To Foreign Shores and Curious Faces
I have, after much tedious searching, found a year-off job in Galway, where I shall join my wonderful girlfriend, who has just started studying in its college, and I'm off tomorrow to start on Tuesday.
The hours are long, the pay is bad, and I'm going to be frozen for seven hours a day when winter comes, and I'll BE A MAN by the time I start my postgrad. Rawr.
Also, it's going to involve me relocating. Although I'll be home the odd weekend, and can always visit internet cafés, the days of spending an hour on LiveJournal are, for the immediate future at least, gone. I might post here every so often, and keep half an eye on my Friends list, but that'll be the end of it, at least until I get internet where I live, which may be never.
Much as I'll miss the communities, and much as I am indebted to Lane's explaining Kant on
convert_me, I'm probably better off reading Kant himself, so I'm not going to hurry to get ready internet access.
Toodles!
