Update Two from Limey Land
*peers around the corner* Dood.... I leave the country and everything happens at once, doesn't it? *feels seriously out of the loop* I LURVE YOU ALL! I wish you were all here with me. I'm really, really sorry all of your Decembers aren't as happy as mine are. ;_; Because even though I'm having a blast in London (See Jess?!?! Not everyone's life sucks) we would take OVER London if you all were here. *wants to give all of you huge hugs*
I have slightly more time today (bastards rape me up the ass for the internet because they KNOW I'LL PAY IT!!! AUUUUGGGHHH!!!) *glances over at the TV* *sees that there's some sort of interview with LOTR actors on TV about the Two Towers* *would like to watch but doesn't want to waste her minutes online* Rotters.
Today was our Theatre Day. We got up around 7:00, showered, ate, etc. and took the tube to Covent Gardens. *wets herself all over again at the thought* Okay, think of the biggest, most exotic mall you've ever been to. All the cool stores that you never see normally, all the selection, all the amazing window-shopping.... now, take all those stores, and put them along tiny brick streets, and have them be in brick buildings (HOLY FUCKING SHIT ELIJAH WOOD HAS A BUZZ CUT!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!) and be quainter than I thought was possible. I about SHIT myself. Bwee hee hee... 6 stories of Doc Martens... I own a pair now, by the way. They were on sale, and they were Kathryn's christmas present to herself. *lurves her new brown Doc Martens* Not going to take the time to describe all the neat stores and theatres that we saw today, as they are far too numerous; rather, I'm going to mention a few of my favorites.
FCUK. No, that's not a miss-typing of our favorite four letter word, that stands for French Connection United Kingdom. And that happens to be all over sweatshirts and bags inside the store, which has very nice, very expensive clothes, by the way. *snickers*
The open-air antique and clothing market in the Piazza area of Covent Gardens. They have the most unique, random stuff in there, and it's all oh-so-pretty...
The Mousetrap, Les Miserables, Chicago, Rent, Stomp, Macbeth (which we're seeing on Saturday), Romeo and Juliet (a musical I believe), Crazy Black Mutherfuckin' Self, not to mention shitloads more, are all shows that are playing in London this week that I have the opportunity to see. As a matter of fact, I am seeing Les Miz tomorrow... even cooler, it's in the theatre it originally started in!! WHOO! *does a little dance* *makes a little love* *gets down tonight*
The musical we saw tonight, Our House, was based entirely on the music of the 80's band the Madness (yes they did "Our House... in the middle of our street". Yeah, THAT song.) It was hilarious!! I lurved it... ^-^
And now, the very bestest part of the day.... guess who plays Macbeth in the show we are seeing on Friday.
Sean Bean.
*does backflips* BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! My favorite play of all time, and the main character is played by fuckin' SEAN BEAN!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I FUCKING RULE!!! *crows like Rufio from Hook* *pees herself all over again* *squeals like a small child and makes the hotel staff look at her strangely* *huge cheezy grin*
And now, I am going to go call my mother. See you kids later. *HUUUUGGGGG* I lurve you baby dolls!!!
