*GASP* *SHOCK* *AMAZEMENT* She's updating her LJ! Sweet Mary on high! *insert bad irish accent here*
Hello there, lads and lasses.... ^_^ I suck so bad at updating this thing during the summer.
Pirate Update: Went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean. Twice. Dressed up the first time as pirates wif Leia, David, Amy, John, Emily, James, me two brothers and my brother's girlfriend Amelia. Brett, Deborah and Bobby also came along, but refused to dress up. Johnny Depp is utterly hilarious and makes THE BEST PIRATE CAPTAIN EVER. More on pirates: Murray and I actually have a pirate story going, which, I SWEAR, I shall post some of here. There's about 7 different scenes for me to choose from to type up... but I think I can at least introduce the lads here...(yes, I really am that obsessed. I'm even making a soundtrack. HAH!)
Dylan Murphy Mary's pirate captain. We affectionately refer to him as the Magnificent Bastard. About 6'3", reddish hair, one good eye (the other is covered with an eyepatch), bearded, and whip-thin. Murray, add details if you like. He's the scurvy dog captain of our as-yet unnamed pirate ship, but don't let him fool you too much---he's a big ole softie at heart, especially for hard-luck cases. Best line: "Wrap that pretty mouth of yours around my dick and tell me you love me."
Dominic Highcastle Youngest son of a wealthy merchant and a beautiful Spanish gentlewoman. (my character) Decides to seek his fortune at sea by waiting in a tavern at the docks and leaving port with the first ship's captain to come in. Heh. About 5'10"ish, with sandy blond hair and a darker complexion (from his mum) and grey-blue eyes. Very pretty, but he's built well enough from helping out around the house and some sword lessons. There's no polite word for his function on the ship: He's essentially Murphy's bitch *snort*, which was the only way the Captain would agree to take him on board. Theme song: "Cherry Lips" by Garbage.
Gray (Paolo Grigio) Ship's first mate. Mary's character. He's friggin' HUGE, like 6'10" or more, with blue-grey hair and beard that are dread-locked with beads in 'em, and bright green eyes. Loves Murphy and... oh, there's a whole slew o' angst in there. Theme song: "The Fisherman's Son" The Rankin Family.
Jinn Ship's cook. My character. Sturdily built African, bald as a stone, about 6'4" or so, with heavy tattoos along his arms and chest. Rescued by Murphy from some slavers when he wouldn't cooperate; formerly a cannibal. *snrk*
Will Fitzgerald Murray's character. Young man, of about 18 or so..on board the ship for personal reasons. *wiggles eyebrows* Theme song: "Willie Taylor" Deanta.
Daniel Mcleod aka Rabbit Murray's character and crewman of the ship. Darkly tanned skin, wiry lean muscles, and straw-colored hair. Found adrift in the ocean, lashed to some driftwood---remembers nothing before the pirate ship. Totally stark raving mad, but we love him. ^_^
Adelio Arroyo Ramirez "The Kestrel" Spaniard. Has supposedly lived a cursed life at sea for over 100 years, and is a great swordsman. Not much is known about him, but he is the perfect gentleman and very courtly.
Patrick Shaughnessy (Paddy) Irishman skilled at the fiddle, found on an island in the middle of the ocean. Fair skin, pale green eyes, and reddish-brown curly hair. His past is rather a mystery but he's ever-cheerful. My character.
Maria Ohhh, our sweet baby. Literally. She's only about 4 years old, and was shipwrecked on the same island as Paddy. Soft, curly, golden hair and big blue baby eyes. Doesn't talk at all due to some traumatic event, likely the shipwreck that stranded her on the island. My character.
Arrr, not nearly enough detail, but I have to go shower. Later mates.
