So it's been a while since I even logged into LiveJournal, must I was feeling nostalgic for the era before facebook, and other social media zones. I am now 35 ... the years of lj seem years ago.. like a forgotten dream... Why not login ... write a entry... get a few thoughts out.

So what has change in my life in those years since.

this year my step son was accepted into seattle's drum and bugle corps called the seattle cascades.

his camps are in Yakima.

the past few months to a year have been a rollercoaster of hell. working when work falls in my lap.. I have designed sites for a variety of people lately .. from a cabinet maker to a photographer to yoga instructors to a dominatrix

I am writing this on my newish Palm Centro smartphone as we drive to Yakima ..

music has been on the back burner for so long.. i've got these killer drum seqeunces going on in my brain.. just no outlet for it .

might start Elektro Radio back up again...

back to subject at hand this year:

I love salem it's the best.. we have no EBM/industrial scene at all.. and I think that makes me happy .

For those whom know me, I have been M.I.A. for the past week, Jenna went into the ER last week with extreme abdomen pain. In Sept. they told her she needed to have surgery in the next 9 months due to her Diverticulitis [link] - she was rushed into surgery - and had a part of her intestines removed - the damaged part, and reconnected like a broken water hose. We also found out she had some extra beats in her heart, and might of have needed to get a pace maker (which she doesn't need). They gave her an echo-cardiogram and found nothing wrong with her heart.

She is now home, and resting.

We are off to the coast this weekend (lincoln city, oregon) to stay for a few nights, I actually got a day off work. I have been so busy with school, work, and trying to not drown in bills, let's just say the bills are winning.

This Past week in a nutshell

I have been working back at taco bell for a few weeks now, they hired me on part time, but we lost 3 people and this past week has been hell, at taco hell. I have had one day off, and next week is just a repeat of this week.

It's work I know. people keep on telling me to go find something better but with the state of the economy as of late, I don't think I should waste my breath, and energy. I have been working late nights. It sucks for me but It's work and there isn't really anything I can do about.

Let's just say it's been CRAZY!

Turkeyday Eve Events

Woke up at 6am
Drove 60 miles to the hills near Lincoln City, Oregon.
First unloaded a 300lb Granite or Marble (not sure which) framed in some maple looking wood. Moved into in many words could be described as a cabin (with 6 rooms and 2.5 baths) on about 50 acres of land. Then me and another 2 guys managed to lift this onto a wall and screw it into some brackets that were mounted to the wall.
Then we loaded up our truck/trailer and drove down the hill (mountain to me) and then lugged 10 sheets of 3/4 inch plywood up a path (to be honest I couldn't make it up the hill due to my shoes lacking traction and the dirt/mud being so soupy. As I managed to get up the hill me and my friend Darren, loaded up in a side by side ATV thing, and zoomed down the hill. We then made a few trips loaded up on 4x4s in the back of it. We then built a small bridge out of 4x4s and plywood for ATVs to access the hills.
Then we drove another 10 miles towards the coast and installed Sheetrock in a two story shed. Did that until we ran out of light.

This is my new job. General Construction. Until I can find work in a print shop somewhere. But it's work.
