Art commission for aalll my SPN AU multiverse stories! <3

By the amazingly talented midnightsilvers Isn't it fabulous? :D Please go and check out more of their art, because it is simply divine. They work on any-and-everything SPN flavoured, so there is something to suit everyone, regardless of ship or rating preferences. Even if you don't know the fandom, you can still enjoy the beautiful artwork.

This collage represents all the Deans (and a lot of the Sams) from my thirteen canon-adjacent AU series, which I've been invested in since I started writing again. They revolve around a central Sam, the key person in every Dean's life, wonderfully imagined by MidnightSilver with those illuminating rays that chase away the shadows. Now that I've worked out the technical issues, I'll make a second post with the individual (larger) portraits, so I can link them to ao3, and you can check them out in style!

You can find all the fanfic series here on ao3, grouped around short flavour pieces or vignettes which lead on to longer stories and other related works in each AU. (Note that they are all still a work in progress, so some series have more content than others.) Below, I've put a short explanation for each portrait around the collage, linking to the correct vignette.

Fair warning to readers: my writing is Wincest oriented, so even in platonic series, there's a marked tendency towards 'Gencest' (over-familiar co-dependence) and by the time they're finished, any series may veer towards Sam/Dean. Most works (even in the Wincest AUs) aren't sexually explicit, and all of the vignettes linked here are rated at or below PG-13, but heed the tags and ratings if you want to avoid the more graphic stories. I do warn for specific content so you can read around those scenes and still enjoy the story, as not everyone likes porn with their slash!

9. Dean sacrificing himself as the lockdown vessel for a very scary and insane Michael in Vessel Verse.

10. Dean and Sam together after he finds another way to resurrect Sam in the s2 finale and avoids going to Hell, in Isis Verse. The foundation story of this series, 'The Winchester Myth' was also illustrated by MidnightSilver for last year's SPN Big Bang!

11. Demon!Dean alone and grieving after the s10 finale, with the shadow of Sam's memory, in Mark Verse because he said 'yes' to Death.

12. Dean in his new birthday collar, from a story in Bound Verse. This AU is about consensual bondage (collaring) as a method of dealing with trauma.

13. Dean in his half sealion merman form, that Sam gave him to save him from Hell in Sea Verse. A PWP interlude, 'Anatomy Lesson' (explicit Wincest) was also illustrated by MidnightSilver!

The basic concept for this piece is something I've imagined for a while, but I'm a writer, not an artist. I finally decided to take the plunge with my 2021 Christmas money and commissioned MidnightSilver. I knew they would be perfect for the job, but they exceeded my expectations and blew me away, like they do every time! They are (imo) one of the best artists in this fandom; I love the sheer amount of detail they can squeeze into the simplest sketches, the depth of facial expression, and the way they can somehow turn monochrome into liquid light that shines right off the page. They have a knack for interpreting my favourite details from my writing, so that it's as if we share a muse! Thank you, my friend, for this beautiful, awesome piece which encapsulates so much of my treasured imagination. You are a star!

New fanfic - Miracle

As promised, here's my link to ao3 for my newest story! I am currently working on the 2021 SPN Big Bang, but wrote this as a quick prompt challenge with a friend to get the creative juices flowing. I did give it a basic edit but it's essentially the raw output of my brain over a little more than an hour, to nothing more than a one-word prompt.

SPN fanfic masterlist on ao3

So I was just updating my Supernatural fanfic masterlist on ao3 and it came home to me that I have written for five community challenges in the past year, and am now writing my sixth! (And first Big Bang, although most of the others are BBs length-wise.) Most of these challenges are hosted on LJ so people are going to find my journal and it only makes sense to cross-post!

I'm not going to start posting actual fic on here, but I'll post links from now on whenever I write something. My Big Bang will be my fiftieth SPN fanwork! (Not counting the above linked masterlist, which has filk just to meet ao3 posting guidelines.) Woohoo!

Canon-adjacent Wincest AU Series (works in progress) - I have stories outlined for at least a dozen series, but these are the major ones which already contain several works.

Bound Verse: - Mild consensual bondage. Dean is collared to Sam in a (initially) non-sexual D/S relationship to help him deal with trauma. Founding story: "Naga".

Fang Verse: - Dean is a vampire, as he can't be cured after Sam lets him be turned in 6:05 'Live Free or Twihard'.

Omega Verse: - Alpha!Sam, Omega!Dean. Canon compliant, no dystopia. Just ABO flavoured Wincest, with pre-series backstory.

Sea Verse: - Sam makes a deal with the fabled Sea Witch to save Dean from Hell, but Dean is turned into a Merman. Canon-adjacent, but their world is (historically, geographically & technologically) very different.

Official LJ retirement post

So I've not been active on LJ in (updated) 10 years, but it came to my attention when I made this post that with the latest changes to Mothership policy, fandom was emigrating lock, stock and barrel. I'm not deleting my journal, but I am going to f-lock everything just to make sure I don't break any rules, then just leave it here for posterity. If you would like to get in touch, I am mostly on Discord (as Fledhyris) and tumblr (as fledgesfancies) these days, but I also sporadically check LJ comments.

I have been writing a lot for the past year or so and will soon reach my 50th fanfic in the Supernatural fandom. It's all on ao3, including the few fics that I posted on here in the past. I would be super grateful if you came to read and I always reply to comments!
