it's only been a couple of days since it happened. we promised to continue our relationship as friends and nothing more. it's been hard for both sides, although i've always thought it was harder on me. i'd never really saw it his way until tonight.

he said, 'you're not the person i thought you were.' crushed as i was, i immediately jumped to conclusions thinking of all the worse things about him, and how he surprised me in return. then he continued, 'i never thought you were the kind of person who would give me the most amazing years of my life. i never thought you were the one who had no trouble bringing my guard down. i never thought looking at you would be so breath taking.'

maybe he was it. maybe i'm supposed to only have one guy meant for me. and i blew it. just like that.
