After drooling over this thing for well over a year, I finally bought myself a Boba Fett hoodie.

I'm so excited!

I got a nice little surprise from a very good friend of mine today...

Aren't they pretty? It was quite unexpected, and with how awful my weekend was, quite welcomed. The best thing is that he had no idea how bad things were over the weekend, he just had wonderful timing in sending a 'just because' gift.

Oh, and thank you to all of you who commented on my last entry. Your opinions were very much appreciated. I ended up going back and exchanging the glasses, frames and all. I'm back in plastic with regular lenses.. no tint, because they can't do that with the anti-reflective coating, but I think I'll live without it. I'll post pictures of the new frames when I have some.

Kenobi has ringworm. I expected the results to be positive though, so I'm not too bothered by it. We'll have him longer than originally expected - until two weeks after his hair starts to grow back, which could be a month or four months down the road. Gotta love ringworm. All of us at the shelter are trying to figure out why we've had so many ringworm puppies and kittens lately, as it's really not all that common. Oh well. I bought some shampoo from the vet, so I get to bathe all four dogs once a week and spot wash the puppy (his ringworm spots) daily. I'll also have to do a ton of cleaning on a daily basis. It'll be fun.

I never thought I'd foster a ringworm pup. It's not something I want to deal with, simply because it's a major pain in the ass and getting rid of it is a long, annoying process. I have to keep the little guy though, because the alternative (euthanasia) is just not an option. He's adorable and completely nutty, and he'll eventually make some adopter very happy.

Positive ringworm results aren't exactly an ideal way to start out a holiday, but it should be a good day regardless. Happy turkey day to all of you. :)

Kenobi might have ringworm. :( I should find out for sure on Thursday. Poor little guy just can't get a break (and apparently neither can I) - even if it isn't ringworm, he still has some sort of nasty skin condition. At least it's not mange, I guess.

Instead of relaxing tonight like I would like to, I get to do some serious cleaning and bathe all four dogs in anti-fungal shampoo. It'll be a blast, I'm sure.

I really hope the test comes back negative.

I'm fostering a four and a half week old pain in the ass named Kenobi. He might look cute, but he'll rip your face off if given the chance (he's quite the nibbler). The poor little guy is full of worms and various other parasites, but he's on meds for that. Besides that, he's an incredibly happy, friendly little pup.

He never stops moving and he doesn't leave my side often, so taking pictures of him is not an easy task. Here are a few that turned out relatively decent.

I will have him until he is at least eight weeks old, so I'll have some time to get a ton of adorable Kenobi pictures. :)
