The Delmar Fire Department was alerted to a structure fire on Foskey Lane south of town on April 29, 2025. Fire crews arrived to find a 60- by- 80-foot-storage building with heavy fire and exposure to a 750-gallon fuel tank. Due to the size of the structure and the amount of fire load, a tanker task force was alerted. Crews from Delmar. Salisbury, Hebron, Laurel, Blades and Sharptown were all on scene. Several other fire departments backfilled some of the depleted stations. Crews cleared the scene 2-½ hours later.
