FMV provides everything you need for a true HD video experience. As well as still and audio support, the video player supports a wide range of formats including MP3, DivX, DivX HD, Xvid, Windows Media, H263\4 and MKV(Matroska) to name a few. Variable slow motion and mousewheel frame advance and rewind. For audio, there's Multi-language GraceNote CDDB support to identify your CD's and an ID3 editor to tag and classify your MP3 collection. You can also rip audio to MP3 from any video. FMV has two video playback engines including one that is DirectShow \ DirectX based. This means FMV will take full advantage of any hardware on your graphics card automatically and deliver the best video playback performance possible on HD sources.
