FloofStack Sixth Edition
Welcome to the sixth edition of FloofStack!
I have good news and bad news.
Bad news first: No community cats this edition! Where y’all cats at? I refuse to believe that there are more people taking photos of their dogs than we do of our cats. At least half of my phone storage is cat photos, so I know they’re out there!
Good news: Well, it does mean I get to share more photos of my cats…
Community floofs
Sam’s still part of the community!
And here are some more from Chilli, my sister’s cat.
Writers and their cats
Alice Walker of The Color Purple fame, shared of her relationship with her cats in Anything We Love Can Be Saved: A Writer’s Activism:
“My cat lived a very rough life before she arrived in my home. She has one tooth that’s broken and another that’s kind of long on the other side. She’s snaggletoothed. A stranger might look at her and say, ‘Oh, she has imperfect teeth.’ But I look at her and see the absolute perfection — the charming perfection — of her imperfection. It gives me so much information about the kind of life she has had, and the kind of soul she has probably fashioned.”

(Old) Cat news
This is relatively old news, but I only just learned that the Korkeasaari Zoo in Helsinki, Finland welcomed its first baby manul cat (Pallas Cat) late last year, and well… I see kitten, I must pats.
Wherever you are, I hope you and your floofs have a wonderful festive season. Please take plenty of pics and please share!

What is it about cats and puzzles? Why must they lie on top of them?
