I really had to commentate in this one because the finale for TVD was ASTRONOMICAL. One of the things I have noticed about TVD is that every single episode ends with a cliff-hanger and the writers are so well at writing each ending for each episode. So many shows have tried to do this and most of the time it does not work.

When Pearl "displayed" her capabilities, it was sort of horrifying. Horrifying in the fact that throughout the series, Damon's actions continually build up the idea that he is the one in control and that no one tells him what to do, so when there was that complete reversal it was =O

I really felt sorry for Caroline in this episode. None of the characters were really sympathizing with her or making the attempt to understand why she was reacting to the whole ex's talk. I mean if my best friend and my current boyfriend were reminiscing about good ol' times, I would be pissed as well.

This whole Damon/Elena/Alaric team up is seriously awesome and I hope to see more of it in the future =D
I loved it when Elena was panicy and stressing out, Damon really calmed her down <3
Her heart may be with Stefan now but you can so see growing feelings between the two.

Also am I the only one who finds Damon sexy when his mocking people? Ahahaha

Elena: Damon, now is the time not to be the lone ranger
Damon: Fine, you can drive the getaway car, hmmm? You're not getting in the house
Elena: You can't stop me, it's Stefan we're talking about here, you don't understand.
Damon: (mocks) Oh, I understand, I understand... his the reason you live, his love lifts you up where you belong...I get it.

ROFL!

Seriously loved the song playing in the background when the vamps were having their little party. It is:
The Black Angels - Young Men Dead

Loved it when Damon handed the rose to Elena, symbolism much to the opening credits? Also another awesome song choice with
Paramore - Brick by Boring Brick in the scene of John Gilbert's "death"

I was pretty undecided about this new side of Stefan. I liked that we got to see the other side of him and that he was not so unnaturally perfect. But at the same time I don't think this darker side of him suited him well.
Again there was a reversal of roles in the show, this time with Damon and Stefan. Although Damon managed to pull off the good side to him, Stefan's darker side didn't work.

Jeremy really needed a hair cut since the mid-season onwards, at least he lost the black nail polish...

That dance was oozing with so much sexual tension, just check out that intense eye glazing and the near touching routine of the dance was literally the cherry on this cake. Meanwhile in the carpark, we have Stefan with the missing pageant candidate.

I know many people commented on Paul's acting in this scene to be lacking, I really didn't notice it until I watched this scene a second time. However I did like this scene as it was when all his thoughts and feelings poured out, it was as if he was writing in his journal.

Blood Brothers, personally for me wasn't a strong episode. The redeeming quality of the episode had to be the ending with Isobel and Alaric.

Absolutely great scene! I was like "oh no Damon don't!" when he and Isobel were kissing and when he slammed her down and gave him a piece of his mind I was literally cheering! Damon at that point was exceeding awesomeness

This scene was beautiful, it was nice to know that somewhere in Isobel there was still humanity and I found it so saddening that Alaric would never be able to know what she told him that night. Isobel is one of my favorite characters because of this scene.

Damon: Elena is not Katherine
Stefan: Your right, she's not
(Elena appears looking like Katherine)

Now that I watch the finale again, I started doubting myself at different parts of the episode wondering if "Elena" was really not Katherine at the time.

FYI: Stefan looked so sexy in that retro outfit

Ah, werewolves are affected too. I know when shows or films have vampires, there must be werewolves. I'm not really on the pro-werewolf team for Vampire Diaries, I think there is too much going on at the moment...

This part shocked me to the core, I honestly thought Anna was going to stay on board for Season 2 because

1. She was a fan favorite
2. She made Jeremy less depressed
3. She was a awesome, good, great, fantastic vampire

Oh why, oh why, didn't they kill Bonnie instead?

I was jumping with excitement over Dalena! Seriously this was the moment we have all been waiting for!
THEN Jenna RUINED it THEN Katherine TRIPLE RUINED IT
also i know a lot of fans are debating this, but i really think damon didn't know that he was kissing Katherine. I think he knew something was off though, perhaps thinking "damn she looks like katherine and she kisses like katherine" and that is it. idk...

BEST SEASON FINALE EVER, KATHERINE IS BACK!
