Shostakovich - String Quartet No. 3

Or rather, the opening movement therefrom. The whole quartet is really fantastic, and I definitely recommend it. (I have a recording by the Fitzwilliam String Quartet, which is very dark and rather slower than the other ones I know (i.e., this YouTube video and another one of the third movement by the Emerson Quartet), for what that's worth: I love it.)
