Question about scroll bars

In flash 5, i found a sample of Advanced Buttons, in the help menu. In it, contained a scroll bar. I have never used, or created a scroll bar before, so this is new to me. I have successfully duplicated the scroll bar in my own design and created a Movie Clip that needs to be scrolled. Question is, how do i associate the scroll bar with the Movie Clip next to it?

I know how to name the instances, but what changes needed to be made to the actionscript inside the scroll bar to include the name?
