first of all - happy Autumn and hello! ♥ I am very excited to be getting to know you in the near future; thank you so much in advance for creating my gift - I am very much looking forward to reading or seeing it. What I would like you to know is that, to me, it is most important that what you write or create is something you are comfortable with and that you enjoy writing/creating the art; you will find a list of things I love below, but these are merely suggestions, because no matter what direction you end up going to, I sure am going to love it!

GENERAL:
I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read in fanfiction. Angsty art is also amazing, though! I have to say that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid - I didn't request it, but it's always a good example) and crossovers, nor do I like very fluffy fluff in the written word a lot. It doesn't have to be all darkness, destruction and gloom (unless you want it to be!), but 100% fluff is not something I particularly enjoy reading. Looking at it is great, though, I love adorable fluffy artwork! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

So, you see that I generally prefer Tricks over Treats, even though I did request Treats as well. Again, though, whatever you choose to go with, whether it's a Trick or a Treat, I am super excited to receive my gift and will absolutely adore it!

Whatever you do, it also doesn't necessarily have to centre around Halloween or Autumn itself - you can go into any direction you like, but it would be perfect, if it could somehow capture the feel of it... In case that makes any kind of sense?

FANDOMS:

Marvel Cinematic Universe (Black Widow)

Confession first: I am... Really not a whole lot into the MCU at all. I saw an entirety of two movies, and one of them was Black Widow - that made me bawl through a good 40% of it - and I ADORED it so much.

Natasha and her backstory have always been the most intriguing part of the entire MCU to me, I read so much about her, and seeing Black Widow has honestly opened up an entirely new and massive love for her "family" turned actual family. Also, I honestly ship Melina and Alexei SO much, haha.

So... Anything about that family would be incredible - give me all the Yelena, Melina and Alexei and, obviously, also Natasha, all the misfunctions, dynamics, traumas, maybe more Red Room glimpses/details... Just... Everything. They all endured so much, they are such a tragic family and There is so much love there even though love isn't supposed to be there, and... I love them so much, they might just suck me into the MCU entirely!

There is so much tragedy involved in them, that - despite picking both - I am leaning more towards the "Trick"... Just because there are so, so, so many possibilities!

Memoirs Of A Geisha
Characters: Mameha
Ships: N/A (even though I have a very twisted fascination with Mameha/Baron - without glorifying it, though! The pure, raw darkness of it - and could totally see Mameha/Hatsumomo!)
Trick or Treat? Trick & Treat!
Mameha is one of my favourite literary characters ever. This book will forever remain my favourite and I cannot even express the love I feel for Mameha since the first time I read it. Same goes for movie!Mameha! Michelle Yeoh is absolutely GREAT for her and I couldn't picture anything else. All throughout the book, Sayuri has been given such great advice by Mameha over and over again and we got to see so much of her but then at the same time so little. She's so incredibly disciplined and never loses focus, but she is vulnerable, too, and there have been rare moments where we see that. I do believe she had feelings for the Baron (and probably hated herself for it) and I do believe that she truly liked Sayuri/Chiyo not only because the Chairman set her up to train her. There is SO much to explore with this character, there are such endless possibilities, anything would just totally excite me!

I picked "both" on the "Trick or Treat" front, but am sort of leaning towards the direction of tricks rather than treats, but that is just my general angst adoration - if you feel like creating a treat, that's amazing! I've requested both because I love both :D

Bob's Burgers
Characters: The Belchers

Oh God, how much I love this show! And this family! I cannot really say a lot more, because I love how pure they all are in their own way, and how much they love each other, and just... I love them. I love everything about them. All I ask is... Please don't tear them apart! Arguing is perfectly all right, but... Within show-reason, nothing to destroy relationships. This show is so very much my happy show, ngl. Sorry if none of that make any sense, haha.

This is probably one of the very, very few shows that even I cannot imagine going dark. Just... Picture one of the perfect Halloween episodes! Or just... Anything, really!

Gilmore Girls

One of my all-time show babies <333. Besides Charmed, it was my very first favourite TV Show, and the love just remains burning intensely. I have always been a huge, huuuuge lover of Emily and Richard, my favourites and my OTP, just because I love their devotion to one another and their family, as well as their hidden quirks, and... Just everything about them (Emily's emotions. OMG.), they're simply the best <3333. I do ship Lorelai and Luke with a passion as well, though, those four are just my all-time favourites <3333.

While I love some fun little glimpses into their lives, particularly around Halloween, I am a sucker for darker Gilmore stuff, so... Trick or Treat, either is fine! ♥

The Mummy Series
Characters: Evy O'Connell

Trick or Treat? Trick!
One pairing I have come to ship fiercely are Evelyn and Rick O'Connell. I don't really have too much to say about them except that I turn into a giant bundle of feels when I think of them and that, if you don't choose to go the shipper way, Evie!centric fic would be amazing. The Mummy Returns is my favourite movie in the series I refuse to acknowledge the third one, mostly because it is so great to see that after nearly a decade Evie and Rick's relationship has blossomed in the way it did, and that they have crafted a truly strong, unbreakable bond that connects them, which is absolutely beautiful. I will be perfectly happy with any spot in the timeline you pick before the third movie, but The Mummy Returns canon would absolutely warm my heart and make me squeal out loud!

Not much to say on the Trick or Treat front, but somehow my instincts are leading me closer to the darker side... But I will be perfectly happy with Treats as well!

I have to say, though, that, while I adore dark pieces in general, to read as well as to write, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid - did not request that, but it's always a good example) and most crossovers. I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and just tiny, delicate hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

Limiting myself to just 20 tags (I know, technically 40) was more difficult than I believed it would be, but... I think they give a pretty good idea of what I generally like and look for in my dark fics - basically, they all reflect the psychological horror aspect rather than the gore (Which, again, please... no.), so everything similar to these tags (again, limiting myself was hard!), and similar to that pattern... It's all fair game!

I've always been incredibly fascinated by Russian History, particularly the last Romanovs. The more I read about them, the more I want to discover their relationships, their dynamics, everything about them, particularly their life outside the public, their family life, and Alexandra and Nikolai's relationship. When The Last Czars got released by Netflix then, I immediately binged all six episodes, cried my eyes out at the end, and did way more re-watches than I care to admit. So... If I could receive anything about them - particularly Alexandra and Nikolai, I ship them so hardcore - and even the Romanov children - that would be the most perfect thing ever. ♥ Doesn't necessarily have to include Rasputin, though! (I mean, unless you want to turn him even darker and more emotionally abusive which is why I ended up nominating/requesting him, but absolutely NOT into Alix's affair as he was believed to be for a while...)

Honestly, I just long so desperately for anything and everything regarding that show (and yes, I lean towards what we know from the show more than the real people, even though it's a DocuDrama), so... JUST GIVE ME ANYTHING. Anything at all, there is SO MUCH POTENTIAL ALL AROUND. ♥

The Addams Family (1964)
Characters: Morticia Addams, Gomez Addams
Ships: Morticia/Gomez
The characters should be quite clear there - there is NOTHING that goes over the beautiful love that Morticia and Gomez share! If you want to create a gen-piece: All perfectly fine with me! But I'd rather you focus on Morticia there, since I have always been so incredibly fascinated by her... If you choose to go with Addams Family, I'd ask you to please stick to the 1964 canon - I've never really gotten into any other portrayals.

Whatever direction you'll choose to go with will be fantastic there - I've been craving some angsty Morticia (or Morticia/Gomez, of course) fic (or generally, an angsty piece) for a long time because I've sort of missed real angst moments in the show - and the few ones were resolved way too quickly tbh - but treats would also just warm my heart! Whatever strikes your fancy will be perfect there. I mean... Couldn't these two be any more perfect in any way? ♥ The only thing I do request of you, however, is not to turn them against each other - their love is so very, very untouchable!

Carrie
Characters: Margaret White

Another entirely new fandom to me! At least in the fanworks area. I am SO beyond fascinated by Margaret I cannot even put it into words just recently I played her (only partly, though) at my musical theatre degree graduation exam this past June, spent nearly an entire year preparing for that role, and... Oh my God. There is SO much depth and complexity in her. Needless to say, Carrie the Musical is my favourite medium, but I do adore Julianne Moore's rendition of Margaret in the 2013 movie a lot as well.

I didn't request Carrie as well, but in case you wanna go into detail about the mother-daughter relationship - YES! Absolutely! I do, however, prefer you stick to Margaret in case you pick Carrie as the fandom to go! There is SO much tragedy in her backstory (I know there are different interpretations in different media of how she got pregnant with Carrie, and I very much believe that the conception was not consensual at all) and also in her present story, the abuse being ever-present until the point of her becoming the abuser... So much material to work with, so, so, so much there was not yet explored about her... Beneath all these horrible, horrible things she does to her daughter, she is such a tragic character and... Oh God, I do need to explore her even more!

The Worst Witch 2017
Characters: Hecate Hardbroom, Ada Cackle, Agatha Cackle
Ships: Hecate/Ada
JUST PICTURE HOW MUCH AGATHA COULD MANIPULATE HECATE EMOTIONALLY KNOWING HER TRUE FEELINGS FOR ADA! OMG! Providing, of course, she would not immediately notice the difference.

ANYWAY, though. I live for emotional Hardbroom. Season 3 has shown us how much there is to her, and how incredibly vulnerable she truly is, and... This could get so dark. So tragic. I believe Hecate to be such a tragic character, really, there could be so much more in her past, even in her present, so much darkness... There could even be darkness in her relationship with Ada, and... Everything. Oh God, the possibilities! So many possibilities! And when Agatha comes into the game, everything gets even worse. We all know how cruel Agatha can be...

Again, though, I want you to be happy with what you create - you are the creator, and you decide on what to do or where to go. What matters the most is that you enjoy writing and creating. I really cannot wait to see what you come up with!

I do believe she had feelings for the Baron (and probably hated herself for it) and I do believe that she and Hatsumomo are more alike than they'd like to be, except that Mameha has much better control over her self-loathing, which I am convinced she possesses a great deal of, even if more rational than Hasumomo. There is SO much to explore with this character, there are such endless possibilities, anything would just totally excite me! Hatsumomo, too - while I will always prefer Mameha - has so many options! That woman, girl, probably, is so broken, nobody ever sees this through the way she acts and misbehaves.

Also, Mameha's relationship with the Baron is so dark and tragic, because I truly believe that she did love him despite him being so obviously abusive... Exploring this further would be amazing, which is why I also picked him! I can see him behind abusive in all possible ways, and Mameha being so emotionally dependent on him...

HOLIDAY CARDS ARE OUT! <33333 I mailed them on Thursday afternoon and am SO proud of myself there, not even gonna lie, haha. ♥ So, all of you who requested a card should be receiving mail soon! ♥ Hopefully at least a few of them will be here before Christmas (also, apologies to my Jewish friends for missing Chanukah entirely! Eep!), so let's cross our fingers! ♥

Also, if you haven't requested a card yet but would still like one, it's not too late! Simply fill out the form in my Holiday Card Post, and I'll send out a second batch early-to-mid next week! ♥

SPEAKING OF MESSING UP, I am currently HIGHLY frustrated with our mail situation. Like... I know that Christmas and pandemic are an insane combination, I mean, even I ordered 98% of my stuff online when usually I find a relatively good balance between that and real life shopping, and ADORE Christmmas shopping in malls, but this year as just an online year for known reasons, haha, but... What is absolutely beyond my understanding is the fact that our mailman only delivers mail mamyvbe once, twice if we're lucky, per week. And then it's all backlog basically, like magazines that are suddenly out-of-date because they weren't delivered on time, and just... It's all very clear that the huge stacks of mail we do find aren't all from that one day they were delivered. I did already call the customer service of Austrian Post to inquire what was going on, and one day later I got a call back where they told me they'd already had taken care of the situation, had a "talk" with our mailman (eep!) and that from now on I would get mail Monday to Friday as usual again, so... Cross your fingers, please, haha.

This totally throws me off in my timing, though - I'm not only waiting on parcels for myself, there are also quite a few Christmas presents outstanding. I am still waiting for two presents for my parents (one for Mum and one for Dad, haha), one part of Marie's present, three (!) parts of Pat's, and one of a Secret Santa parcel that I had to send in an incomplete state because I was way post deadline, promising in the card that the final part would come in a separate parcel. I am only semi-worried about my parents' presents as long as they get here by Thursday, and here still is a tiny chance that I might get the remaining two (and a quarter) parcels sent out on time because they're all shipping domestically, so I still have a couple of days leeway before Christmas Eve, but stiiiiill. Sigh.

It's jut insane, haha, the one Christmas I am actually on top of things in a way that I barely recognise myself, it's something I cannot influence at all that puts me behind, so... There is quite the irony involved, haha. I will not give up hope to finish everything on time present- or at least parcel-wise until at least... Wednesday, though!

ANYWAY, last weekend was a total Christmas Bakery weekend! ♥ And this one is as well! I have changed into my Minnie Mouse Christmas PJs (I only wear nighties to sleep, so I got those to wear around the house when I don't have to go out haha) that I am not intending to take off - except at night - until I need to exchange them for a leotard again or have to leave the house, and am very much in the middle of an intense weekend of baking and tidying up! ♥ More baking, less tidying up, though, haha. I made so many kinds of cookies already, 13 baking tins yesterday alone, today it was maybe 8 or 9, and I thiiiiiink I wanna make a second batch of our very own cinnamon stars that are some of our favourites <3333. Also still gotta make 1-2 batches of roasted almonds despite having made one already today, but we give them out as presents, so I've made so many kilos of them it feels like! Other than that, knowing that mum will make the Vanillekipferln because I'm too scared of them still, haha, I should be mostly done! I did attempt to bake some Lussekatter for Swedish Lucia last Sunday, but the recipe I used was different to the one last year, and they ended up being super dense, unfortunately. A pity, but well.

Honestly, though, I am SO proud of myself, honestly, because I remember that in the pat couple of years I always made SO many plans to bake such a huge variety, and then ended up panickedly rushing down half-portions of two sorts (regular cookies and the cinnamon stars) on the 23rd or Christmas Eve afternoon, haha, but now... Now, we have so many of them and I am so excited! <33333 It's only the 20th! ♥

It's pretty crazy to think that it's the Fourth Advent Sunday already - time passed SO fast! ♥ I still have two days of classes left, and then I'm on Christmas break at last! YAY! ♥ Very much needed, honestly. ♥

Mum and I are gonna buy the Christmas Tree tomorrow (since I am off Mondays on my virtual schedule) - SO EXCITED! - and I just cannot wait to pick it, and to put it up <3333. We won't decorate it until Chritmas Eve, but we're definitely gonna put it up and position it as soon as we get it, or only a little bit after that, depending how tired we are and how tidy it is already, oops, haha. But I am honestly sooooooo excited <3333.

I have also already received my Reddit Secret Santa Card (a cute self-made Nutcracker one! It may not be super pretty, but I really appreciate the thought put into this <333), aaaaaaand the first part of my AviClaus Secret Santa present from my dear gelsey! ♥ She gave me an immensely generous LUSH Gift Card that I cashed in right away into the "Winter Garden" Gift Box as well as the "Polar Bear Plunge" Bubble Bath that I will put under the tree and not use until Christmas! Between classes and baking I've also very happily been enjoying Christmas baths, and reading! I just finished "The Nutcracker Mice" for my Ballet Book Club which was REALLY cute, and, well, we all know I will happily jump onto anything ballet and Nutcracker, haha, so... My spirit just keeps on growing and growing and growing. ♥ ALSO, I bought a Disney Christmas Cookbook that I very much need to study in more detail soon! I just wish it was going to snow in Thursday, or before, or before AND on Thursday, but I'm afraid there won't be a White Christmas Eve, sigh. Siri actually just told me it was snaining (snow-raining), but looking out of the window proved me otherwise, haha. There might be a White Christmas Day, though, because it looks like it's gonna snow there, so... CROSS YOUR FINGERS! <3333 We haven't had a White Christmas for so, so long, unfortunately.

I mean, they kind of have six different kinds of cookie dough on them now, but I AM STILL NOT TAKING THE MOFF, HAHA! ♥ Unless to briefly wash them, maybe.

HAPPY FOURTH ADVENT SUNDAY <33333.

ANYWAY, before I ramble more and start gushing over how I'm finally watching Miracle on 34th Street (the 1994 one) which is my ultimate favourite Chritmas movie and that I always wanna watch as close to Christmas as possible because it's just so very, very special an dear to me, have a Christmas survey that I snagged from sictransits. ♥

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags?
WRAPPING PAPER!

2. Real tree or Artificial?
Reaaaaaaal. ♥

3. When do you put up the tree?
Usually we put it up around the 23rd and then decorate it on the 24th and then it gets "revealed" when we celebrate on Christmas Eve, but I think this year we'll be a tad early and put it up tomorrow or on Tuesday! It's still only going to get decorated on Christmas Eve, though <333.

4. When do you take the tree down?
Around the 6th, so Epiphany, sometimes the week after. I never like that, haha! So let's definitely not think about that just yet.

5. Do you like eggnog?
I've never had it actually because you cannot et it here... I should try to make it myself, since the last time I started an attempt I failed miserably, haha.

6. Favorite gift received as a child?
I cannot decide, I've received so many, many wonderful gifts, I just couldn't possibly pick one! ♥

7. Hardest person to buy for?
My Secret Santas, haha? Because I never know what to expect, and some just give you ZERO info.

8. Easiest person to buy for?
My parents! The hardest thing about shopping for them is that I run out of money before I can get them everything I want to, haha, so I always have to limit myself!

9. Do you have a nativity scene?
Yes! A small one we always have on/in our tree, and also a bigger one that I finally want to build up again this year! We haven't had up forever!

10. Mail or email Christmas cards?
Mail for sure.

11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received?
This box of ancient weird Vermont (?) fishing pier merchandise including an old teddy bear with a creepily sentimental story from an imgur Secret Santa a couple years ago. That was fun.

12. Favorite Christmas Movie?
Miracle on 34th Street <333333.

13. When do you start shopping for Christmas?
Usally around very early December up until around the 20th-22th, sometimes I still get a thing or two on Christmas Eve, but this year I started in November, and by the end of it was mostly done! Entirely done by the 10th-ish, I think.

14. Have you ever re-gifted a Christmas present?
Pretty sure I haven't, not a huge fan of re-gifting, ngl. At least not for Christmas!

15. Favorite thing to eat at Christmas?

Too many people in the shopping centres, haha. Also, those who are only here for the alcohol on the Christmas Market, instead of enjoying the atmosphere!

Nutcracker! Colours red or silver or gold or rose or everything, really, as long as it's festive <333.

24. Favorite for Christmas dinner?
Oven-baked salmon on spinach. No idea when that happened and became our tradition (or at least when I decided it was going to be a tradition, haha!), but I don't ever want to miss it on Christmas Eve!

Hello to an incredibly exciting thing for the second year in a row! ♥ Last year, I hosted a delightful Secret Santa Friendzy, which I took over from the phenomenal phenomenal's version of it back in 2018. I did also take over the rules and basic information, as well as the form, even if with a few minor additions - so if you haven't participated last year and it looks familiar to you, that's why! :D

I have always adored Secret Santas, and I really hope that some of you will be just about as excited about this as I am; even if you won't participate in either the friending meme part or the Secret Santa one, I'd be incredibly happy if you could share it, so it reaches as many people as possible! ♥

First of all - Hello! ♥ And Happy Holidays! ♥ I am very excited to be getting to know you in the near future; thank you so much in advance for creating my gift - I am very much looking forward to reading it. What I would like you to know is that, to me, it is most important that what you write is something you are comfortable with and that you enjoy working on it; you will find a list of things I love below, but these are merely suggestions, because no matter what direction you end up going to, I sure am going to love it!

GENERAL
GENERAL:
I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read in fanfiction. I have to say, though, that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid - obviously not applicable of Yuletide, but it's always a good example) and most crossovers, nor do I tend to read very fluffy fluff in the written word a lot. It doesn't have to be all darkness, destruction and gloom (unless you want it to be!), but 100% fluff is not something I usually very much enjoy reading... Unless there is some depth to it! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

And now, onto the fandoms! ♥

Memoirs Of A Geisha
Characters: Mameha, The Baron
Ships: N/A (even though I have a very twisted fascination with Mameha/Baron - without glorifying it, though! The pure, raw darkness of it - and could totally see Mameha/Hatsumomo!)
Mameha is one of my favourite literary characters ever. This book will forever remain my favourite and I cannot even express the love I feel for Mameha since the first time I read it. Same goes for movie!Mameha! Michelle Yeoh is absolutely GREAT for her and I couldn't picture anything else. All throughout the book, Sayuri has been given such great advice by Mameha over and over again and we got to see so much of her but then at the same time so little. She's so incredibly disciplined and never loses focus, but she is vulnerable, too, and there have been rare moments where we see that. I do believe she had feelings for the Baron (and probably hated herself for it) and I do believe that she truly liked Sayuri/Chiyo not only because the Chairman set her up to train her. There is SO much to explore with this character, there are such endless possibilities, anything would just totally excite me!

Also, her relationship with the Baron is so dark and tragic, because I truly believe that she did love him despite him being so obviously abusive... Exploring this further would be amazing, which is why I also picked him!

The Last Czars
Characters: Alexandra Feodorovna | Alix of Hesse-Dramstadt, Czar Nikolai II
Ships: Alexandra/Nikolai
I've always been incredibly fascinated by Russian History, particularly the last Romanovs. The more I read about them, the more I want to discover their relationships, their dynamics, everything about them, particularly their life outside the public, their family life, and Alexandra and Nikolai's relationship. When The Last Czars got released by Netflix then, I immediately binged all six episodes, cried my eyes out at the end, and did way more re-watches than I care to admit. So... If I could receive anything about them - particularly Alexandra and Nikolai, I ship them so hardcore - and even the Romanov children I didn't get to nominate (not necessarily Rasputin, though) - that would be the most perfect thing ever. ♥

Honestly, I just long so desperately for anything and everything regarding that show (and yes, I lean towards what we know from the show more than the real people, even though it's a DocuDrama), so... JUST GIVE ME ANYTHING. Anything at all. ♥ (Perhaps a happy ending for the family? My heart aches so much for them. Absolutely not required, though!)

Addams Family (1964)
Characters: Morticia Addams, Gomez Addams
Ships: Morticia/Gomez
The characters should be quite clear there - there is NOTHING that goes over the beautiful love that Morticia and Gomez share! If you want to create a gen-piece: All perfectly fine with me! But I'd rather you focus on Morticia there, since I have always been so incredibly fascinated by her... If you choose to go with Addams Family, I'd ask you to please stick to the 1964 canon - I've never really gotten into any other portrayals.

Whatever direction you'll choose to go with will be fantastic there - I've been craving some angsty Morticia (or Morticia/Gomez, of course) fic (or generally, an angsty piece) for a long time because I've sort of missed real angst moments in the show - and the few ones were resolved way too quickly tbh - but treats would also just warm my heart! Whatever strikes your fancy will be perfect there. I mean... Couldn't these two be any more perfect in any way? ♥

Again, though, I want you to be happy with what you create - you are the author, and you decide on what to do or where to go. What matters the most is that you enjoy writing and creating. I really cannot wait to see what you come up with!

I cannot necessarily see them celebrate Halloween or anything, but there is so much to set the mood! Autumn, hauntings, slightly spooky stuff... I'm getting so many ideas there, haha!

Addams Family (1964)
Ships: Morticia/Gomez
Oh my God, I adore those two so much it's not even funny anymore. Morticia and Gomez' relationship is so beyond perfect and beautiful and amazing and it just gives me so many feels! (Which I pretty much say about all my OTPs, but it's true!) The series is delightfully fluffy despite the built in gloom and morbidity (which really doesn't appear morbid at all to them and it's just so cute) but there actually have been a couple episodes that had pretty good potential for angst; I would adore an angsty and feelsy Tish/Gomez piece more than anything, ngl! Like with Miss Fisher, I've been craving it for an incredibly long time because I've sort of missed real angst moments in the show - and the few ones were resolved way too quickly - but fluff or flangst would also just warm my heart! (This is one of the few fandoms where I am also not entirely opposed to real, actual fluff, haha.) Whatever strikes your fancy will be perfect there.

As I mentioned before, I will be happy with absolutely anything you choose to create, but I would ask you to stick to TV Show canon and characterisations; I'm not particularly fond of the movies and of what they do with Morticia and Gomez (they have their charm too and their relationship is beautiful as well, but not as the Morticia and Gomez that were introduced to us in the TV Show, so I separate strictly between the canons), so all my love fully focuses on the TV Show characters. And... Honestly... I mean... Couldn't these two be any more perfect for Halloween? ♥

Miss Hardbroom has been my favourite character ever since I was a child watching (and later, re-watching) the 1998 TV Show, and when I stumbled up on the 2017 one now, my love exploded into entirely new spheres, haha. I love Hecate. Honestly, I adore her so much - she's so strict but has this... strict gentility to her, and she always wants the best for her girls, including Mildred. Also, I just love her relationship with Ada, how burningly, fiercely loyal Hecate is to her, and how much these two love each other, even if they only share a glance or two. Whether in the romantic, platonic, or mother-daughterly sense! Everything Hecate/Ada just warms my heart so much, though <333.

And... I mean... I do not think I really have to mention how perfect Worst Witch is for anything Halloween, spooky, seasonal, right? I am squealing already just thinking about it! ♥

Gilmore Girls
Ships: Lorelai/Luke, Emily/Richard
Oh my Goodness, I love that show so much. Besides Charmed, it was my very first favourite TV Show, and the love just remains burning intensely. I have always been a huge, he lover of Emily and Richard, my favourites and my OTP, just because I love their devotion to one another and their family, as well as their hidden quirks, and... Just everything about them (Emily's emotions. OMG.), they're simply the best <3333. I do ship Lorelai and Luke with a passion as well, though, those four are just my all-time favourites <3333.

I'm forever sad that we didn't get to see a much Autumn and Halloween Gilmore as I would have hoped, but this leaves it all to the imagination...! Or maybe a seriously spooky haunting? So. Many. Options.

Memoirs Of A Geisha

Mameha and Hatsumomo, whether as a ship or gen relationship, have SUCH an interesting dynamic... Like, we know they have a backstory, and a large one at that looking at how they knew each other since their childhood, but we never really learn anything about it, except for a few small details. Seriously, though, there is so much to discover, and I've always been so excited to explore it more closely, no matter which aspect of it.

As for Mameha and the Baron... I have such a morbid fascination with these two. Like... I would never want to glorify how abusive and terrifying he was, but... It's so incredibly intense. Like, he was so nasty, but nonetheless Mameha loved that man despite knowing love would break her neck in so many ways and denied it so desperately even though it was so clear, and it's just all a very Maybe I Like It This Way situation. SO much fic and art and angst potential! ♥

So, you see that I generally prefer Tricks over Treats, even though I did request Treats as well. Again, though, whatever you choose to go with, whether it's a Trick or a Treat, I am super excited to receive my gift and will absolutely adore it!

Whatever you do, it also doesn't necessarily have to center around Halloween or Autumn itself - you can go into any direction you like, but it would be perfect, if it could somehow capture the feel of it... In case that makes any kind of sense?

Miss Hardbroom has been my favourite character ever since I was a child watching (and later, re-watching) the 1998 TV Show, and when I stumbled up on the 2017 one now, my love exploded into entirely new spheres, haha. I love Hecate. Honestly, I adore her so much - she's so strict but has this... strict gentility to her, and she always wants the best for her girls, including Mildred.

Also, I just love her relationship with Ada, how burningly, fiercely loyal Hecate is to her, and how much these two love each other, even if they only share a glance or two. Whether in the romantic, platonic, or mother-daughterly sense! Everything Hecate just warms my heart so much, though <333.

I'll be perfectly happy with treats but am generally leaning more towards trick there, just because I love, love, love to see vulnerable!Hecate, and generally a little darker atmosphere, but... Either direction is perfectly fine there.

First of all... Hi! I am beyond excited that we share one fandom (or perhaps even more?) and that this has brought us together on this occasion. I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read (or listen to, in case you are a Podficcer! Podfic will/would be fantastic! :D) in fanfiction. Angsty art is also amazing, though! Just... Angst. I have to say that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid) and crossovers, nor do I like very fluffy fluff in the written word a lot. It doesn't have to be all darkness, destruction and gloom (unless you want it to be! Again, whatever you are comfortable with writing is great), but 100% fluff is not something I particularly enjoy reading/listening to. Looking at it is great, though, I love adorable fluffy artwork! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

Since in this exchange we match on fandoms and not characters, I will list my ultimate favourites for you that give me an explosion of feels but won't go too much into detail about them. I've always been incredibly fascinated by Russian History, particularly the last Romanovs. The more I read about them, the more I want to discover their relationships, their dynamics, everything about them, particularly their life outside the public, their family life, (and Alexandra and Nikolai's relationship). When The Last Czars got released by Netflix then, I immediately binged all six episodes, cried my eyes out at the end, and did way more re-watches than I care to admit. So... If I could receive anything about them - particularly Alexandra (and Nikolai, I ship them so hardcore) - and even the Romanov children I didn't get to nominate (not necessarily Rasputin, though) - that would be the most perfect thing ever. ♥

Honestly, I just long so desperately for anything and everything regarding that show (and yes, I lean towards what we know from the show more than the real people, even though it's a DocuDrama), so... JUST GIVE ME ANYTHING. Anything at all. ♥ My heart beats intensely for Alexandra and the girls. ♥

The Worst Witch 2017
Hecate Hardbroom, Ada Cackle
Miss Hardbroom has been my favourite character ever since I was a child watching (and later, re-watching) the 1998 TV Show, and when I stumbled up on the 2017 one now, my love exploded into entirely new spheres, haha. I love Hecate. Honestly, I adore her so much - she's so strict but has this... strict gentility to her, and she always wants the best for her girls, including Mildred.

I also just love her relationship with Ada, how burningly, fiercely loyal Hecate is to her, and how much these two love each other, even if they only share a glance or two. Whether in the romantic, platonic, or mother-daughterly sense! Everything Hecate just warms my heart so much, though <333. But I do adore Ada by herself as well!

Memoirs Of A Geisha
Mameha, Hatsumomo
Mameha is one of my favourite literary characters ever. This book will forever remain my favourite and I cannot even express the love I feel for Mameha since the first time I read it. Same goes for movie!Mameha! Michelle Yeoh is absolutely GREAT for her and I couldn't picture anything else. All throughout the book, Sayuri has been given such great advice by Mameha over and over again and we got to see so much of her but then at the same time so little. She's so incredibly disciplined and never loses focus, but she is vulnerable, too, and thre have been rare moments where we see that. I do believe she had feelings for the Baron (and probably hated herself for it) and I do believe that she truly liked Sayuri/Chiyo not only because the Chairman set her up to train her. There is SO much to explore with this character, there are such endless possibilities, anything would just totally excite me!

As for Hatsumomo, she just fascinates me. Mameha suggests in the book that she has been a brat and a diva since her childhood, but of course something must be behind there. She's desperate to survive, and she's desperate to seek love and pleasure but that doesn't go together - maybe that's what made her bitter? What did make her bitter, what did in the end make her so cruel? Was it really jealousy of this pretty new girl or just blank fear that she wouldn't be able to survive if someone took her place? Again, there is so much to explore with her, it's just great!

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Phryne Fisher, Elizabeth "Mac" MacMillan
I have no words for how much I adore this show and these two characters. Phryne is so beautiful in each and every way, and Mac... I love Mac just about as much, haha. I totally ship them as well - I can never decide whether I ship Phryne more with Jack or with Mac, but Mac... Whether romantic or not, their relationship is so beautiful and intense and gorgeous, and I adore absolutely every aspect of it!

If you indeed go with Phryne, I've been looking for some angsty vulnerable!Phryne Miss Fisher fic everywhere but to no avail, so of course it would absolutely warm my heart to receive an angsty piece! If it starts going into a different direction, however, that's perfectly fine as well! Anything would be totally amazing <3.

Cracks (2009)
Miss G, Di Radfield
I will say that I am not a huge fan of Fiamma, but otherwise I would be so very excited about pretty much everything and everyone - Cracks is so fascinating, and particularly Miss G's story doesn't really let me go. I would love to know more about her backstory, about how she became the person she is, and... Just everything. The same counts for Di - and especially her relationship to Miss G is so unhealthily intriguing... Did I mention that just about everything about the whole movie is brilliant and needs so much more discovering?

James Bond (Craig Movies)
Vesper Lynd
VESPER VESPER VESPER VESPER, OMG DID I MENTION VESPER ALREADY? There are no words for how much I adore her - her story is so beyond tragic and I truly believe that she loved James with all her heart... Otherwise she wouldn't have acted in the way she has. Vesper is definitely my favourite woman in the entire Craig-Bond-Universe, but I certainly wouldn't say no to discovering M (particularly her relationship to James) or Madeleine either... But Vesper!fic, particularly Vesper/James, would warm my heart so very much.

Honestly, I'm still incredibly new to this show - I'm very slow with it, too, because I try to learn Russian with it, so I watch it with subtitles, but what I can say so far is that Georgy has stolen my heart. I don't know, I feel so hard for that man... Also, Arisa is incredibly fascinating - I still haven't quite figured out her disposition, neither do I really know where to put her... She's a whole big mystery. This entire show is somewhat a whole big mystery to me, I will admit. But a mystery hat has lured me in entirely.

Again, though, I want you to be happy with what you create - you are the author, and you decide on what to do or where to go. What matters the most is that you enjoy writing and creating. I really cannot wait to see what you come up with!

Whatever you do, it also doesn't necessarily have to center around Halloween or Autumn itself - you can go into any direction you like, but it would be perfect, if it could somehow capture the feel of it... In case that makes any kind of sense?

I picked "both" on the "Trick or Treat" front, but am sort of leaning towards the direction of tricks rather than treats, but that is just my general angst adoration - if you feel like creating a treat, that's amazing! I've requested both because I love both :D

The Mummy Series

One pairing I have come to ship fiercely are Evelyn and Rick O'Connell. I don't really have too much to say about them except that I turn into a giant bundle of feels when I think of them and that, if you don't choose to go the shipper way, Evie!centric fic would be amazing. "The Mummy Returns" is my favourite movie in the series I refuse to acknowledge the third one, mostly because it is so great to see that after nearly a decade Evie and Rick's relationship has blossomed in the way it did, and that they have crafted a truly strong, unbreakable bond that connects them, which is absolutely beautiful. I will be perfectly happy with any spot in the timeline you pick before the third movie, but "The Mummy Returns" canon would absolutely warm my heart and make me squeal out loud!

I'll be perfectly happy with treats but am generally leaning more towards trick there, just because most of the dramatic parts in the movies still had their fair share of comedic relief elements, and... I just love angst. I love angst so much, haha.

Cracks (2009)

Honestly, I'm in love with pretty much everyone in that movie. (I have read and do like the book a lot, too, but this is one of the rare cases where I actually prefer the movie.) While I think Di ends up being my favourite character, Miss G is definitely the one that fascinates me the most - Eva Green is just AMAZING in showing all the different aspect of this crazy complex character: The temptress of young girls, the teacher everyone loves, the slightly manic woman and the utterly desperate girl who never got out of the boarding school that broke her and many, many others. So... Exploring Miss G further would be great. Exploring Di further would be great since she is actually the only one who managed to break away from this once she realised what was going on. Basically, all the relationships amongst the girls and Miss G are just so brilliantly woven together and UGH, anything and everyone in this whole movie is just brilliant!

The angstier the better there, of course! There is just SO MUCH angst potential in this whole movie, and in the whole book, it's amazing.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

Oh God, I have no words for how very much in love I am with this show. I'm only at the end of the first season (but I don't mind spoilers), and honestly, I adore Phryne. I truly do. I could write novels about how much I adore her, haha. And I really couldn't decide with whom I ship her more - Jack or Mac. Speaking of Mac, I LOVE her. She's lured me in from the first moment on, just like Phryne herself! And she's such a tragic character, really, OMG.

I picked "trick" alone for this fandom because I've been looking for proper angsty ~~vulnerable!Phryne~~ Miss Fisher fic everywhere but to no avail, so of course it would absolutely warm my heart to receive an angsty piece! If it turns more into a treat, however, that's perfectly fine as well! Anything would be totally amazing <3.

Addams Family (1964)

The characters should be quite clear there - there is NOTHING that goes over the beautiful love that Morticia and Gomez share! If you want to create a gen-piece: All perfectly fine with me! But I'd rather you focus on Morticia there, since I have always been so incredibly fascinated by her... If you choose to go with Addams Family, I'd ask you to please stick to the 1964 canon - I've never really gotten into any other portrayals.

Whatever direction you'll choose to go with will be fantastic there - I've been craving some angsty Morticia (or Morticia/Gomez, of course) fic (or generally, an angsty piece) for a long time because I've sort of missed real angst moments in the show - and the few ones were resolved way too quickly tbh - but treats would also just warm my heart! Whatever strikes your fancy will be perfect there. I mean... Couldn't these two be any more perfect for Halloween? ♥

GENERAL:
I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read in fanfiction. Angsty art is also amazing, though! I have to say that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid - I didn't request it, but it's always a good example) and crossovers (except for maybe a Narcissa Malfoy / Catelyn Stark or Druella Black / TV!Morticia Addams fic because those would be amazing), nor do I like very fluffy fluff in the written word a lot. It doesn't have to be all darkness, destruction and gloom (unless you want it to be!), but 100% fluff is not something I particularly enjoy reading. Looking at it is great, though, I love adorable fluffy artwork! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

Below you will find the relatively basic information about my requests - and I think my requests when it comes to Spooky/Seasonal/No Theme should be relatively logical when it comes to the fandoms... Just as an example, how cool would a Miss Fisher case set around Halloween be? Or, the self-explanatory Addams Family? ANYWAY. Again, I am incredibly excited to see what you come up with, and I'll absolutely adore it! ♥

FANDOMS:

Memoirs Of A Geisha
Ships: Mameha & Hatsumomo, Mameha/The Baron, Hatsumomo/Mameha
Mameha and Hatsumomo, whether as a ship or gen relationship, have SUCH an interesting dynamic... Like, we know they have a backstory, and a large one at that looking at how they knew each other since their childhood, but we never really learn anything about it, except for a few small details. Seriously, though, there is so much to discover, and I've always been so excited to explore it more closely, no matter which aspect of it.

As for Mameha and the Baron... I have such a morbid fascination with these two. Like... I would never want to glorify how abusive and terrifying he was, but... It's so incredibly intense. Like, he was so nasty, but nonetheless Mameha loved that man despite knowing love would break her neck in so many ways and denied it so desperately even though it was so clear, and it's just all a very Maybe I Like It This Way situation. SO much fic and art and angst potential! ♥

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Ships: Phryne Fisher/Jack Robinson, Phryne Fisher & Elizabeth MacMillan, Phryne Fisher/Elizabeth MacMillan
Oh God, I have no words for how very much in love I am with this show. Honestly, I adore Phryne. I truly do. I could write novels about how much I adore her, haha. And I really couldn't decide with whom I ship her more - Jack or Mac. They both have such beautiful dynamics, and Mac is such a beautifully tragic character... They could have such a lovely, bitterswet relationship... GAAAH, that would be amazing. ♥

I've been looking for some angsty vulnerable!Phryne (it will certainly be fascinating to Jack AND Mac to watch her in a state like this, since she's usually so beyond strong and only tends to let go for a moment when she's alone) Miss Fisher fic (or artwork) everywhere but to no avail, so of course it would absolutely warm my heart to receive an angsty piece! If it starts going into a different direction, however, that's perfectly fine as well! Anything would be totally amazing <3.

Addams Family (1964)
Ships: Morticia/Gomez
Oh my God, I adore those two so much it's not even funny anymore. Morticia and Gomez' relationship is so beyond perfect and beautiful and amazing and it just gives me so many feels! (Which I pretty much say about all my OTPs, but it's true!) The series is delightfully fluffy despite the built in gloom and morbidity (which really doesn't appear morbid at all to them and it's just so cute) but there actually have been a couple episodes that had pretty good potential for angst; I would adore an angsty and feelsy Tish/Gomez piece more than anything, ngl! Like with Miss Fisher, I've been craving it for an incredibly long time because I've sort of missed real angst moments in the show - and the few ones were resolved way too quickly - but fluff or flangst would also just warm my heart! (This is one of the few fandoms where I am also not entirely opposed to real, actual fluff, haha.) Whatever strikes your fancy will be perfect there.

As I mentioned before, I will be happy with absolutely anything you choose to create, but I would ask you to stick to TV Show canon and characterisations; I'm not particularly fond of the movies and of what they do with Morticia and Gomez (they have their charm too and their relationship is beautiful as well, but not as the Morticia and Gomez that were introduced to us in the TV Show, so I separate strictly between the canons), so all my love fully focuses on the TV Show characters. And... Honestly... I mean... Couldn't these two be any more perfect for Halloween? ♥

The Mummy Series
Ships: Evy Carnahan O'Connell/Rick O'Connell, Anck Su Namun/Imhotep
One pairing I have come to ship fiercely, forgotten about for a while and re-discovered with doubled intensity, are Evelyn and Rick O'Connell. I don't really have too much to say about them except that, once again, I turn into a giant bundle of feels when I think of them. My favourite movie in the series is "The Mummy Return", mostly because it is so great to see that after nearly a decade their relationship has blossomed in the way it did, and that they have crafted a truly strong, unbreakable bond that connects them, which is absolutely beautiful. I would much prefer the piece to revolve around the "Mummy Returns" timeline, but as long as you stick to Rachel Weisz as Evie, everything will be great!

As for Anck Su Namun and Imhotep... I've actually never requested them, or thought much about them, but as I was signing up and saw them in the options list, the more I considered... And I would love to explore their dynamics more. I always feel so bad for Imhotep because he truly loves her, and she just uses him... But what about her past? Did she really never love him? Or did she just grow cold over the years? I'm actually starting to ship them just from thinking of these things, haha, so exploring these two a little more would be just great!

The genres I requested for the different fandoms should overlap mostly entirely, and are probably absolutely not surprising - there are tiny variations from fandom to fandom, but here are my favourites aka the ones that I very likely always picked; you will find that they all follow a slight pattern:

Harry Potter
Characters: Narcissa Malfoy, Druella Black
Relationships: Lucius/Narcissa, Narcissa & Andromeda
Oh, my beloved Blacks - I could write novels on how very, very, VERY much I adore them! My love for Druella (dreamcast Rachel Weisz, just to give you a brief idea) is based on a hugely elaborate head-canon that I developed for her, but won't share because I would very much like to see your own take on her... There are only two things I will ask of you, though: First of all, if you do write her as one half of a ship, PLEASE only go with Cygnus (dreamcast Sean Bean). Druella/Cygnus are probably my most intensely-loved OTP and I will die defending them - don't make Cygnus abusive, I've always pictured him as an incredibly devoted and loving husband. Secondly, in my eyes Druella adores her daughters more than anything else in this world, so please, whether or not she actually shows it, don't make her cold-hearted and uncaring towards her children. Otherwise, I'd be beyond thrilled to see what you come up with when it comes to her!

As for Narcissa... I equally adore her - there are so many aspects of her personality (and life) to explore, there is so much devotion, so much hidden vulnerability... So much of everything. My second ultimate OTP is Lucius/Narcissa, who I believe love each other so beyond words... As for Narcissa and Andromeda... Whether you'd like to write these as a simple platonic sister-sister-relationship (that I also always thought was very intense) or as a... less-platonic one is absolutely up to you, I find both equally fascinating. Anything about them, anything about my preferred characters and ships at all, would be simply amazing!

Addams Family (1964)

Relationships: Morticia/Gomez
Oh my God, I adore those two so much it's not even funny anymore. Morticia and Gomez' relationship is so beyond perfect and beautiful and amazing and it just gives me so many feels! Mameha is one of my favourite literary characters ever. This book will forever remain my favourite and I cannot even express the love I feel for Mameha since the first time I read it. Same goes for movie!Mameha! Michelle Yeoh is absolutely GREAT for her and I couldn't picture anything else. All throughout the book, Sayuri has been given such great advice by Mameha over and over again and we got to see so much of her but then at the same time so little. She's so incredibly disciplined and never loses focus, but she is vulnerable, too, and thre have been rare moments where we see that. I do believe she had feelings for the Baron (and probably hated herself for it) and I do believe that she truly liked Sayuri/Chiyo not only because the Chairman set her up to train her. There is SO much to explore with this character, there are such endless possibilities, anything would just totally excite me!

As for Hatsumomo, she just fascinates me. Mameha suggests in the book that she has been a brat and a diva since her childhood, but of course something must be behind there. She's desperate to survive, and she's desperate to seek love and pleasure but that doesn't go together - maybe that's what made her bitter? What did make her bitter, what did in the end make her so cruel? Was it really jealousy of this pretty new girl or just blank fear that she wouldn't be able to survive if someone took her place? Again, there is so much to explore with her, it's just great!

If you'd like to write a fic where they both encounter... AMAZING! Anything involving those two would simply warm my heart beyond words, they just need so much more love.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Characters: Elizabeth MacMillan
Relationships: Phryne/Jack
Oh, Mac... Sweet, amazing Mac - I have no words for how much I adore her. She's my one ultimate favourite character beside Phryne, and... I adore her. I really do. She is so gorgeous and intelligent and vulnerable, and she deserves so so so much more attention - an intense character study about her... It would be amazing! I do ship her a lot with Phryne - equally much as I ship Phryne with Jack, I can never decide on who I actually prefer - but either a shippy or a gen piece would be great there.

About Phryne/Jack... The chemistry between them... It's just perfect - so much potential there, SO MUCH PERFECTION, SO MUCH MORE TO DISCOVER. Even though something within me tells me that somehow they will find each other again one day - that last scene in his bakery had SO MUCH POTENTIAL THERE! They need to find each other again... But no matter what, they are simply the cutest ship... I love them so much, OMG. And I know that they were nominated together, but if you would like to write a Queenie solo piece... I'd totally be up for that, too! Same goes with involving Tina and/or other characters.

My true OTP in this show has always been Emily/Richard. I love them so much, I have no words for them, but... I adore them. I adore their love for each other, I adore everythinga bout them. Every moment between them, even the angsty and sad ones, even the ones in their time of separation, has been a delight to watch, and... Emily's grief in the revival broke my heart. It broke my heart into a thousand pieces. As for Lorelai/Luke - I've shipped them so incredibly hard from the very first second on, and GOD it's only getting more intense, haha. There is so much love amongst the two of them, so much love I feel for them, and generally so much adoration around... It's beautiful - from their slightly awkward beginnings to the relationship with all its ups and downs and then the end... The beautiful happy ending.. It's amazing. Everything about them is amazing and I really honestly could not imagine them with anyone else but... Well, each other!

I also do love the angsty side of Gilmore Girls, but then, I think I've already mentioned more than once that I am just a true sucker for ALL THE ANGST EVER. Whether you go with the show timeline, with the revival, or something in between... Anything will be perfect - I do adore the revival as well, so you cannot go wrong at all with anything!

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

Oh God, I have no words for how very much in love I am with this show. I'm only at the end of the first season (but I don't mind spoilers), and honestly, I adore Phryne. I truly do. I could write novels about how much I adore her, haha. And I really couldn't decide with whom I ship her more - Jack or Mac. Mac unfortunately wasn't an option to be shipped with Phryne, but their platonic relatioship is also gorgeous. It's built up on so much trust and love... I adore it!

Just like with Addams Family, I've been looking for some angsty vulnerable!Phryne (it will certainly be fascinating to Jack AND Mac to watch her in a state like this, since she's usually so beyond strong) Miss Fisher fic (or artwork) everywhere but to no avail, so of course it would absolutely warm my heart to receive an angsty piece! If it starts going into a different direction, however, that's perfectly fine as well! Anything would be totally amazing <3.

The Mummy Series

One pairing I have come to ship fiercely, forgotten about for a while and re-discovered with doubled intensity, are Evelyn and Rick O'Connell. I don't really have too much to say about them except that I turn into a giant bundle of feels when I think of them and that Evie!centric (or Evie!POV) fic/artwork would be amazing. My favourite movie in the series is The Mummy Returns, mostly because it is so great to see that after nearly a decade their relationship has blossomed in the way it did, and that they have crafted a truly strong, unbreakable bond that connects them, which is absolutely beautiful. I would much prefer the piece to revolve around the Mummy Returns timeline, but as long as you stick to Rachel Weisz as Evie, everything will be great!

Memoirs Of A Geisha
Relationships - Platonic: Mameha & Hatsumomo, Mameha & Nobu
This might be one of my only fandoms that make it difficult for me to ship anyone - I have this incredibly odd fascination that is far from shipping when it comes to Mameha and the Baron and their rather terrifying, unhealthy relationship (I firmly believe that she loved him, and incredibly unhappily so), but otherwise... No ships there at all. Except that I could see some slight Mameha/Hatsumomo tendencies - you are very welcome to convince me about them, haha! They're certainly intriguing.

Speaking of Mameha, though, she has ALWAYS been my favourite and I adore her beyond words, so both relationships involve her - I've always been super intrigued by her relationship to Hatsumomo, especially since they have known each other basically their whole lives, and I wonder if there is more between that rivalry were are shown in the book and movie... And about Mameha and Nobu... I honestly don't think I have anything to say about them, so go wild!

Gilmore Girls
Relationships - Romantic: Lorelai/Luke
Relationships - Platonic: Emily & Lorelai
My true OTP next to Lorelai/Luke in the show unfortunately wasn't nominated: Emily/Richard. I love them so much, I have no words for them, but... Let's focus on the two that WERE nominated. First of all, Lorelai/Luke - I've shipped them so incredibly hard from the very first second on, and GOD it's only getting more intense, haha. There is so much love amongst the two of them, so much love I feel for them, and generally so much adoration around... It's beautiful - from their slightly awkward beginnings to the relationship with all its ups and downs and then the end... The beautiful happy ending.. It's amazing. Everything about them is amazing and I really honestly could not imagine them with anyone else but... Well, each other!

As for Emily and Lorelai... I love them too. I love them so much, and I think I'm slightly repeating myself, but you see that I have a lot of intense Gilmore Girls feels. Emily is my favourite character, Lorelai is runner up, and their relationship... I love how incredibly similar they are and how they both just don't see it at all. I love Emily's massive vulnerability (as well as Lorelai's and their mutual ignorance towards the others lol) and the intense love she feels for her daughter, but the incapability of showing it... There are so many stories untold in all eight seasons of the show, there is so much to read between the lines, so much potential for fic and artwork... It's perfect. They are perfect, and I just adore them so very, very much...

I also do love the angsty side of Gilmore Girls, but then, I think I've already mentioned more than once that I am just a true sucker for ALL THE ANGST EVER. Whether you go with the show timeline, with the revival, or something in between... Anything will be perfect - I do adore the revival as well, so you cannot go wrong at all with anything!

Again, though, I want you to be happy with what you create - you decide what to do. What matters the most is that you enjoy working on the piece. Thank you so very, very much in advance, I really cannot wait to see what you come up with! ♥

First of all - hi! I'm really excited to be receiving a gift in this exchange from you. To make things rather brief, let me tell you that I will be absolutely happy with anything you create for me; what matters the most is that you are happy and comfortable with your piece. I, however, am a complete sucker for anything dark-ish, mysterious and particularly angsty (angst is my crack while pure fluff is not something I usually read, Crueltide is the keyword).

Generally I'm pretty open for anything, just please try to stay away from heavy graphic torture (including mutilation and the like as well as overly gory, graphic descriptions), PWP fics (I am generally not a huge lover of smut fic, so if you choose to stay away from it completely, that's perfectly fine with me!) m-preg, kinks such as watersports or scat, crossovers in general and extreme AUs (a good example for that would be modern!AU in the ASOIAF fandom which of course doesn't apply to Yuletide but should give an idea of what I mean). Otherwise, anything else is game!

There is simply NOTHING that goes over the beautiful love that Morticia and Gomez share! If you want to create a gen-piece rather than a shippy fic: All perfectly fine with me! But I'd rather you focus on Morticia there, since I have always been so incredibly fascinated by her... If you choose to go with Addams Family, I'd ask you to please stick to the 1964 canon - I've never really gotten into any other portrayals and could never see anyone but Carolyn Jones and John Astin as the "true" Morticia and Gomez.

Whatever direction you'll choose to go with will be fantastic there - I've been craving some angsty Morticia (or Morticia/Gomez, of course) fic for an incredibly long time because I've sort of missed real angst moments in the show - and the few ones were resolved way too quickly - but fluff or flangst would also just warm my heart! Mameha is one of my favourite literary characters ever. This book will forever remain my favourite and I cannot even express the love I feel for Mameha since the first time I read it. Same goes for movie!Mameha! Michelle Yeoh is absolutely GREAT for her and I couldn't picture anything else. All throughout the book, Sayuri has been given such great advice by Mameha over and over again and we got to see so much of her but then at the same time so little. She's so incredibly disciplined and never loses focus, but she is vulnerable, too, and thre have been rare moments where we see that. I do believe she had feelings for the Baron (and probably hated herself for it) and I do believe that she truly liked Sayuri/Chiyo not only because the Chairman set her up to train her. There is SO much to explore with this character, there are such endless possibilities, anything would just totally excite me!

As for Hatsumomo, she just fascinates me. Mameha suggests in the book that she has been a brat and a diva since her childhood, but of course something must be behind there. She's desperate to survive, and she's desperate to seek love and pleasure but that doesn't go together - maybe that's what made her bitter? What did make her bitter, what did in the end make her so cruel? Was it really jealousy of this pretty new girl or just blank fear that she wouldn't be able to survive if someone took her place? Again, there is so much to explore with her, it's just great!

The Mummy Series

What I would like you to know is that, to me, it is most important that what you write or create is something you are comfortable with and that you enjoy writing/creating the art; you will find a list of things I love below, but these are merely suggestions, because no matter what direction you end up going to, I sure am going to love it!

GENERAL:
I love angst. Anything angsty, really, angst is my crack and my favourite thing to read in fanfiction. Angsty art is also amazing, though! I have to say that, while I adore dark pieces in general, I am not fond of the extremes; so I'd prefer if there were no highly graphic stuff - no heavy torture or kinks (including PWP, m-preg, mutilation, etc) please, if possible! What I do not enjoy as much either are extreme AUs (i.e. modern!AU for ASOIAF, which is something I highly avoid - I didn't request it, but it's always a good example) and crossovers (except for maybe a Narcissa Malfoy / Catelyn Stark or Druella Black / TV!Morticia Addams fic because those would be amazing), nor do I like very fluffy fluff in the written word a lot. It doesn't have to be all darkness, destruction and gloom (unless you want it to be!), but 100% fluff is not something I particularly enjoy reading. Looking at it is great, though, I love adorable fluffy artwork! I do have a very soft spot for hurt/comfort and hints of romance in an angsty/dark piece, though.

So, you see that I generally prefer Tricks over Treats, even though I did request Treats in some of the fandoms. Again, though, whatever you choose to go with, whether it's a Trick or a Treat, I am super excited to receive my gift and will absolutely adore it!

Honestly, I'm in love with pretty much everyone in that movie. (I do like the book a lot, too, but this is one of the rare cases where I actually prefer the movie.) While I think Di ends up being my favourite character, Miss G is definitely the one that fascinates me the most - Eva Green is just AMAZING in showing all the different aspect of this crazy complex character: The temptress of young girls, the teacher everyone loves, the slightly manic woman and the utterly desperate girl who never got out of the boarding school that broke her and many, many others. So... Exploring Miss G further would be great. Exploring Di further would be great since she is actually the only one who managed to break away from this once she realised what was going on. Basically, all the relationships amongst the girls and Miss G are just so brilliantly woven together and UGH, anything and everyone in this whole movie is just brilliant!

The angstier the better there, of course! There is just SO MUCH angst potential in this whole movie, and in the whole book, it's amazing.

Ships: Narcissa/Andromeda, Bellatrix/Narcissa, Bellatrix/Andromeda, Narcissa/Daphne, Andromeda/Daphne
You see that I have a very soft spot for the Black sisters! I've always believed that when they were young they had an incredibly close and in tense relationship to one another, and then sometimes that relationship just went beyond the sisterly "limits", and turned into a lot more. There doesn't have to be any explicit sex involved, I've actually always enjoyed the pieces that show the whole emotional aspect and their dependence on each other and more strongly suggest the sexual actions than anything else, but whatever you choose to go with, it'll be amazing!

Generally, Narcissa/Andromeda is my strongest ship of these - because I think that they have the strongest bond of all, and their love is probably the purest and most genuine of all the Blackcest ships. But I love all of the ones I listed, so don't let me influence you there! Bellatrix I always pictured the driving force in the other relationships, and maybe there's power-play involved, certainly there has to be some kind of obsession... There are so many possibilities for all of the combinations!

As for Narcissa/Daphne and Andromeda/Daphne... These are my post-war ships, and I ship them for the very same reason: Because Daphne, in my headcanon, very, very much resembles Narcissa. From Andromeda's point of view, I've always believed that she is very much reminded of Cissy in the way she knew her, the innocent, beautiful Narcissa she knew before the war, before everything fell apart... And Narcissa is also reminded of herself, of how she used to be before these dark times... Which is why they're both super drawn to Daphne. But, again, if you have entirely different interpretations of any of these ships, I'm more than happy to see them!

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries

Oh, my latest beloved fandom and ship! <3 I will admit that I'm only at the end of Season One with this show so far, but I am so very, very much in love with it. I officially don't even know yet that Mac is homosexual, but I've always sort of shipped them from the first episode on, and when my theory was confirmed after reading up a bit, I drowned in feels for them.

I've always pictured their love to be a sort of tragic one - this secret dangerous thing that even Phryne doesn't take easy like almost everything else (because we saw what happens to same-sex relationships in 1920s Australia), this fun fling at first perhaps but then a true, deep and deeply tragic devotion for another and just SO MUCH LOVE! There are so many possibilities for them, it's amazing. Whatever you decide to go with, however you decide to portray them if you choose to create Phryne/Mac for me... I'm sure it'll be fantastic, and I'll absolutely adore the piece for certain!

I'm actually not really sure what to say about them, haha. Mameha has ALWAYS been my one favourite character, and Hatsumomo is the runner up there. I've always sort of squealed when coming across a passage in the book that showed Mameha and Hatsumomo having something of a past, and in the past years I've also sort of developed shipper feelings for them. I really don't have any headcanon for them at all, so I couldn't even give you a hint of a direction to go into, but then, again, whatever you choose to go with is going to be absolutely amazing! Whether their love is pure and truthful, obsessive and driven by once force, or something entirely different... I'm excited to see what you come up with, in case you choose the Geisha part!

Cracks
Ship: Miss G/Di
Miss G is such an INCREDIBLY fascinating character. There is so much obsession in her, the entire movie nearly EXPLODES with obsession, with tension, and Di is actually so very similar to her former idol. And them together... Wow, there is so much shipper potential, and did I mention that there is so much obsession and so much twisted love? Them together... Wow. Just wow.

I've also read the book, but in that case, I way prefer the movie - Eva Green and Juno Temple are sheer perfection, and I couldn't imagine Miss G and Di being any different than they were in this amazing movie.

I am also very fascinated by Narcissa/Andromeda - I've always pictured the sisters to be incredibly close, sometimes closer than just sisters... That is enough said, anything else is entirely up to you - but what all of my ships have in common is that they adore each other, that they all share a strong bond of love that cannot be torn apart. Family dynamics would also be absolutely fascinating!

One thing I ask of you: Please don't make either Cygnus or Lucius abusive - I have always pictured them as most loving fathers and husbands, troubled, of course, but never abusive in any way or form towards their women. Abuse is amongst the requests, I know, but there are other ways to execute it, not through the couples/family themselves!

For Harry Potter (and generally most of these fandoms), the tags I picked are more focused on illnesses and injuries, physical and mental. How would the characters cope with a terminal illness/injury, or with being haunted by images of war? What would Lucius do, if his wife were torn apart by self-hatred? There are so many options! Also for self-sacrifice, for enduring pain for each other's protection... Go wild!

Catelyn has always been my favourite character in both books and show - I devoured her chapters, and her moments on screen, and honestly, I still miss her. Catelyn/Ned is one of my only ships and my true OTP, also in both book and show. When it comes to Lady Stoneheart - I find her to be an utterly tragic and no less fascinating character... To see what has become of mostly-gentle Catelyn, what the war has done to her, what death has done to her... There are SO many possibilities to explore!

My additional tag requests are pretty similar to those in the Harry Potter section - a lot of emotional anguish, self-sacrifice and other things related to that. I think it's all pretty self-explanatory in the end... Again, pick whatever strikes your fancy, I am sure that it will be absolutely amazing.

But I'd rather you focus on Morticia there, since I have always been so incredibly fascinated by her... If you choose to go with Addams Family, I'd ask you to please stick to the 1964 canon - I've never really gotten into any other portrayals.

My requests here are also rather focused on illnesses and relatable things. I could see Morticia rather than Gomez fall ill, whether physically or mentally, and I can see a lot of options for lots of very emotional things there! Morticia has always been the voice of reason in the show, so it would be extra fascinating to me to explore what happened if her senses, her body, or both failed her... Or if she merely had twenty-four hours to live, if she succumbed to alcohol or other substances... Who knows! There are so many things to look into.

Ships: N/A, mostly. I do have an odd fascination for Mameha/Baron, though. If you can get me into Mameha/Hatsumomo - even better!
Mameha is BY FAR my favourite character there, and I could see so many things of my requested tags to happen there - same with Hatsumomo, because we already know that she has so many problems in canon... I was hesitant to name a ship for this fandom, but Mameha's denial of her love for the Baron has always fascinated me so much - he is a terrible man, highly likely also abusive, but somehow... Somehow she's in love with him, and somehow she grieves him when he dies.

The world of geisha is incredibly cruel, with so much pressure... So what if Mameha (or Hatsumomo?) breaks beneath it? What if she loses her mind, what if her body fails her, what if the Baron's (or someone else's) abuse becomes unbearable, or she almost starves herself to death for her profession? Again, so many options, so many things to explore... I couldn't even list them all, but those are - just like in the other sections - simply suggestions!

Miss G is such an INCREDIBLY fascinating character. There is so much obsession in her, the entire movie nearly EXPLODES with obsession, with tension, and Di is actually so very similar to her former idol. The tags there are pretty much self-explanatory, both Miss G and Di are broken, Miss G more, Di less... Whatever strikes your fancy there, I am absolutely thrilled to read/see it.

I've also read the book, but in that case, I way prefer the movie - Eva Green and Juno Temple are sheer perfection, and I couldn't imagine Miss G and Di being any different than they were in this amazing movie.
