On December 6, 2025, the Eastern Connecticut Fire School put on a first-due tactics class. Thirty firefighters from across the state performed live fire training evolutions in fire suppression, forcible entry, victim search/removal, overhaul, and incident commander. Instructors provided realistic scenarios to challenge students and sharpen their skills. Keep an eye out for the next First Due Tactics Class coming in 2026, it will be posted on the Eastern Connecticut Fire School website.
