Integrating Firmbee with Slack<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>Slack is a tool that is used for remote communication within a team. Firmbee&#8217;s integration with Slack allows for sending notifications to Slack channels. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<p>In Slack you can be notified about:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\r\n<li>check-ins &#8211; automatically sent questions to the selected team members,<\/li>\r\n<li>tasks for today.<\/li>\r\n\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<h2>2. Privileges<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>The integration is only available for admins, which means that only users with admin privileges are entitled to switch on, configure and switch off the integration. After switching on the integration on the Firmbee account, users can individually connect their Slack accounts with Firmbee. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<h2>3. Switching on the integration with Slack <\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>Connecting Firmbee with Slack is possible through the <em>Configuration<\/em> module. In order to switch on the integration with Slack, you should click <em>Connect<\/em> in the box with Slack integration. Setting up a Slack account<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>If you don\u2019t have a Slack account yet, choose either <em>Find your workspace<\/em> or <em>Create a new workspace<\/em>, and then select one of the available login methods: through Google, Apple or email address. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<div class=\"d-flex flex-wrap align-items-start justify-content-center\">\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/4-11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"624\" height=\"502\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25576 img-fluid\" style=\"max-width: 300px !important\" title=\"\">\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/5-11.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"519\" height=\"557\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25577 img-fluid\" style=\"max-width: 300px !important\" title=\"\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n<p>The next step is to enter an access code sent to the previously indicated email address.<\/p>\r\n<div class=\"d-flex flex-wrap align-items-start justify-content-center\">\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/6-7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"698\" height=\"559\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25581 img-fluid\" style=\"max-width: 300px !important\" title=\"\">\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>After logging into Slack, Firmbee will request permission to access the Slack workspace. Sending notifications<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h3>Turning on task notifications<\/h3>\r\n\r\n<p>In order to switch on notifications about tasks for today, go to the <em>Configuration<\/em> module and then choose the <em>Notifications<\/em> tab in <em>Preferences<\/em>. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/8-7-800x546.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"546\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25586 img-fluid\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/8-7-800x546.png 800w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/8-7-900x614.png 900w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/8-7.png 1263w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<p>On the form that appears you can:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>set time when notifications should be sent;<\/li>\r\n<li>choose where notifications should be sent (Email and Slack \/ Only Slack \/ Only email);<\/li>\r\n<li>choose a type of notification.<\/li>\r\n\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p>Click <em>Save<\/em> in order to save the introduced changes. An active consent to email notifications is required for task notifications. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/9-6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"647\" height=\"427\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25588 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<h3>Turning on check-ins notifications<\/h3>\r\n\r\n<p>In order to send check-ins to Slack, you should tick <em>Send to slack<\/em> on the check-ins form. Check-ins notifications are sent at the time specified in the given question details.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/10-7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"507\" height=\"857\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25590 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<p>At any time, you can resend a question to Slack. In order to do this, click the Slack icon and choose <em>Remind anyone who has not yet answered<\/em>. After doing this action, a message informing that slack has been sent will be displayed. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/11-7.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"515\" height=\"229\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25592 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/12-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"313\" height=\"54\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25596 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<h3>Viewing slack notifications<\/h3>\r\n\r\n<p>Slack notifications will appear in the channel chosen during integration. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/13-5.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"137\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25594 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/14-6.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"495\" height=\"131\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25598 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<p>You can click on questions and task notifications. This action will take you to Firmbee\u2019s login screen. After logging in, details of a given task or check-ins will be displayed. <\/p>\r\n<p>In the task details you can:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\r\n<li>change status, <\/li>\r\n<li>change date,<\/li>\r\n<li>add subtasks,<\/li>\r\n<li>assign users,<\/li>\r\n<li>add attachments and comments,<\/li>\r\n<li>choose a project which a given task is assigned to,<\/li>\r\n<li>define a milestone, <\/li>\r\n<li>change repetition settings.<\/li>\r\n\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n<p>You can also share your tasks by clicking <em>share<\/em>.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/15-4-800x539.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"539\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25600 img-fluid\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/15-4-800x539.png 800w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/15-4-900x607.png 900w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/15-4.png 1150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>\r\n<p>In check-ins you can answer the question and view or comment on other users\u2019 questions. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/16-3-800x350.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"350\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25602 img-fluid\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/16-3-800x350.png 800w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/16-3-900x393.png 900w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/16-3.png 929w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<h2>6. Slack username<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>If the account is integrated with Slack, then in user and coworker forms the <em>Slack username<\/em> field will appear. If it is filled in one place, its content will be copied to the other.\r\n<em>Slack username<\/em> activating the integration can be automatically downloaded from the connected account. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<h3>User form<\/h3>\r\n\r\n<p>In order to view the user form, you should go to the <em>Configuration<\/em> module, choose the <em>Users<\/em> tab, click on the ellipsis icon next to the selected user, and click <em>Edit<\/em> (2).<\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/17-4-800x404.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"404\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25606 img-fluid\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/17-4-800x404.png 800w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/17-4-900x455.png 900w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/17-4.png 1053w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<p>After you perform this action, the <em>Edit User<\/em> form will be displayed. You should now see the <em>Slack username<\/em> field there.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/18-3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"509\" height=\"658\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25608 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<h3>Coworker form<\/h3>\r\n\r\n<p>In order to view the coworker\u2019s form, go to the <em>Coworking (1)<\/em>  module and to the <em>Coworkers<\/em> tab. The <em>Slack username<\/em> field will appear on the form.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20-1-800x529.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"529\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25612 img-fluid\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20-1-800x529.png 800w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20-1-900x595.png 900w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/20-1.png 1271w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>\r\n\r\n<h2>7. &#8220;I want to talk about it&#8221; feature<\/h2>\r\n\r\n<p>The members of the team can talk about any project task on the Slack channel. To initiate the conversation the user should hover over the Slack icon on the task tile in Kanban board.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/slack-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"631\" height=\"268\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-32387 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<p>The list of users assigned to the given task will appear on the screen. The notification about the conversation can be sent to some or all of the users on the list.<\/p>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/slack2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"656\" height=\"352\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-32388 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<p>Selected users will receive a message on their individual Slack channel. The content of the notification will include the following elements:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>who wants to have a conversation about the project task<\/li>\r\n\t<li>to which project the task belongs<\/li>\r\n\t<li>linked task name <\/ul><\/li>\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/slack3.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"520\" height=\"87\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-32389 img-fluid\" title=\"\">\r\n\r\n<h2>8. Switching off the integration with Slack<\/h2>\r\n<p>In order to switch off slack notifications, you should go to the <em>Configuration<\/em> module again, choose the <em>Integrations<\/em> tab, and then click <em>Disconnect<\/em> in the Slack box. <\/p>\r\n\r\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/21-1-800x527.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"527\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25614 img-fluid\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/21-1-800x527.png 800w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/21-1-900x593.png 900w, https:\/\/firmbee.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/21-1.png 1282w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/>\r\n<p>You will now be asked to confirm this action in a separate window.
