Update 2019

Hi everyone! As you can see, my plan to get the comm rolling on DW in 2019 is a little delayed, and not without reason. I have not forgotten, and if I have not replied to your messages, it is because...I don't really know what to do.

First of all, after talking to some fandom friends who made the jump from LJ to DW, they saw fan contributions actually decrease rather than increase. DW is an amazing platform, but when it comes to transferring blogs, I'm less eager about it than I was six months ago.

Also, I've been hearing from more and more people that they want an LJ renaissance rather than a total abandonment. After encountering technical difficulties on every platform I've been using for fanworks, and especially after going through the archives of this amazing comm, I'm having my doubts about the transfer.

So, I need your feedback. I obviously haven't been a great leader, but I am always here and will always listen. And if anyone wants to help out in any way with the comm, I would love that.

Maleficent was down beside Emma. She was teaching Emma the art of fisting. “So as you make this shape with your hand, ease your thumb in too.” She held up her hand, showing her hand in a duck-bill shape.

Emma nodded. She looked to Regina.

“Yes Emma,” Regina's voice had a pleading note to it. Something Emma had rarely heard. She hadn’t realised how much Regina was into this. Emma hadn’t realised how much she’d be into this. She watched closely as she slowly pushed her hand further.

Emma felt the stretch of her. With Maleficent’s guidance she worked her hand inside, all the way inside.

“Holy shit, my hand is inside you.”

“Yes...” was all Regina could get out.

Maleficent stroked the back of Emma's head and leaned in to kiss her sweetly.

“Rock your hand, very gently,” Maleficent said.

Emma moved her hand, just little.

“Don’t stop that unless I tell you or I pass out,” Regina said.

Emma kept the side to side movement of her hand steady and couldn’t help but wonder what other lessons Maleficent would be able to teach her.

Just a few feet away Sara was working a punch bag, running through a series of punching and kicking combinations.

Nyssa was doing sit ups and every time she sat up she saw Sara.

Sara’s sports-bra meant that the lean muscles of her arms and the perfection of her abs were enticingly exposed. She was sweating and breathing hard and she was giving Nyssa a powerful thirst. A need Nyssa knew her father would never approve of. Her job was to sculpt Sara into Ta-er al-Sahfer and make her into a worthy tool for the League of Assassins. That job didn’t involve lusting after her pupil.

“Am I doing something wrong?” Sara stopped her assaults on the punch bag and put her hands on her hips.

It took every ounce of self control Nyssa had to not blush at being caught staring. “Continue. If I want you to stop I'll tell you.”

Sara nodded, and for a moment there was an infuriating smirk on her lips, like she knew exactly why Nyssa had been looking at her. She resumed working the bag. That smirk made Nyssa want to rush over, pin her to the mat and teach her a lesson. But she knew if she did a flood of other desires would be unleashed. Nyssa resumed her sit-ups and set about going through a mental exercise to focus herself on business not fleeting fantasy.

It wasn’t easy. Sara was very distracting.

And then Buffy Summers’ mother walked in and the conversation changed. “Nice setup,” she said. “I’ve seen this model before. It’s something that graphic artists can use, right?”

“Yes. They come equipped with some of the better drawing programs. I generally have a couple of classes each year where the students can use their artistic ability. Are you an artist?”

“A sculptor. And I own a gallery. But computer art has always fascinated me.”

As Mrs. Summers continued to talk, Jenny snuck a glance at the other woman’s long fingers and was sidetracked by the thought of them moving against her skin.

The door opened and Michael Washington’s father walked in. “Computers, right?”

Jenny nodded. Her eyes strayed to the clock and she was disappointed to see that her meeting with Mrs. Summers was over.

“Be with you in a minute,” she said to Mr. Washington. She turned to Joyce. “Our time’s up, I’m afraid.”

Joyce retrieved a business card from her purse. “Come out to the gallery. I’d love to talk with you some more, see what ideas you have…”

Jenny was having all kinds of ideas. Not a one of them suitable for a parent-teacher conference.

The trouble was that Dawn was living in a house with her sister, her sister’s best friend, and whatever Faith was. The women usually met Willow on the first date- she was the easiest test to pass. If they got through that, they were introduced to Buffy on the second date. She would play the big sister card to a tee and weed out some of the other girls.

Faith, however, was another story. Dawn was lucky if her date stayed past dessert on their third meeting. She didn’t know how Faith would find them, just that the girl would casually mention running into her dark-haired roommate.

“What the hell did you say to Teresa?” Dawn yelled, storming into Faith’s room after her date for the evening begged off with a phone call.

“She wasn’t right for you.”

“Don’t you think I should be the judge of that? She was perfectly nice and I liked her.”

“Did you ever ask them what I said?”

“I’m asking you.”

The pair stopped at a booth where people were failing miserably to pop balloons with plastic darts. “Spot me five bucks,” said Faith.

“You know this is a scam, right?”

“You know I played darts in Boston long before I came to Sunnydale, right?”

Dawn handed her the five dollar bill which Faith handed to the barker.

The first toss bounced harmlessly off a balloon. Dawn turned away.

Pop!

“We’ll go double or nothing on the next one,” Faith told the barker.

Dawn turned back to the booth where Faith was taking aim once again. She threw a dart and didn’t miss.

“First one was defective,” Faith said. “Got another dollar? You can take it out of my cotton candy budget.”

Dawn sighed and handed it over.

Faith received another dart from the barker. “And that’s five,” she said as the dart pierced the balloon. “She’ll take that one.” Faith pointed to a giant overstuffed bear on the shelf.

“Seriously?” asked Dawn. “This is how you think of me?”

“I am not up for this fight tonight. You’re the one who didn’t want her sister to know about us. This provides a decent cover. I know very well what toys you like and I’m looking forward to breaking them out later on. Now take Mister Buttons and come with me.”
