Dammit. I'm not sick, I just have this stupid cough which just DOESN'T STOP!!! *spazzes*
Okay, because I only got 4 hours of sleep last night and I haven't updated this thing in almost a week... ^^ time for the abbreviated version.
Last wednesday I basically pulled an all-nighter. Well, I went to bed at 7 am, and then got up at 8, for my theatre class.... ^^;;; yeah I was up doing my history midterm paper. BAH!! I ended up going home thursday afternoon, and I had like a 4 day weekend because of the absolute ASSLOAD of snow we had over the weekend! They even cancelled school yesterday! (and in case you were wondering, I went home thursday instead of friday for a combination of family matters and the shitty weather that was on its merry way.)
Things I did this weekend:
1.) Sat on my ass at the house and played Metroid Prime. Dood, I want to BE Samus Aran.
2.) Watched Fight Club for the first time Friday night with Emily. Damn, that's a good movie. And oh my sweet LORD Brad Pitt is SO HOT in that movie!!! AAAUGH!!
3.) We celebrated my older brother's 21st birthday. heh heh, now I have the hook-up... ;-)
4.) Watched My Big Fat Greek Wedding with Jo and Leia saturday night. That movie is soooooooo funny. ^^ Bwah ha ha, then we watched anime music videos on my computer that I had brought home for the weekend.
5.) Got *counts* 5 more books using gift certificates and gift cards at various bookstores. Ahh, so much more reading than I have time for. Life is good. >:D

Books I Am Making it a Point to Read as Soon as I Can
1.) The Moon is a Harsh Mistress Robert Heinlein. I've actually already ready this book, but it is soooooooo gooooood.... one of the sources for my obsession with the name Mycroft.
2.) Abhorsen Garth Nix. The third in a series that Leia and I adore. Fantastic fantasy novels about a family of necromancers.... bad-ASS....
3.) Up in a Heaval Piers Anthony. This is, uh, the 25th or something in Xanth series. I love that series, but it's not for you if you hate puns. I happen to be obsessed with all the aspects, intricacies, and functions of the English language, so I lurve this series...
4.) The Science of Vampires by: Some Woman with a Ph.D. Ha ha ha, who doesn't love vampires?! This smacks of the class on vampires that I took last quarter, so I couldn't resist.
5.) American Gods Neil Gaiman. guilty confession: I never finished this book the first time I started it. It is an EXCELLENT book. But I got it when my parents first separated.... so I'm finally going to pick it back up and finish it.
6.) The Sword of Shannara Terry Brooks. Ah. Good nummy fantasy! YAY!
7.) Fight Club Chuck Palahniuk. So I saw the movie, and Emily, one of my fellow connoisseurs of books, insists that the book is a must-read. ^o^
8.) Citizen of the Galaxy Robert Heinlein. I lurve Heinlein, and this is one of my dad's favorite books by him. SO.
