I just spent the weekend hanging out with two of my closest friends (who also now happen to like each other, which really is giving me a kick more than it should) and we had a BOMB. I mean, I'm still kinda bummed that I didn't get to go to North Carolina with Jo, but this was a DAMN good alternative. My brother's friend Gavin was also home for the weekend, who surprised me by kissing me on Saturday night... O.o Then me, gavin, mike and amelia all went to see XXX, which was a stupid but surprisingly enjoyable movie. Whee! That was after I hung out with Leia, Deborah, and Emily Friday night, when we all watched The Pillow Book. *huge cheezy grin*
(Ewen McGregor's WANG!! dear gods ladies, I am SOOO happy!) that and it was a good movie too.
Sunday I hung out with *drumroll* emily and leia!! it was awesome!! actualy earlier in the day leia and I went to borders, where we met John and a friend of his (Nick), and I bought the XXX soundtrack and the Gorillaz Gsides CDs (GHOOOST TRAAIN) and then later that night us three girlz hung out some more, with a guest appearance by Gavin at Steak n' Shake. Then we went over to Emily's house and watched the Reduced Shakespeare company. Oh. My. god. That was SO funny...

and yesterday, leia and emily and I hung out some MORE, and I got my housing assignments!!! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! I got the dorm I wanted and everything, and I've talked to two out of three of my roomates!! oh, joy... ^^
