Mobintelligent has successfully concluded with a complete deployment of intelligent 4G/5G-connected radars across Riba-roja de Túria, Vilamarxant, and Loriguilla. These devices have generated a comprehensive dataset that offers municipalities a clear and objective understanding of how mobility behaves across industrial, peri-urban, and urban environments.

Throughout the project, the radars collected detailed information on vehicle volume, classification (light, medium, heavy), average and maximum speeds, traffic direction, and recurring mobility patterns. This data has been used to identify peak traffic hours, detect differences between weekdays, weekends, and public holidays, and analyze congestion in strategic access points, especially in industrial areas with high vehicle flow.

The system has also proven highly reliable thanks to extensive field validation, firmware improvements, multi-operator connectivity, and end-to-end integration with Fivecomm’s Mobility Intelligence Platform. The platform provides municipalities with interactive maps, dashboards, and historical datasets, enabling them to make informed, data-driven decisions regarding mobility planning, infrastructure improvements, and road safety measures.

With Mobintelligent now completed, the region has a fully operational mobility monitoring infrastructure that enhances traffic management capabilities and lays the foundation for future smart mobility initiatives. The results demonstrate the potential of combining 5G, IoT, radar sensing, and real-time analytics to build more efficient, predictable, and sustainable mobility ecosystems.
