Back in Jan of '25 I got a Vangoa Uke, which I love to this day. Problem was, as you'll hear in the video, that the stuck bridge pins made it impossible to change strings. Watch the video to see how this was solved yesterday. Who knows? Maybe what you'll learn from it will enable you to help someone.

Lord knows it's been a rough year here in the US. And while I've read a lot of posts encouraging me to make videos and shine my light, that has been near impossible to do in the light of what's been happening and the constant onslaught of shocking headlines. To me, it seemed for a good while like asking someone to do a stand-up routine at a funeral.
I don't know how many of you out there have felt the same. And yet lately in the past few weeks I've been feeling better emotionally about making videos and bringing some lighter moments to myself and others. Actually, we all need some lightheartedness right now. Some upliftment. So I'm learning some things on uke as well as tenor guitar and plan to be sharing that on my you tube channel and other social media content. And I'm encouraging you to do the same. What helped me with this was looking at some of the entertainment vids made during WWII. Despite the goings on globally during that time, this country and others made some amazing movies, comedy, and music despite the craziness and unpredictable (at that time) end to that war. So, in light of that I'm asking on this Valentines Day to do what you love to do: play your music for others to hear. Make videos and post them. Help raise the vibration thru sound. |
