Listens: Tell Me Ma---Gaelic Storm

BLAST YOU SIX WAYS FROM NEXT WEDNESDAY!!

Whooooooooooooo-wheeeeeee!!! Time for a big-ass long entry, folks! BECAUSE I CAN!!

Right-o. Last Wednesday was my last night of work at Bob Evans (HUZZAH!!) I still haven't managed to get through to the manager at the Bob Evans up in Columbus, but I'm not really too worried about that, as even if I don't manage to get a job with them, there are SHITLOADS of other Bob Evans up there. So, hoo-hah!

Been running with darling Traci a lot recently, well, a lot for me, at any rate. *puffs out chest* I CAN RUN A WHOLE MILE! YES I'm out of shape, but HAAAAAAAAAAA!!! *Snickers* Let's hope I can keep on running and eventuall work up to Traci's level, or my dad's level. My dad, btw, who is like 52, has been running pretty much ever since he was like 24 and runs like 5 to 6 miles 5 days a week. O_O Go dad go!!

Um, um, um. Miss Jessica came to visit me for two days, and we had a SPLENDIFEROUS time at the Ohio State Ren faire, where we had many admirers (the professional insulter seemed to think I was the hottest thing since sliced bread) and had loads of fun, as well as spending waaaaaaaaay too much money. I have elfy ears now and a gorgeous skirt that you'll no doubt hear me gush about and show off to great length. Heh heh. WHEE.

In other news, my computer has a variant of Blaster, that virus for Microsuck or Windows or whatever. Whatever the case, it's a so-far unrecorded variant. Translation: I CAN'T GO ONLINE ON MY COMPUTER UNTIL THEY MAKE A PATCH. *sobs helplessly* At the moment I'm on me mumy's computer, doing various things. Hopefully when I head back up to OSU in a few days, Ethernet will still work, but who knows. Anyway my brother (who is a computer science major, so here's hoping he knows what he's talking about) says that McCafee, our virus scan provider, should come out with a patch for the blasted thing within a week, at the longest. So everyone, cross your fingers for me!

Nerfherders. Moving on, I'm moving back up to OSU on Thursday, if all goes well, and I'll be in an apartment with Amelia, my brother's girlfriend. (For anyone who's interested, my good friend Nicole, whom I was considering rooming with and was having dorm issues of her own, just got all her problems worked out and is set to room in a house with about 7 other people near campus, most of them dance majors, all of them nice folks. So that's all well and good.) I'm vurra excited, and I'll have my widdle Beretta with me this year (but will soon have to be paying for my own very expensive car insurane *wince*). SO.

I'm so excited for my schedule this year!!! I'm taking Archaeology/Anthropology, an honors Shakespeare class (with Nicole), Religios Studies, and ZULU. Yep, you guys heard me. Zulu. (Swahili was full, and I'm on the waiting list for that should it miraculously open up, but I'm not holding my breath or anything.) I'm excited for that, hee hee... Also, my earliest class is now not until 10:30 every morning (it was at 8 Monday, wednesday and friday before, when I was signed up for French). HUZZAH!!! *bounces insanely*

Last thing: the wonderful band Gaelic Storm is going to be at Canal Street Tavern this Wednesday night. 12 bucks to get in, show starts at 9:30, doors open at 8. Advance tickets are supposedly available maybe? I'm not sure. I tried calling Canal Street Tavern and nobody answered, but it IS a tavern, and it's rather early in the day, so I'll try back again tonight. I suggest we show up bright and early, say around 7ish, to get a good spot and be sure we can get in. I'll let you all know when I find out more---cross your fingers that it isn't sold out!

Here's mah last thing:
