Hello everyone! v0.3.0 is LIVE!!! Please go download it and give it a try. LOTS of great changes in this that we worked really hard to get out over this week.

With our program at the moment no; I do plan to allow modding in the future but that requires tool work I don't have the bandwidth to create at the moment. As for if you yourself could? Yeah, I used Godot and started with this GitHub that covered how to do windows which kickstarted this whole project.
I will be improving upon the Terminal every update to make it more user friendly, but past that adding more menu's requires UX/UI work, stuff that slows me and Cindesh down heavily due to the requirement between both of us for anything better than my current shitty pink menus lol. I do want to add more menu's in as time goes on, but for now the focus is for sure improving what we have!
Also there is a (small) guide and controls on the pause menu if you hit ESC while having her focused and hovering over her!
EDIT: I made a pretty big QoL change to the brain dances to help out a bit above this comment chain! Hope that will help out next update.
You can close out of her via the task bar or if you pause the game (Via ESC key after bringing her into focus - Left click her twice) you can hit the X button in the top right to close her out! Though the exit command should also do the same function... Weird, that should close gracefully. Ill look into it.
Spawning in items isn't the natural flow. Spawn rates are custom set per item.
I'll look into balancing that data out a bit more so there is a bit more flare to what is dropped without pop-ups, but a small feeling I have is when we add more content that problem will slowly fix itself as well. Still good to look at!
Probably not but you never know. However I know the game for you! Check out One Potion Please on Steam or Itch by CoderGuy. If you want a Comic, check out A Thief's Growing Misfortune by Burhuru. Both great buddies of mine that do Growth and TF content
If you are meaning making your own desktop pet, yeah! I made Byte with Godot and eventually plan to do a technical write up in the (FAR) future on how I did it, but my basis was off of this tutorial here for multi-windows. It takes a bit of work, but I highly recommend the process.
If you are wanting to draw or write fan stuff about Byte I believe Cindesh will have no issue with that lol. She can correct me if I'm wrong
In the future, I do want to allow modding but I have a few technical things I need to jump to allow that.
