Yay.... today was rather less stressful than yesterday (on several levels!). Yay for no shitloads of homework to get done, yay for no stress of roomies moving out suddenly, yay for the remarkable just lack thereof. Every once in awhile it's nice to have a day go as planned.
Right, so the fact that I have almost nothing to say about today is a huge relief. ^^ It's amazing how much more room we have in the dorm room now... just, wow.
Josh and I spent the afternoon dicking around in his basement, regressing to the age of 14 or so.... "Check out my Ice 3!!" "Bad-ASS!!" Yeah, we pretty much played video games for like, 4 hours or so. Can ah git uh HELL YEAH for Final Fantasy 7 and Final Fantasy 9? Took me freaking FOREVER to get to some of the nicer FMVs, very annoying, but they were all worth it... I still need to get further in Final Fantasy 7 (I'm only in Gold Saucer for the first time, which is maybe halfway through the first disc----there are three discs) and I still need to show him the ending FMV for Final Fantasy 9.... (For those of you who have no idea what the f*ck I'm talking about, FMV stands for Full Motion Video.) Then we ordered pizza (like I said, early high school folks, it was GREAT) and watched some Rurouni Kenshin. That is such a great series... ^^
Looking forward to tomorrow! Justin and Sam and maybe even B-chan and Traci are coming up to visit me for a bit! *dances happily* We might watch Kung Pow, or we might call Josh and get coffee, or we may fly to the moon... y'know, it's whatever. I assure you that no matter what happens Ms. Kathryn will be sure to enjoy herself as tomorrow is the beginning of... you guessed it.... a THREE DAY WEEKEND!! *sticks tongue out at all the kids who aren't in public schools* Bwah ha ha! GO OSU!
Bwah ha ha, I went online yesterday and downloaded a boatload of new LJ icons for the simple reason that I could. They amuse me to no end. I'm trying out a new one everytime I make an LJ post.... ^^
And now, for now other reason than I can and it's been in my head all day, here is my favorite poem:
