Seems unrelated … way up by Chicago [June 10]
The search for a tritium leak at the Dresden Generating Station in Morris entered its third day Monday. Evidence of a leak turned up Saturday when environmental officials identified tritiated water in one of the Morris facility’s water storage tanks. . . .

Note – common tritium leaks at those NPPs up Chicago way are never punished. Water entirely contaminated by them.

Radioactivity is not the only way for tritiated water to cause damage &/or sterility. It’s higher viscosity, differing molar mass, thermal properties, and ability to form stronger bonds make it lethal for some plants/small animals, including curious and poorly understood circadian periodicity changes.
They say deuterium is safe for humans, and that you would have to drink a colossal amount; yet i wonder if that takes anything into consideration about tritium’s (i read “tritiated water’s”) toxicological/epigenetic affects ???
I like dumping the bottom part of a kettle after boiling it …
