FOLDER PROTECTOR 1.1
Sofonesia Folder Protector allows you to hide your folders from other people
Program info
Sofonesia Folder Protector allows you to hide your folders from other people. The name says it all. But, the application's name gives you a sense of security that the application itself cannot deliver. What I mean with this is that your files will never be safe only because they are hidden. You wouldn't just hide your money stash somewhere and leave it unprotected, would you? I wouldn't just hide my files. When I think about protection, I think about encryption. And Folder Protector does not offer any encryption. It just tweaks Windows Explorer into thinking that the folder does not exist. Thus, it is not shown to the user who doesn't have a password. So, in short, this application could useful for those who want to hide unimportant files or just to mess around or hide pictures from his or her relative other. If you are trying to secure your sensitive information, you might as well go for an application that can do a good job securing them. Folder Protector is a nice, free application, but fails to protect. I totally hate when developers try to trick their users into clicking Ads.
