Can we maybe vote on the whole murdering people issue?
The Hunger Games Trilogy.
I just read them all in about two day (or nights, whatever) and I won't be able to relax until my opinions have a place to go.
It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. STEPHANIE MEYER'S NAME IS ON EVERY COVER THIS LOWERED MY EXPECTATIONS GREATLY.
I wasn't really that into the first two books to be honest. Not that they were bad but the whole thing was just way too predictable for it to actually be suspenseful and I spent most of them in a rage.

That whole predictability thing is also why Katniss was annoying to me.
Especially in the second book, I felt like I spent the entire thing waiting for her to figure out what was going on.
And then, the third was essentially just waiting for her to step up and do her thing I STILL DON'T KNOW WHY THAT TOOK SO DAMN LONG.
Also, she seems to be completely unable to consider things from other people's perspective.
I was really hoping she would be a little smarter BUT I DON'T HATE THE GIRL. She had a few moments where I was like FUCK YEAH and cheering her on,
when she finally did what I had been waiting for her to do all along and joined the war I had nothing but love.
THAT SAID, WHY IS SHE SO MEAN TO THAT DAMN CAT? THAT IS NOT THE WAY TO WIN ME OVER.
BUT WHAT IS IT WITH THESE BOOKS, WHY IS EVERYONE CONSTANTLY TRYING TO GET THEMSELVES KILLED? WHAT THE FUCK IS UP WITH THAT?

Oh my god can I not stand him. The boy has no personality. I would have just killed that fucker in the first book.

He keeps saying shit like You are my whole life which just makes me go SHUT THE FUCK UP,EDWARD CULLEN AND GO GET A FUCKING LIFE.
He's sort of okay in parts of the last book but still, no.

WHY IS THIS YOUR OTP, TRILOGY?
Sure he loves her, in a weird way that gives me the creeps, but Katniss spends the whole time time thinking she might-maybe-sort-of like him, someday, when she gets her head straight.
Which is totally fine! I don't want her life to be about some oboxious guy but it doesn't exactly make it satisying when they end up together.
Speaking of the ending, that seemed very sudden and left a lot of loose ends. Actually everything that happened after Prim died seemed weird and unreal.
I REALIZE IT SOUNDS LIKE I JUST HATED EVERYTHING BUT I DIDN'T!
I thought the last book was all kinds of awesome.
I had been waiting-waiting-waiting for them to start a revolution since day one so when they finally did I was like THANK YOU!
and I liked all of the army stuff and IF WE BURN YOU WILL BURN WITH US? that was cool. Except I kept thinking of Joan of arc which was weird.
I really liked Haymitch and Cinna and Finnick and I agreed with Gale on most things but my favorite-favorite-favorite was Johanna.

Katniss/Johanna (ANYTIME THEY GOT ANYWHERE NEAR EACHOTHER I GOT SO HAPPY. AND THEN. AND THEN THEY MOVED IN TOGETHER.)
