Want to organize an outing that's not only fun but also makes a real impact? With plastic fishing in The Hague, you can combine a relaxing trip on the water with an active contribution to a cleaner environment. Together with colleagues, friends, or family, you'll fish plastic waste from the canals – a unique mix of fun, team building, and awareness.
At Flitz-Events, we believe a day out should be meaningful. Plastic Fishing offers just that: sailing together, working together, and doing something good for the city at the same time.
Plastic fishing – also known as plastic soup fishing – is a sustainable activity in which you take a boat out into the canals of The Hague to collect litter from the water.
Armed with nets, gloves, and garbage bags, you'll actively search for plastic debris floating on the water. From cans and plastic bags to caps and bottles – everything you collect from the water contributes to a cleaner The Hague.
As you sail past historic buildings and charming quays, you'll combine relaxation with social engagement. A day out that touches both the heart and the environment.
"Plastic fishing combines fun with awareness of tackling the plastic soup. An activity with a good cause."

Plastic fishing is an ideal sustainable company outing. Teams work together to collect as much waste as possible. Communication, collaboration, and engagement are key.
During this activity, you'll discover the city in a unique way. You'll see the royal city from the water and experience the canals from a new perspective.
To make plastic fishing even more fun, you can add a competitive element to the activity. For example, you could choose to work in teams of two to see which team fills the most garbage bags with plastic waste. Or choose to incorporate various challenges into the game, such as who finds the most unique piece of plastic or who retrieves a specific object from the water the fastest.
Be creative and discover the possibilities on board during an afternoon of collecting plastic on our sloop. Do you fish the most beautiful piece of plastic from the canal?
