“3D ultrasound of the Uterine Cavity with Uterine Tracing offers a precise and reproducible assessment of uterine morphology and cavity contour.

This advanced imaging technique enhances detection of subtle intrauterine abnormalities such as septa, adhesions, and contour irregularities that may be missed on conventional 2D scans. Uterine tracing further allows for standardized evaluation and improved diagnostic confidence.

A valuable tool in fertility workups, recurrent pregnancy loss evaluation, and preoperative planning.”

“My copy of ‘The Quest for Fertility’ by Oluyemisi Famuyiwa MD, FACOG arrived today and I can’t say enough good things about it.

Dr. Famuyiwa had me from the butterfly garden on page 18 until the end (I did get to read an advance digital copy.) A full review will follow, but as a placeholder I’ll say that this book somehow manages to be both 100% knowledge and 100% heart at the same time.

From rapamycin to the empty sella syndrome to a marvelous chapter 3 titled Fertility in Society’s Mirror: the Cultural Landscape, this book is a deep and invaluable read.”

“They told you it was ‘normal.’
But deep down, you knew something wasn’t right.

Too many people with PCOS are dismissed, misdiagnosed, or told to ‘wait it out’ while their symptoms get louder. Painful periods. Sudden weight changes. Feeling like your body is working against you… none of that should be brushed off.

Your body is speaking. You deserve to be heard.

Learning the signs is the first step. Advocating for yourself is the next. And together, we’re changing the narrative—so no one has to question their reality again.

Save this as a reminder: what you’re feeling matters.”

Marco Zaccaria, Global Product Manager at ESGE European Society Gynecology Endoscopy, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“How important is it to identify and evaluate the endometrium-myometrium interface (JZ) via ultrasound in a women with adenomyosis?

On an ultrasound, the thickness of the junctionalzone (the inner layer of the myometrium, in direct contact with the endometrium) is considered normal when it measures between 5 and 8 mm

In diagnostic imaging for adenomyosis, a junctional zone (JZ) thickness of more than 12 mm is the most widely accepted indicator for a likely diagnosis

Look also for specific qualitative and quantitative markers:

JZ Ratio: A ratio of the maximum JZ thickness to the total myometrial thickness of >40% is often used as a diagnostic parameter

JZ Difference: A difference between the maximum and minimum thickness of the JZ (JZmax − JZmin) exceeding 5 mm

Morphological Changes: an irregular, ill-defined, or ‘hazy’ appearance of the junctional zone on ultrasound, often accompanied by small myometrial cysts or asymmetric thickening of the uterine walls

As clinical impact, increased JZ thickness is significantly linked to reproductive issues, including a higher risk of embryo implantation failure during IVF treatments

“We have an exciting line up of speakers for Spermatology 2026 that you won’t want to miss!

We’re kicking off Day 1 with the theme ‘Spermatogenesis and Genetics’
with exciting talks from:

Leonie Herrmann When Genetics Fail Sperm, Identifying Genes Critical for Sperm Function

Tzviya Zeev-Ben-Mordehai Cryo-electron microscopy as a discovery tool in sperm biology

Anne Goriely Selfish Sperm

The International Symposium on Spermatology (ISS, founded in 1969) brings together scientists from across research fields including human, mammal, agricultural, plant and sea life with a common interest in sperm function, to share their latest research which is shaping the field of reproduction.

Register now.”

Jackson Kirkman-Brown, Member of Ethics Committee at European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), shared Centre for Human and Reproductive Science’s post, adding:

“Now is the time to get registered for Spermatology.
This is the premier international meeting cross-species for people who are doing discovery science in sperm.
It’s different from other meetings as it is almost a ‘sperm retreat’ designed to allow everyone to interact and evolve their ideas – making a real difference to the field.”

Amer Raza, Founder and CEO Ovara Health UK at Ovara Health UK, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“BSGE ASM26

didn’t just meet this year.

It made history. It just shifted ……

From the very first moment, something was different. Alison Wright sharing the vision for womens health

The energy. The ambition. The sense that this specialty was ready to step into a bigger arena.

Fevzi Shakir — you built something remarkable
A programme that was fearless, rigorous, and alive with purpose.
Every session deliberate. Every moment earned.
This is what happens when the right person leads with vision.

And then came a moment that signals everything.
Rebecca Mallick elected as President of BSGE .
The right leader. The right time.

A society in very safe — and very capable — hands. Congratulations Rebecca Mallick . Lead boldly.

For me, this conference carried something deeply personal.

To be elected as BSGE Senior Council Representative by my colleagues across the UK

A mandate built on the confidence of colleagues across the United Kingdom.

A collective faith in what I can contribute. I do not take that lightly.I will work relentlessly to meet—and exceed—the expectations placed upon me.

The science matched the moment……

Live surgery that made you think differently.
Cadaveric dissection that took pelvic anatomy to another level entirely.
Lectures that didn’t just present evidence — they challenged the way we practice.

I was privileged to be part of it

Presenting our single port robotic surgery data from Cromwell Hospital. Thanks Cromwell Hospital for your support Philip Luce

Chairing the cadaveric dissection session.
Presenting the innovations in robotics assisted surgery

Not watching the future arrive — but helping to shape it.

here is the truth- BSGE has shifted axis.

From a respected national society……
To a serious international force.

This meeting was the proof.
The conversations were global. The standards were world-class. The ambition was limitless.

We must now move together.

Because women with endometriosis, fibroids, and gynaecological disease deserve a specialty that leads — not follows.

This is not a peak.
This is a launch pad.”
