How it plays with other mods

Server features use SPT 4.0’s DI override mechanism instead of replacing methods, other mods’ Harmony patches on the same classes keep working on top. Per-session endpoints (profile, quests, flea search) are never cached. A runtime mod scan adjusts behavior when SAIN, AI Limit, or Performance Improvements are detected.

Compatibility

Works on unmodded SPT 4.0.13

Works with FIKA 2.2.6 & 2.3.0

Every feature has an
Enabled
flag in
config.json
— flip any of them independently

Install

Drag the archive onto SPT Mods Installer, or extract it over your SPT install root. Files land in
SPT/user/mods/CompoundingPerf/
and
BepInEx/plugins/CompoundingPerf.Client/
.

Overview

Vanilla Traders Rework is a visual enhancement pack that reimagines the original Escape from Tarkov traders with a more realistic, immersive, and cohesive appearance.

Each portrait has been carefully redesigned to preserve the identity, personality, and lore of the original characters while bringing them closer to the grounded and gritty atmosphere that defines Tarkov.

The goal is simple:

Make every trader feel like they truly belong in the same world.

Features

✔ High-quality realistic trader portraits
✔ Consistent visual style across all traders
✔ Lore-friendly character interpretation
✔ Improved facial detail and realism
✔ Better visual cohesion between trader screens
✔ Designed to fit naturally within Tarkov’s UI
✔ Preserves the identity of the original traders
✔ No gameplay changes

Design Philosophy

Rather than reinventing the traders, this project focuses on refining them.

Every portrait was created with attention to:

Character background and role

Existing Tarkov lore

Realistic proportions and clothing

Consistent lighting and color grading

Visual harmony across the entire trader roster

The result is a set of portraits that feel authentic to Escape from Tarkov while offering a more modern and immersive presentation.

Launch the game.

⚠️ Important: The
Clean Temp Files
step is required for the new avatars to appear. If you don’t do it, you may still see the default images.

Credits

Created for the SPT community with the objective of delivering a cleaner, more immersive, and lore-respecting trader experience.

AI Disclosure

AI image generation tools were used as part of the portrait creation workflow. All generated images were manually selected, refined, and adapted specifically for use within Escape from Tarkov’s trader interface.

A server mod for SPT 4.0+ that randomizes raid duration on every raid start, forcing you to actually check the timer and adapt their strategy accordingly.

Got a long raid? Pace yourself. Loot, explore, but don’t forget to check your doors and corners. That’s how they get you, kid.

Got a short raid? Forget about looting and haul ass out of there.

Installation

Like the other mods. You extract the contents of the 7z archive into your main SPT folder.

That’s it.

Configuration

Edit config/config.json to adjust the behaviour:

AllowIncrease (bool, default: true): Allow the timer to be longer than base.

AllowDecrease (bool, default: true): Allow the timer to be shorter than base.

MaxVariancePercent (float, default: 25): Maximum delta as a percentage of the base raid time.

BiasTowardLonger (float, default: 0.5): 0.5 = symmetric, above 0.5 = biased toward longer raids, below 0.5 = biased toward shorter.

MinimumRaidTimeMinutes (int, default: 10): Hard floor, the timer will never go below this value.

Compatibility

SPT 4.0.0+

I have not tested with Fika, and I don’t intend to.

Limitations

The timer is randomized at raid start on the server side, so the in-game UI will just show whatever time you got - there’s no warning before you load in.

Disclaimer

I’m fairly new to coding, so the code contains AI-assisted content. Also, expect bugs.

A server mod for SPT 4.0 that brings prestige requirements closer to the original Escape from Tarkov, but without story quests that are not available in SPT.

UPD 03.06

Creator of the Content Backport mod - Prestige Updated the requirements for prestige according to the same principle as in the standards settings of this mod, now this mod can only be used to create your own balance by changing the file db.json in the mods folder

What this mod does

Configures prestige requirements through JSON config:

player level

rubles amount

skill levels

hideout area levels

Removes selected quests from prestige requirements (blacklist).

Overrides prestige quest start conditions (level and, if needed, prestige level).

Why

In vanilla SPT, some prestige requirements rely on quests that are missing or do not fit backport-based setups.
This mod makes progression more consistent and closer to live Tarkov, while keeping configuration flexible for your own balance.

Dependencies

These mods are required to run, it is not known whether they will work on higher versions, but there should be no problems.

FAQ

Q: What if I’m using a headless ?
A: The mod only sends the Discord message if the client is the host, so the mod can go everywhere and there’ll only be one message even if there are multiple players with the mod installed.
This also means that the mod needs to be on the headless since it’s the host.

Tarkov’s Base armor inserts currently make some armor genuinely not worth using, this mod aims to provide reason to utilize different armor pieces whilst maintaining some sort of hierarchy. If it is large/rare in base Tarkov, expect it to be noticeably buffed in this mod.

Install
Download, un-zip using 7zip into main SPT directory

To uninstall just delete the mod from the >mods folder

Yes both you and the bots are affected. Expect boss equipment to be buffed and the same for heavily armored (with vanilla equipment) enemies, that Zabralo wearing chad got a whole lot scarier and so did Killa and Tagilla.

Highly recommend using with the Unrestricted Armor Plate mod on the forge so you can swap out the armor inserts as needed and so you can use whatever plate with whatever vest to really explore the new strengths and weaknesses of these armors.

NOTE:

No manifest, do not know what that is but other than some server text, you will be fine. Or should be IMOE.

Also, ODTItem info does not really reflect the new material or name changes, so the inserts will be named “Aramid insert 3/X” for the most part but the math on effective durability and class still works in my experience. And of course in game performance still follows.

Again this is mainly a buff, be aware. Changes in README on the github.

Simple Dot - Classic, easy to use and good for target acquisition.

Dot with a Ring - Similar to what BSG had before, but without the extra ring that doesn’t actually exist on these optics.

How To Generate
McsBotPlayer

Mcs mimics a carry service in the gaming industry. In this process, you need to select the desired service, place an order and pay, and play together with the player who comes to serve you. Therefore, Mcs provides a trader
Tsukiyuki Miyako
to handle all these actions

Currently Mcs does not provide indefinite service. When the service period you set expires,
McsBotPlayer
will automatically delete the friend.

How to Customize
McsBotPlayer
Equipment

You need to have a
McsBotPlayer
that has been added as a friend.

Open the
Invite to group
interface from the bottom left corner of the bottom bar.

Right-click on the
McsBotPlayer
to bring up the right-click menu, select
OPEN INVENTORY
.

At this point, you will enter Mcs Inventory Mode.

In Mcs Inventory Mode, you can customize the
McsBotPlayer
’s equipment through operations exactly the same as normal gameplay.

When entering Mcs Inventory Mode, the Miyako trader will provide all items for purchase at 1 ruble

To return to the main character, there are two ways: one is to right-click on the
McsBotPlayer
through the
Invite to group
interface again and select
RETURN TO MAIN CHARACTER
; the other is to directly click the green Mcs Inventory Mode button on the bottom bar, which can also return to the main character.

1. Mcs Inventory Mode modifies the
McsBotPlayer
‘s equipment only in PMC mode. As is well known, PMC mode and SCAV mode are two different characters. According to game settings, you cannot control the SCAV character’s equipment, so Mcs will also maintain this setting.

2. The
McsBotPlayer
‘s friend slot has a time limit and will automatically delete the friend when it expires. If you don’t want the carefully adjusted
McsBotPlayer
equipment to be deleted due to expiration, it is recommended to order a
McsBotPlayer
for a longer period of time.

How to Get Loot Picked Up by
McsBotPlayers
in Raid

When a
McsBotPlayer
picks up target loot, to get items from the
McsBotPlayer
besides looting the body after the
McsBotPlayer
dies, you can also use the
OPEN INVENTORY
command on a single
McsBotPlayer
through the Mcs command menu to remotely open the
McsBotPlayer
’s backpack while the
McsBotPlayer
is still alive.

According to game settings,
McsBotPlayer
mimics a real player, so after they pick up loot, if you don’t personally take it, everything will not belong to you after the raid ends.

If you want it, then you’ll have to take it, as you have already known.

How to Customize
McsBotPlayer
Types

Start the server once first, and
spawntype.json
will be generated under
MiyakoCarryServiceServer/configs
.

If you don’t understand the following content, it’s recommended not to mess around with it yourself. Incorrect modifications will cause errors. If you really want to change it, read on. You can also leave it to AI to do it. If it’s still changed incorrectly, just delete
spawntype.json
and restart the server, and a new file will be generated again.

First, you need to know the JSON format rules. It’s best to use an editor like VS Code that can check JSON format.

Then you need to know the
WildSpawnType
names of AI provided by third-party mods or built-in to the original game.

Take Black Division Home as an example. It provides a Black Division WildSpawnType:
blackDivAssault
.

Now you need to add another type in the correct format in
spawntype.json
.

{
    "WildSpawnType": "sectantOni",
    "IsBoss": true,
    "DisplayName": "Oni"
},
// The above is the EFT native WildSpawnType. When adding new types later,
// you need to bring `,` after `}`.
{
    "WildSpawnType": "blackDivAssault",
// Write the WildSpawnType name here.
    "IsBoss": false,
// Whether to serve as a Boss type.
// When using the help command, a `[Boss]` prefix will be added for this type.
    "DisplayName": "Black Division Assault"
// Display name. When using the help command,
// only this name will be displayed, not the WildSpawnType name.
}
// The last `}` should not have `,`.

// --------------------------------------------

{
    "WildSpawnType": "xxxWildSpawnType",
    "IsBoss": false,
    "DisplayName": "xxxDisplayName",
    "BrainName": "xxxBrainName"
// If this third-party mod's WildSpawnType does not use the EFT native brain,
// you need to additionally fill in a BrainName.
// As for what this BrainName is called,
// you need to find it yourself from this mod.
}

After ensuring the JSON format is correct and the data is filled in correctly, restart the server. At this time, use the help command in the MESSENGER interface with the Miyako trader, and all types will be displayed in the list of available types.

If an exception occurs when generating the customized type, you will receive an error reminder in server log and it will change to generate the default pmc type
McsBotPlayer
. At this time, you need to check whether the customized type you filled in is incorrect.

update if you downloaded the 1.0.5 ver, I forgot to add the languages into the exported file

This isn’t a GAME MOD!

This is a client / launcher that allows you to make it simpler and easier for your friends to have the same mods as you. It doesn’t collect data or add in game contents on its own!

Why did I make it? well I got tired of uploading the .zip(s) at the Gdrive and asking each one of my friends to download and extract so I made the launcher to make it easier for me to manage the mods and for them!

Features

Incremental Patch

Changelog display

One click Update

Installation

Put the exe in the SPT folder ( optional )

Open the .exe ( Doesn’t need any admin needs )

Open Settings

Put the servers IP

Example: http://102.169.0.15:8080

Put the SPT Path

Example: D:\SPT

Save it

Now It will check the updates!

Important notes:

Don’t connect on random servers! Just use your friends one!

TIP for the server owner: you don’t need to put the
spt/user/mods
mods (I think, someone with more experience can correct me)

Other tip for server owners! You can put your
spt/user/cache
onto the modpack to make the bundles downloads faster ( needs further testing but worked 1 time at least )

Bots in your raids no longer just patrol and shoot. With ORBIT, they have

together, and leave when they’re done - just like players.

Built on Phobos’s foundations (advection field, cell dispatch, squad movement), with a custom looting layer on top of BSG vanilla APIs (originally inspired by LootingBots, now fully rewritten) and quest routing inspired by QuestingBot (but A LOT simpler, no code reuse) - all rebuilt as a single coherent system instead of three layers fighting for control.

beyond that, into something I’m proud enough of to share.

What It Does

Every bot squad in your raid rolls a small list of goals at spawn:

Loot a rich zone - clean out a high-value area, room by room

Hunt for fights - anchor a known PvP hotspot, prowl for kills

Run a quest - visit a real EFT quest trigger like a player would

How they pursue those goals depends on their SAIN personality:

Rats / Cowards - careful, low-risk, loot a lot, extract early

Average - balanced, will do a bit of everything

Chads / GigaChads - aggressive, hunt PvP, skip cheap loot, push extracts

Timmys - wander a bit, make weird picks, get to the wrong room sometimes

Squads coordinate: the leader picks the target, the rest spread to nearby
loot or cover. They open locked doors (sometimes), chain-loot adjacent
containers, and credit the right teammate when the corpse needs looting.

They extract when one of three things happens: they’ve looted enough money,
they’ve finished all their goals, or the raid is getting late.

How Squads Pick Targets

Each squad’s main objectives live in cells on the map (a coarse grid).
Once the squad’s leader picks an anchor, the rest of the system works in
two layers:

Main anchor - the squad’s current focus. One member (the leader by
default) walks straight to it. For a Kills main this is a PvP hotspot;
for a LootValue main it’s a specific high-value POI in the target cell;
for a Quest main it’s the trigger point of a real EFT quest.

Splinter targets - while the leader handles the anchor, the other
members fan out to nearby POIs inside the same cell (loose loot, corpses,
containers, synthetic patrol points). Each splinter is picked around the
member’s own position with a random reservoir sample, so a 4-PMC squad
naturally ends up working a small area without all stacking on one spot.
A splinter is kept across anchor flips if it’s still in range of the new
anchor - bots don’t yo-yo between random POIs when the leader chain-loots
the next container two metres away.

Own-kill credit - when a squad scores a kill, the specific member
that landed it is the one routed straight to the corpse on the next
dispatch, not a random teammate. The killer loots the body they dropped.

Coverage roll - on entering a high-value loot cell, each POI inside
the cell rolls against the squad’s coverage value (per-personality:
Cautious 85-95%, Average 65-75%, Aggressive 50-60%, GigaChad 30-45%). POIs
that lose the roll are quietly skipped so the squad never vacuums the
room 100%, like a real player who missed a few items.

Looting In Detail

The looting layer is custom, built straight on top of BSG’s vanilla bot
pickup APIs. It handles containers, corpses and loose world items, with a
focus on making the bots feel like real players rather than vacuum
cleaners.

Per-bot value gate (PMCs and PlayerScavs)

Each PMC has its own loot threshold rolled from its SAIN personality:
Chad ~15k/slot, Average ~10k/slot, Cautious (Rat/Coward) ~5k/slot,
GigaChad ~20k/slot, Timmy 0 (everything goes). PlayerScavs fall back to
a 5k default.

Value is judged per inventory slot (handbook price ÷ item size), so
a tiny key worth 50k beats a 60k backpack that takes 15 slots.

A Chad walking past a 5k mag won’t bother; a Rat in the same squad will
happily grab it.

Bot scavs: opportunistic random pickups

AI scavs don’t use a value threshold. They roll a per-item dice (default
30% chance to grab) - matches the vanilla feel where scavs pick up the
odd item but don’t deliberately empty a corpse.

PlayerScavs are excluded from this and use the PMC-style threshold path.

Smart squad memory

When a Chad opens a container and rejects everything, the same POI is
added to his personal skip list - he won’t be sent back. His Chad
teammates also skip it (same threshold). But the squad’s Rat can still
be dispatched there and clean up what the Chad refused.

The squad’s own blacklist (a hard “we’re done here”) only triggers when
items were actually taken, when the POI was empty, or on transaction
failures - never on a pure value rejection.

Always-pick items

Currency stacks, frag grenades, and dogtags bypass both the value gate
and the scav random roll. A real player never walks past a dogtag.

Realistic search timing

Containers play an open/close animation (~2.5s) with the bot kneeling
in front of the lid.

Corpses are drained on two interleaved tracks: a visible track
(helmet, weapons, scabbard, etc., grabbed sequentially with ~0.8s
between each) and a search track (vest, armour, backpack, pockets,
one slot at a time with progressive per-item reveal: 1.5s initial + 0.4s
per extra item, capped at 8s).

Slot order is randomised so the bot doesn’t always go backpack-first,
vest-second, pockets-third.

Loose items trigger the kneel-and-grab animation per pickup.

Drain order

Items inside grid containers (wallets, money cases, rigs, backpacks,
pockets) are emptied inside-out: cash and contents first, then the
empty wrapper.

Weapon + mods chains drain root-first (the weapon itself, then any
detachable mods), same for armour + plates.

Mod filtering on weapons

Only attachments flagged as “removable in raid” (scopes, mags, grips,
silencers, foregrips, mounts, charging handles, dust covers, sights,
lasers, lamps) are considered. Barrels, buttstocks, handguards and
receivers are dropped from the queue - nobody disassembles a rifle
mid-firefight.

Corpse exclusions

PMC corpses keep their melee weapon (Scabbard slot) on the body, same
as live EFT. Scav corpses are fully lootable.

Secured containers are never touched, on any corpse.

Chain-loot sweep

After successfully looting a POI, the bot looks for nearby loose items
or corpses within a short radius and chains to them directly - mirrors
the way a player picks up adjacent items before walking away.

Same-floor preference: a candidate two metres away on the floor above
loses to one ten metres away on the same floor, so the bot doesn’t
yo-yo between basement and lobby on Resort.

Each sweep candidate gets its own coverage roll.

AI Limiter / Bot Culling mods

Anything that deactivates, pauses, freezes, or culls bots while
they’re still alive (typically to save CPU when bots are off-screen)
breaks ORBIT’s core loop. ORBIT relies on every squad running their
full lifecycle in the background: patrolling, looting, fighting,
extracting, even when you’re nowhere near them. The moment a bot
gets deactivated mid-objective, it never reaches the next waypoint,
never engages, never extracts. No support planned on the ORBIT side
for now, a built-in degraded-tickrate option for off-screen squads
is on the roadmap as a potential future workaround.

canonical SPT way to pin down a mod conflict: disable half your mods,
test the raid, see if the issue persists, split again, repeat until the
culprit is isolated. Tedious but reliable.

If you’re going to report the issue

Quoting Shynd:

When reporting aberrant behavior to a mod dev it is best to do so
with a much smaller subset of your normal mods — for ORBIT I would
have just ABPS / SAIN / ORBIT — and with nothing changed in SVM or
anything else. Each individual person here has a functionally unique
mod pack. Let’s try to make it as similar as possible before trying
to help fix issues that may only occur for you specifically.

So before pinging me: try to reproduce the issue with just
ORBIT + SAIN + BigBrain + Waypoints + ABPS and default configs
across the board. If the issue still reproduces there, then I have
something I can actually act on.

No ETA, no promises, but on the list:

Behaviour

Members can extract alone if they personally hit their loot threshold

Squads can decide to camp + ambush instead of always roaming

Squad rally, when one member starts taking fire, the rest break from their current objective and bee-line to support (currently each bot reacts to combat individually via SAIN, so an isolated teammate can get gunned down while squadmates have already exited combat on their end)

Smarter movement - checking corners, scanning the rear, less straight-line dashing

Less static regrouping (bots are easy 1-taps while waiting for squadmates)

Post-combat self-heal if meds are in inventory

Squad splitting with radio comms

New personalities

Detect bots spawned on isolated navmesh islands (e.g. near Streets transits, Factory silo) and teleport them once to a valid spot nearby so they stay in the raid instead of standing still until raid end. TP destination must respect a safety radius from the player (and other bots) so the rescue can’t drop a bot right in front of someone

Optional player-attraction toggle (bring it back from Phobos) - pulls bots toward the player for more action, off by default. Useful for “kill X scavs in an area” quests, viewership runs, etc.

Crouch when looting a body in the open to minimise silhouette

Weapon-type → behaviour archetype hint (CQB-leaning loadout pushes harder, sniper loadout stays back) driven by MOA + RPM + scope presence, biasing POI selection so a Mosin squad doesn’t get routed into Resort interiors

Cross-raid player-movement heatmap: aggregate the player positions raid-review already logs into a per-map occurrence map, then weight squad dispatch toward those hotspots so the side routes a player habitually rats through stop being safe over time (suggested by Fiodor on Discord)

Built-in degraded-tickrate mode for off-screen / far-from-player squads: runs the dispatch / loot / extract loops at a lower frequency to reclaim CPU on lower-end machines without flat-out deactivating bots the way external AI-limiter mods do. Goal: keep the “full lifecycle” guarantee while trying to help out low-end PCs

Permanent door unlocks after a bot picks the lock, currently unlocks are passage-only and the door relocks behind the bot, which means a player chasing a bot through a high-value-loot door still needs their own key. Once a force-unlock roll succeeds, the door should stay open for the whole raid (or unlock the lock and leave it shut, depending on door state) so everyone benefits from that bot’s pick

Investigate why extended raid duration breaks bot behaviour. Users running SVM / RaidOverhaul / Custom Raid Times with longer-than-vanilla raid lengths consistently report bots going inert, freezing, or behaving erratically (multiple reports). Currently in Troubleshooting as a “test with vanilla raid times first” recommendation, but the underlying cause isn’t understood. Worth tracing what state ORBIT (or a dependency) accumulates over time that fails past the vanilla window

Objectives

“Marked-key loot rush” for high-tier squads

“Spawn rush” for the most aggressive personalities

“Boss hunting”

Airdrop / helicopter crash / BTR objectives: squads slow-approach the drop zone, hold position at a nearby vantage for a few minutes (ambush window), then close in and loot. Mimics how players treat airdrops in live, nobody walks straight to the smoke.

Multi-step objectives (activate → loot/extract):

Interchange Kiba (disable alarm → loot)

Interchange ULTRA (power on → loot)

Interchange Object #21WS keycard container (power on → loot)

Interchange Object #11SR room (power on → toilet switch → loot → extract inside)

Customs scav-base exfil (power on → extract)

Reserve bunker exfil (switch → extract)

Reserve D-2 (switch 1 → door switch → extract)

Extracts

WorldEvent exfils (Reserve / Customs switch-gated)

Train exfil (Armored Train availability window)

“Drop backpack” exfils (Empty / EmptyOrSize) - usable when bot has no backpack, OR wounded bots drop the bag and use them anyway

HasItem (RedRebel-style - bot must own a Red Rebel in inventory, ignore the paracord and WearsItem gear constraints entirely)

Fallback to next-closest exfil if the chosen one is unreachable

Looting (post-MVP)

In-raid weapon swap when bots find something strictly better (gun +
mods + matching mags + ammo carried together)

In-raid armour / helmet / rig / headwear swap, with item transfer from
the old rig into the new one

Magazine compatibility check (caliber vs the bot’s current weapon)
before considering a mag worth taking

Spare ammo preload to the secure container instead of crowding the
main inventory

Strip-then-throw on a weapon the bot is about to discard - keep the
scope / silencer / grip / laser, drop the rest

Post-loot inventory sort so the grid stays usable as the bot fills up

Teammates can grab a dead squadmate’s spawn gear and stash it
somewhere quiet - simulates a real squad taking care of their
fallen friends’ stuff

Stack-aware pricing (currency / ammo stacks evaluated as bulk value,
not single-unit)

Tuning

Faction takeover split: patrols → ORBIT, checkpoints → vanilla (RUAF / UNTAR / BlackDivision)

F12 toggle to opt Raiders out of ORBIT entirely (they currently get the brain layer with no main objectives or loot, just patrol idle)

Flip the faction-control model to opt-IN instead of opt-OUT, ORBIT only controls explicitly enabled bot types, safer for future custom-bot mods

Animations / polish

Keycard / key swipe animation for PMC bots opening locked rooms (currently they call the Unlock function instantly with no anim, should walk to the reader and play the swipe like a player)

Bugs to fix

Bots phantom-walking through closed doors instead of triggering the open animation (door-open condition misfires in some cases)

Most Reserve exfils require switches ORBIT doesn’t operate yet - bots there mostly stay until killed or raid end.

Bots phantom-walk through closed doors - in some cases the door-open trigger doesn’t fire and the bot passes straight through without animating the open. Reported on Customs three-story side door so far. Investigating.

Bots walk into minefield - the rebuilt POI generation doesn’t exclude minefield zones yet, so bots can be routed straight into them. Fix planned.

Possible interaction with CactusPie’s “Transfer Loot Into Container Automatically” mod - reported symptom: items a bot loots end up in YOUR tagged containers (SICC case, etc.). Best theory at the moment is that ORBIT routes pickups through BSG vanilla APIs (same path as the player), so a mod hooking those APIs may end up applying its logic to bot pickups too. Investigating.

Bots stuck at spawn on isolated navmesh - vanilla SPT quirk where a spawn point lands a bot on a tiny chunk of navmesh disconnected from the rest of the map (Streets near transits, Factory inside the silo, etc.). Shows up more often with ORBIT than pure vanilla because vanilla’s built-in TP rescue is disabled (it was teleporting bots constantly on every unreachable pick). Fix planned: targeted TP rescue that fires only when a bot is genuinely stuck for X seconds.

Rare stuck bots - usually unstick themselves within a minute. Still iterating.

Mod conflicts - tested with my own config. Yours may differ. Report anything obviously broken on GitHub.

This mod adds two new devices:

Hacker Device (2/2 Charges)

Ref’s Hacker Device (4/4 Charges)

Both devices allow you to complete a mini-game. Successful completion will allow you to unlock Keycard doors, and hack ATM machines for a bit of cash.

The basic device can be crafted in your hideout, while Ref’s device needs to be earned by completing a Unique quest for him.

Ref’s device will allow you to complete the hack without using up a charge, and earn extra cash if hacking an ATM.

Thanks

People across the SPT and modding scenes shared ideas, repros, and “what if you tried…” moments that shaped
this plugin. That help mattered.

Bits of implementation are the usual mix: inspiration from forum threads, other public mods, and long sessions with
dnSpy. If something looks suspiciously familiar, assume I borrowed the good parts on purpose, thank you for
putting it out there.

Install

Download the release ZIP – the filename looks like
Softwyx-LootInVicinity-2.14.40.zip
(the version number
changes each release).

Extract it so that your game folder contains:

BepInEx\plugins\Softwyx-LootInVicinity\Softwyx-LootInVicinity.dll

Start the game.

First launch may create a config file:

BepInEx\config\com.softwyx.lootinvicinity.cfg

You can edit that file when the game is closed, or use Configuration Manager in-game.

On the right, you should see the Nearby Items panel (title may differ if you changed it in config).

Drag or quick move loot like any other stash.

Which items appear is set under 3. Scanning in the config (see below).

Settings

Open Configuration Manager in-game, or edit
BepInEx\config\com.softwyx.lootinvicinity.cfg
while the game is **
closed**.

1. General

Enabled – master switch.

2. Inventory panel

Panel title, Hide panel when empty, Append item count to title – how the right column looks.

3. Scanning

Scan radius (m) – how far around you the list reaches (3 to 6 m). There is always a 1 m wide zone at your
feet where items can show up even when they are under other loot or even under the ground.

Main scan requires line of sight – when on, loot farther out in that radius must be in clear view (walls still
block). Other loot piles and bodies on the ground do not count as blocking. The 1 m zone at your feet ignores
this setting.

Max items in panel – cap on how many rows show each time you open Tab inventory.

4. Quest items

Show quest items in vicinity – whether quest loot appears in the nearby list.

Route quest items to task stash – when on, moving quest loot from the panel sends it to the quest stash instead
of your pockets.

Delete the config file with the game closed to reset all defaults (or reset manually in-game).

Support

Known issues / quirks

These are behaviours players have reported; they may vary with game version or other mods.

Quest items in the Nearby list – Drag previews (green/red outlines) sometimes do not match where a quest
item can actually go (for example armour vs backpack). Quick move (e.g. Ctrl + click, depending on your
setup) is often more reliable than drag for those items.

Mods that change inventory, stash, quick move, or loot – Compatibility is best effort. If something breaks
after adding another mod, try with only Loot In Vicinity + SPT essentials to narrow it down.

How to report a bug or ask for help

You get faster help if you include detail. Copy/paste this checklist and fill what you can:

Mod version – From BepInEx
LogOutput.log
: the line where Loot In Vicinity loads (it shows v…).

Game / SPT – Roughly what you use (example: “SPT 4.0.13, EFT client build …”). Exact numbers help.

What happened – One short sentence (e.g. “Tab in raid, panel empty” / “the game froze after I …”).

Steps – Numbered list: what you clicked, map, single player or group (FIKA), etc.

Other mods – Names of other BepInEx plugins that touch inventory, loot, UI, or progression.

Logs – With the game closed:

BepInEx\LogOutput.log
(and
FullLogOutput.log
if someone asks for it)

Where to send it – Use the comments section, or issue tracker of the repo which should be listed where you
downloaded the mod. Never email me about mods.

Do not send passwords, full Windows usernames, or unrelated personal files. I will try my best to remove any

Have you ever wanted more military tech in EFT? Do you think airplanes are pretty cool? Well, I do, and that’s exactly why I made this mod.

The AN/ARC-186 R/T is an airborne radio transceiver used for VHF/FM/AM communications. This mod adds it to SPT as a custom electronics item with its own model, bundle, questline, recovery path, and hideout craft.

Now includes the Integrated Avionics questline for Mechanic. Work through the questline to recover the ARC-186, install the required components, and reap the benefits of your skilled labor.

This is my first Tarkov/SPT mod, built as a learning project for custom item cloning, Unity asset bundles, custom quests, loot spawns, hideout recipes, and server-side SPT 4 modding.

Current features:

Custom ARC-186 item

Custom model and asset bundle

2x2 electronics barter item

Hall of Fame large trophy compatibility

Integrated Avionics questline for Mechanic

ARC-186 recovery path during the questline

Guaranteed AEM recovery spawn to prevent quest soft-locks

Mystery rewards

ARC-186 hideout craft unlocked after completing Integrated Avionics - Part 2

Rare ARC-186 loose loot integration around COFDM-style spawn locations

Known issue:

ARC-186 and AEM recovery spawns may continue appearing after quest completion. This is intentional for v1.0.3 to avoid quest soft-locks and will be refined in a future update.

If the ARC-186 hideout craft does not appear immediately after turning in Part 2, clear your SPT user cache and restart the server/client.

Installation

This ammo is OP, so I tried to balance it with high recoil stats, high wear and heat stats, and high price locked behind level 3/4 traders. Please keep in mind this was made so I can LARP with a base makarov in labs and actually manage to down PMCs semi-reliably with APBS Bots with class 5 and 6 plates/helmets alongside my own buffed armor system (which is NOT in this mod), so yes I know the ammo is not exactly the most balanced but now you too can LARP with a PB like you’re secret agent in Tarkov, and not instantly die. What IS in this mod so far is:

9x18 “Konchik Igly”, Level 3 Prapor

9x19 Over Pressure AP, Level 4 Mechanic

9x21 Model 6, Level 4 Peacekeeper

9x39 Mechanic Special, Level 4 Mechanic

45 ACP Hyper Pen, Level 3 Peacekeeper

50 AE Anti Armored Asset, Level 4 Peacekeeper

57x28 Project S, Level 4 Peacekeeper

357 Mag Maximum, Level 4 Skier

762x25TT AP Flat Nose, Level 3 Prapor

As far as I saw, no bots have used the ammo against me in gameplay testing.

Most Recent WTT Common Lib required for the mod to work - Also, has no manifest. Do not know what that is, doesn’t affect my gameplay beyond some scary server text. Download at your own risk, I tested it and it works for me but as I say this mod is optional.

A Linux build/fork of the original SPT.Launcher

This Linux “Launcher” ironically won’t actually start your game. It is more like an account manager for your SPT (or Fika) accounts.

It is identical to the official one with the only difference being that instead of having a “Start Game” button it has a “Copy Launch Arguments” one. You will paste those arguments in your preferred launcher (Lutris/Heroic/Steam) and run your game with Proton.

THIS IS ONLY THE LAUNCHER, NOT THE PATCHER OR INSTALLER!!! To install SPT I recommend using a Windows virtual machine - MY GUIDE.

DISCLAIMER: You don’t have to put this inside your game folder to use it but if you still wish to do that, it will overwrite the original launcher’s locale files,
Assembly-CSharp.dll.delta
and
LICENSE-Launcher.txt
(license is the same as the original). Doing so should not cause you trouble but I recommend just keeping it outside.

Requirements

ASP.NET 9 Core Runtime (how to install?)

Check if you have it available in your package manager

(Linux Mint 22.3) I had to add it manually with an ubuntu PPA

  sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dotnet/backports

  sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install -y aspnetcore-runtime-9.0

An SPT install

A third-party launcher to start your game with (Lutris/Heroic/Steam)

A runner (Proton/ProtonGE) to emulate the game with

How to use

Start the SPT server. SPT has a native Linux server included
SPT/SPT.Server.Linux
(requires .NET 9 runtime). Mark it as executable and launch it through Terminal to see it

Start
SPT.Launcher.Linux

Create/login to an account

Press “Copy Launch Arguments”

Paste them into the launch arguments dialog inside your launcher of choice (Lutris/Heroic/Steam)

To change the account playing you just select the account you want and copy-paste the launch arguments again

What the launch arguments mean

These are what the launcher on Windows is starting your game with. On Linux you’ll be doing this manually because of emulation/proton setup.

This always gets passed by the launcher, it should improve multi-core performance
-force-gfx-jobs native

The account you’ll log in with
-token=accountnumber

The server you’re connecting to (by default this should be the same)
-config="{'BackendUrl':'https://127.0.0.1:6969','MatchingVersion':'live','Version':'live'}"

Example:
-force-gfx-jobs native -token=69fea3e381250c03c4e6f36a -config="{'BackendUrl':'https://127.0.0.1:6969','MatchingVersion':'live','Version':'live'}"

Thank you to the SPT developers and maintainers <3

Thank you for creating and maintaining the SPT project. The modding community is lovely and the open source culture is awesome!

I’ve tried my best to keep this fork’s changes separate from the original code so that it would be easy to merge. Feel free to contact me if you need assistance merging this with your official repo :)

When you load in, the mod spins the wheel and tries to sneak random loot into your pockets. Sometimes it’s a snack, sometimes it is ammo, sometimes it’s something stupidly rare that makes your neurons go brr.

Everything is configurable: reward chance, number of rolls, item weights, rarity modes, stack ranges, scav support, ground drops, and notification messages. Run it as a balanced bonus system, a cursed slot machine, or a full chaos button for your server.

Doesn’t add any custom items so your profile stays safe when you uninstall. I’m not trying to brick your profile or anything lol.

Go spin the pocket wheel big man.

Fika Compatibility

I never had any issues with Fika, but I might’ve just gotten lucky lol.

It should work with or without Fika. Each player in the raid rolls their own pocket item independently.

Configuration

Edit
SPT/user/mods/PocketRoulette/config/config.json
.

Stuff you’ll probably touch:

mode: ‘mixed’, ‘garbage’, ‘useful’, ‘jackpot’, or ‘chaos’

itemCount: how many times Pocket Roulette rolls at raid start

chancePercent: 0-100 chance that Pocket Roulette even does anything

enableNotification: show or hide the raid-start notification

debugLogging: show detailed server logs for item sync and ground registration

allowClientOverrides: lets players opt into their own BepInEx/F12 client config instead of the server config

allowGroundDrop: if it doesn’t fit in your pockets, drop it at your feet (or discard/skip it)

scavEnabled: let your scav also hit the pocket casino

itemPool: weighted list of existing EFT item template IDs

itemPool.minCount / itemPool.maxCount: stack amount range for that reward, clamped to the item’s real max stack size

You can also mess with all the funny messages it spits out if you’re bored.

By default the server config is the authority, which keeps Fika/multiplayer fair. basically, the server and client need each other’s consent for a player to use their own F12 config. if the server allows overrides, each client can still choose to use the server config or their own custom config.

Client side item pools and messages live in
BepInEx/plugins/PocketRoulette/PocketRoulette.ClientConfig.json
.

Modes

Modes pick a rarity tier first, then use each item’s weight inside that rarity.

mixed: mostly trash and okay stuff, tiny chance for something actually good

garbage: you’re eating crayons and loving it

useful: actually gives you decent stuff most of the time

jackpot: loaded dice for rich kids

chaos: every rarity has equal chance. Good luck :)

Known Issues

If your pockets are already full at raid start, a few items just refuse to spawn in the world for some reason. They vanish into the void instead. No clue why, don’t ask me I’m not smart.
