I very much like the above article. Any thoughts about it?

Hello, how are you these holidays? Not much has happened here, I think. I spent the new year in London, watching BBC comedy with my family whilst fireworks and screams of joy were just audible from Trafalgar Square or wherever revellers were celebrating the night, and kind of wishing I was with them in the cold and company.

I decided that philosophy is not a load of arse, and so my plans to chuck it in and become a composer/musician/session guitarist are on further hold. But I am still tempted.

I bought a lot of music in London with money I got from selling an old guitar. I'm especially amazed by Kapustin. Fully-notated jazz piano music.

I really really really really recommend listening to all of these. They're amazing.

P.S. http://ow.ly/PSMK. It's nice to know I'm not alone in my fear of China. I wonder if this is someone's just desert? But doubtless too many others will unjustly suffer.
