Today (which happened to be GORGEOUS in terms of weather, by the way), we went to stonehenge and windsor (the castle as well as the town). Stonehenge was freaking AMAZING. I lurved it desperately. It's the weirdest feeling to be walking around a monument that you know has been around for thousands of years. That, and I have one of THE most overactive imaginations of anyone I know, so I could practically see all the people hauling those stones from lord knows where... ^-^ And the downs are gorgeous... very different from anything that I've seen in america. I now know EXACTLY where Tolkien got his descriptions of the Barrow Downs. Creepy. ^^
Windsor was soooooo pretty!!! And the castle? Freaking HUGE. We could seriously have a block party and invite almost all of our friends and extended family and not see half of them in a day, because of how HUGE that castle is. We didn't even see all of it. O_o The town itself was very quaint and very pretty.... I lurved it mightily. (Also have been taking shiteloads of pictures all week. BWAH!) I must say, though, kids, I adore French Connection United Kingdom. I was *thisclose* to buying one of the t-shirts that say things like "fcuk it" "cool as fcuk" "dysfcuktional" "vive la fcuk!" and that sort of thing. ^^

Tonight we went and saw Chicago the musical (me, Laura, Dan, Brian, and Doug) and it RULED. All That Jazz and He Had it Coming were my favorite numbers.... heh heh heh...
