It will alert you in case of a large market fall (set your own limit to -20%,-15%, -10%, -7%, -5%, -3% or -2%) with a status bar notification +
·option 1 : phone plays your default ringtone
·option 2 : phone vibrates
·option 3 : camera LED/flash light goes on (during 30 seconds)
·option 4 : phone rings (during 30 seconds)
·option 5 : phone speaks an alert out loud (“Flash Crash Alert : The Dow Jones index is down more than 10% ...”) – if you have ‘Text-to-Speech’ installed on your phone/tablet
You can combine the options above to make sure you won’t miss the alert.
Select your favorite index (Dow Jones, S&P 500, Nasdaq 100).
Select your favorite time-interval for checks (every 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 60 minutes).
The app will only check during market-hours time (9:30 to 4.00 pm) and only on weekdays (Monday to Friday). You can set different time-intervals if you want.
A daily/weekly notification system is also offered as an option. It will send the 3 index levels and percentage moves as a notification. It allows you to monitor that the alert system is always alive (after rebooting your phone for example).
You can set the time of the day you want to receive this notification and have the phone vibrate/play a sound or not.
